The hotel is made nicely, with lovely lawns and pool but the rooms and bathroom are very basic and take away the entire charm of the hotel. The rooms are claustrophobic hence I mostly sat in the lawn in front. The breakfast is okayish with similar options like most Indian hotels but the dinners are usually very gud and delicious. The biggest plus the staff is warm and courteous. The team at the hotel is very gud and they know their jobs well. And it's quite centrally located.
Right from booking, room selection, stay at the place, service, assistance in daily itinerary set up was amazing .....all staff was very cooperative and warm hearted, special mention for GM- Gautam who took great efforts to ensure comfort of all the guests. Had a minor break down of my SUV, all required assistance provided by Mr. Gautam to get the vehicle repaired in time at a place which was totally unknown to self. Really liked personal touch in the service which will stay with us for long-long time. Place has great ambience with huge pool and gardens in back and front. Cultural program, DJ night and lay out was amazing during new year eve, kids loved it.

We had just walked into check the room availability here for one night, during our visit to Jaisalmer on 28th December, 2022. However, we ended up extending and staying here for 3 nights. The GM, Mr. Gautam Chandola, is a fantastic person. He looks into each guests comfort and requirement personally. For us, the moment we checked into the hotel, right from then till the day we checked out, he helped us plan our itinerary on what to explore and how to reach each location. He also helped us secure permission for the border 609 post visit. When he was helping us check in on day one, he noticed that I had mobility challenges and without us making any special request or having to ask for, he made sure that we had a room with easy accessibility and had no steps. The food there is amazing, the staff extremely courteous, polite and prompt. The location of the property is away from the hustle bustle of the city, thought within the city. The property is well maintained and rooms are clean. We couldn't have asked for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend other to definitely visit and stay here atleast once. You would want to go back here again due to the hospitality of the entire staff, right from the GM to the darban. Don't miss out the sunset from their rooftop…
Nice property...just outside city crowds of jaisalmer and on the way to Sam dunes...the architecture is good and room and bathroom were very spacious ....the buffet food is also good and not so spicy...food was comfortable for kids...we had small issues in the room during check in but those were immediately taken care by the hotel staff...when this matter was informed to the Manager - Mr Gautam, he apologized and also gave us complementary dinner for the night...this shows hotel way of care for the guests...they have a garden area in the middle where dj is played every night till 10pm...breakfast was also good.... Suggestion - please add kids area or slides Caution- there is a shop inside the hote (Shopper Paradise)l in one corner which is run by one sardarji...he is a little annoying character and forcefully asks clients to get in his shop and buy merchandise. I had wrong impression that he was owner of hotel....till the time one buys from his shop he will come to you and meet even if you are enjoying in garden or going / coming from room...as my room was adjacent to his shop everytime i opened the door he was standing outside... As a strategy to avoid him finally I bought something from his store which I didn't need and then he got little distant and focussed on other guests...Hotel management please do something for this issue and restrict this person's movement to his shop only...otherwise he will always breach guests privacy..... Overall good stay…
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in their cottage rooms. The rooms are neat and clean. Overall the property is well maintained. It is a large property with heritage look. It offers ample parking space within the premises. They also organise DJ every evening. All of this at a fair price. Staff is courteous and offers good service. It was a nice experience for us at this hotel and made our stay in Jaisalmer a pleasant one.
To start with the good. The property is gorgeous. Now for the bad. We had booked through an agent for 1 night, 15-16 December 2021. The day before we reached we called them to ask if our booking was confirmed. They said yes. While checking in we were told that we had been booked for standard deluxe but those rooms were fully booked so we had been upgraded to a cottage. While checkout, however, we were presented with a bill and asked for payment. When we showed our booking voucher they denied any knowledge and couldn't find any record or email in their 'system'. Apparently 'hotel policy' is to accept bookings verbally on the phone without advance. When we called a day ahead to confirm our booking they thought it was to make a booking that we had called. But note that while checking in we had been told that our room was being upgraded. One wonders how a nonexistent booking could be upgraded. After waiting for an hour they said they had received payment and we could leave. We did nothing, just sat around trying to contact the agent, whose offices would open at 10 a.m. Very strange that on call before check in we were assured that there was a booking, at check in our room was upgraded, at checkout the booking vanished and we were presented with a bill, then after an hour they somehow received payment for a booking that did not exist. Rooms and service: the room was not well maintained. The walls had scuff marks and hadn't been refreshed for a while. The building looked gorgeous but evidence of neglect was visible on the boundary walls and lobby. No hand towel was provided in the bathroom. 2 shampoo bottles and 2 soaps were provided, no lotion. Toilet paper was not put in the holder, we had to put it in ourselves. There was no plug near the electric kettle, which had to be put on the floor. There were 2 glasses but only 1 cup in a double bed room. The restaurant stocked nothing but Slice (which was also the only juice provided in breakfast) in terms of soft drinks. No other option. There are no shops within walking distance, we had let our car go, and reception and room service both flatly said nothing could be arranged, 'hotel policy' was never to get anything from outside. Do they have a mini Slice factory in the back premises? We were willing to pay restaurant surcharges and room service charges, but nothing could be arranged as per 'hotel policy'. The food is adequate, but nobody expects really good food from hotels so that's okay. Breakfast had a lot of options but the quality wasn't very great. The service was mostly indifferent, most of the people couldn't be bothered to be welcoming and warm and things could have gotten ugly while checkout. This was not only with us. We noticed that only visibly affluent large groups were given cordial treatment. One young man travelling alone was almost faced with an interrogation when he asked for his key card at the reception. He kept repeating his room number and the receptionist kept asking him suspiciously if he had a booking! There is a person who runs the souvenir shop. He is a very good salesman, extremely affable and persuasive, and can make one buy his stuff almost against one's will. He stocks the same stuff as in the tourist shops around the fort area and the prices are reasonable and he can send stuff with free shipping. But he does try to pre-empt any shopping from the bazaars. Of all the people we met in the hotel he was the most welcoming. A completely tourist-dependent place such as Jaisalmer is inevitably going to be a hotbed of scams and there will be trust issues. Which is why one depends on the goodwill of an establishment. In this regard this hotel was a complete disaster. The basic takeaway seems to be trust no one, double check everything, and insist on written records for everything.…
The best part about this place is that every person working there would help you out, despite their positions. They were so punctual regarding my booking. It was very crowded in Nov (as its the peak time). Still they managed to pay proper heed to everyone's queries. I'd recommend people this place to everyone for a budget and healthy stay.
