Jasmin Home is nicely decorated giving authentic Rajasthani experience. We booked 2x Double Deluxe Superior balcony. We were given room number 6 &7. Room 7 was little bigger than room number 6. Both rooms were well maintained and had a heater which was needed in the cold month of January. Room size was adequate for 2 adults. I used jarokha - (sitting area near the window) to put my suitcase.
They also have laundry facilities at a reasonable rate.
Shower had 3 options - bucket, handheld shower and rain shower. It was simple to change the settings however water pressure was little low but adequate. There are other amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, body wash and also hand wash in pump bottles.
Emergency lights installed in bathrooms and other important areas helped us during power cuts.
Breakfast was made to order from a selected breakfast menu. They can’t make any other items, even if you’re willing to pay for it because they have to cater other guests which was understandable.
Devendra was helpful in getting rickshaw and giving information about surrounding areas. Jitendra also arranged sunset & dinner safari with Helsinki desert camp. It was isolated from other camps and little away from sand dunes which was good. From camp we went in Jeep to sand dunes which was a bumpy ride. We left our backpack in the car at the campsite but I suggest to take it with you because my phone slipped out of my pocket during the bumpy ride. Also, this ride may not be suitable for elderly or pregnant women. There was an additional cost to travel to camp site from Jasmin Home which was worth it because we also visited Amar Sagar Jain temple and Khaba fort and had car to ourselves during our trip to and from Jasmin Home.
Overall, the stay was comfortable and we’re happy with all the arrangements made by Jitendra and his team. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We spent 6 wonderful days in Jasmin Home, where we were treated like true friends. All that travellers can wish for is provided, tastefully furnished rooms,
extremely clean bathrooms, a varied generous breakfast menu, plus freshly cooked meals at other times of the day. All staff members meet the guest with never-failing politeness and friendliness.
An aura of peace and gentleness pervades this place. Every day, the owner, who has designed this recently opened hotel himself, was present, ready to help, showing genuine interest in the well-being of
his guests, sharing views and his knowledge.
We wish other travellers the good luck to find their way to Jitu ji' s doorstep. Enter, dear travellers, and
you will understand why we so highly recommend Jasmin Home. It is a precious jewel, where human
values count above all.

This hotel was in the new city but was situated on a street that gave it an old town feeing. It was 1 km from the fort and accessible to local shopping. The hotel was beautifully furnished with owner designed modern/Bohemian furniture with a mix of his family antiques. Our air conditioned rooms were comfortable.
The rooftop restaurant had great cooks and offered a varied breakfast menu. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a treat for us.
Jitu welcomed and gave valuable and interesting information to us first time visitors to Jaisalmer.
He arranged transportation with the friendlly and professional drivers. He recommended the real deal stores for pashmina scarves from Kashmir, antique mirror hand stitched artisan pieces, and antique furnishings.
He recommended the tour of the living fort with Lula. This tour should not be missed.
Jitu's camel safari was a wow experience.

Such a beautiful stay! This boutique hotel has very royal-like, well-lit rooms and very well maintained by staff and the hotel owner(Jitender Ji). He’s very helpful and arranged a sand dunes trip with Rajasthani folk cultural night too.
USP of this property is it’s nearby to all the touristy attractions and very close to the airport too! A must stay and heavily recommended!!

Hotel Jasmin Home is located away from crowded area (i.e. quieter, less honking, peaceful) yet walking distance to key sites in Jaisalmer. We walked 20 mins to Gadisar Lake. The hotel is a beautiful replica haveli built within the last 4 yrs. Upon arrival we were personally greeted by Jitendra who also happens to be the owner. He is a very warm and knowledgeable person who personally ensure that we were taken care of. The hotel is a boutique hotel with 11 rooms that are tastefully decorated with Rajasthani hues, furniture, art and decor.
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was great. Visiting in December we were worried about cold rooms and hot water. No issues with either at this hotel.
The restaurant is located on the top floor with views of the Jaisalmer Fort. The food was yummy and the service at the restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast was included and upon Mr. Jitendra's suggestion we ordered Daal Batti. It was made to perfection.
Mr. Jitendra also arranged a half day walking tour of Jaisalmer with an extremely knowledgeable, English speaking tour guide who turned out to be excellent.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for location, rooms, service, and food. I would stay here again.

