The food here is fantastic and Mokam will accommodate your taste. Rooms are clean and its a great price. I had a traditional toilet in my room. Mokam is a great host and helped me with directions and off the menu food requests. The guys here also arrange desert trip which is better than the vast majority of people arranging similar and i can recommend them to others in jaisalmer

Moka was a great host, who gives great advice, cooks great and is very accommodating. His hotel is basic but splendid and he has a very relaxed approach in running his business. The roof top cafe is a great place to relax and drink massala chai, viewing the city over the fort walls sitting directly next to one of the main temples within the fort. Definitely worth staying here to go visit the temples the next day, and he also provides a day trip out to a haunted village with a camel tour and dinner just outside Jaisalmer. Cheap, pleasant and worth every penny.

The hotel got issue with agoda team. So don't book through agoda app. Restaurant provide good food. They even allow me stay there after checking out. Room without bathroom got less wifi range. View from restaurant top floor is cool

Though there's concern with staying in the fort contributing to its demise, this is a fantastic location-- tucked just around a corner from the hustle and bustle, things were surprisingly quiet. And the rooftop view is beautiful. Mokam was very helpful in both getting us TO the hotel and arranging an early morning ride FROM the hotel to the railway station. He was also very considerate about our need for hot water in the morning.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I enjoyed it so much. Hotel is simple but clean, calm and heritage with old style atmosphere. Rooms have private and shared bathrooms. Hot water is possible in the morning, but this is the water system of the fort. One room was really heritage with old decoration and atmosphere. On the rooftop restaurant there is cozy seating area with Jain temple and city view. You can relax here at any time and try different Indian food. Especially I like masala chai, egg carry and chapati. All food is fresh! You should try it. The stuff here is polite and they give you everything for comfortable staying. Mokam picked me up on the train station in the early morning. He is friendly and respectful person. He told me all information about the city, showed interesting spots in the fort. After I went to his safari twice because it’s really good organized. We were in the beautiful dunes, made camel riding and spent amazing time under stars talking and joking. It’s a really good safari in the non touristic place, so you can enjoy the peaceful desert without hundreds of tourists and traffic jam. Strongly recommend it!!!