If you're looking for a great place to stay in Jaisalmer, one of the best boutique hotels is Jasmin Home. Thanks to Google, I was able to learn about this location. My husband and I were looking at different hotels and home stays in Jaisalmer when we stumbled upon the one that we ended up choosing. We called and spoke with Mr. Jitendra ji, and promptly made the reservation. There is peace and quiet at this hotel's location. The building's lime stome featured an abundance of design, making it look fantastic. Jitendra ji and his lovely daughter Jasmin greeted us with warm smiles. Fresh orange juice was provided, and it was delicious. The Maharani room we stayed in was enormous, brightly coloured, etc. The hotel and room met the standards of a luxury 4- or 5-star establishment. This hotel was the epitome of spotless cleanliness. In all that space, I couldn't even find a speck of dust. The atmosphere was superb. Every detail of this hotel is the result of careful planning and execution. We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with our experience. Sir ji was very kind and helpful, and he connected us with a wonderful guide and friend named Lalu ji. He arranged for us to be driven to various locations. The food was excellent, and they even accommodated my daughter, who is seven, by providing special meals. Dev and his crew made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, down to the last bite. Dev was extremely cordial and pleasant. The cooks and cleaning staff deserve my gratitude as well. Because we had an early morning flight, the crew made sure to pack us a breakfast to go. We will definitely return to this hotel so that we can spend more time with its friendly staff. Already, Jasmin Home is sorely missed. If it weren't for JH and its crew, our trip wouldn't have been nearly as memorable. 💗 🙏

I stayed at Jasmin home (Jaisalmer, Rajasthan) with my family for three nights in January 2023. A Great place to stay; spectacular architecture, spacious and elegant rooms with beautiful Rajasthani decor, walking distance to the fort and the Gadisar Sagar lake. The rooftop offers stunning night views of the fort and Jaisalmer city.
Jitendra (our Jitu vai), the owner of the hotel is a truly humble and helpful human being. He made every effort (e.g., making itinerary, hiring a car, organising desert safari, connecting us with Laluvai: a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who even treated us with cups of tea at his place, and many more) to make our trip to Jaisalmer a memory to treasure.
The staffs also were friendly and accommodating. Dev and other staff members ensured we got everything so that we feel at home away from home. The cook made delicious Rajasthani foods and breakfast for us. Before this, I did not know vegetarian foods could be so delectable. I am grateful to the cook and the staffs for meeting special food requirements for my son.
This review will remain incomplete if I don’t write a few words about our hire car driver Padam vai: an excellently skilful and careful driver. He drove us to Jaisalmer -jodhpur -Udaipur. He followed our itinerary and accommodated any changes we made along the trip. He also suggested and took us to places and restaurants that were worth visiting but not in our itinerary (e.g.Jaisalmer war museum, date palm garden, Mugs4bucks cafe in Chittor). Last but not the least, he sincerely took into account our reviews of places so that he could offer suggestions to his future clients. This demonstrates his sincerity and supportiveness towards his clients.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jasmin home to everyone who wants to stay in a reasonably-priced, calm and hospitable place in Jaisalmer.

I stayed here with my family for a day and have to admit that the owner and the staff knows the true meaning of hospitality.
I was provided all the required knowledge to tour around the city. They also helped me arrange the commute for traveling.
Things I loved the most:
1. The verandah sitting was like a dreamy place.
2. The furniture pieces are on point, very artsy.
3. The hotel location allows you to visit the popular spots within 15-20 mins.
4. The food was fresh and mouth watering. Kadhi is a must have.

The owner and staff of the hotel are extremely kind, and if you need anything, you can get it right away. The rooms are also clean and have a lot of hot water, so you can really relax here and feel like you're at home.
We joined the hotel's desert trip, which was incredibly interesting. The owner also accompanied us the whole time by car, so we returned to the hotel 10 points more conveniently in the evening, and we didn't feel bad. Highly recommendedđź‘Ť
This is a place I would definitely recommend when you come to Jaisalmer.
The room was very clean, and the hot water worked well. The hotel owner and staff were all kind, and they quickly solved any problems or helped us. We could order breakfast as we liked, and it was delicious and full every day.
The desert safari is also highly recommended, and even two girls were able to participate with peace of mind. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk to Jaseru Fort, but it's quiet and you can get a good night's sleep, so I highly recommend it.
