The staff is really pleasant and polite. Nice buffet breakfast and dinner and overall ambience of the place. If a person has to chill inside a hotel with all amenities then this is the hotel. Had a lovely stay here for four days. Great property..

I had done group booking 3 months in advance. The manager Shokat khan made false commitments. As per their policy in case of cancellation before 15 days 100% refund is issued. Mr. Shokat even mentioned it in his quotation. However when I cancelled 1 month in advance he refused to give refund and started ignoring my phone calls or messages. The location and number of tents committed at the time of booking was false. The rooms are very dirty. Outside sitting area is not properly maintained. Staff is not interested in listening to guests. They are always engaged in calls while we were trying to talk.

Overall a very bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a good desert experience. Poor camp. Dishonest management. I lost my money. Hope by reading this review you save yours.

Extremely bad experience. They have multiple sites under various names.
Jaisalmer Dekho, Desert Heritage, Rumis and they claim to be a part of World Bank Group resorts. We were taken to a site first which had the board Desert Heritage but that one is extremely run down with no clean tents and no working amenities. When we protested that the pics of the tents on MakeMyTrip do not match with the reality, we were told this is what it is and we need to make do with it.
Finally after speaking to MakeMyTrip and enquiring around, we realised that there is Jaisalmer Dekho site which is featured in the photos on MakeMyTrip and after 1 hour of arguments we were offered the space there.
The facility is unhygienic and tacky. The hospitality is extremely bad and the staff is down right rude and unhelpful. We weren't greeted with any garlands or tilak and we were watching other guests getting greeted, but we later thanked our luck as they were just serving the welcome drinks from the same set of glasses by just wiping with tissues.
All in all, waste of time and waste of money.

Food quality & hygiene was very bad.
Punctuality of time was not there breakfast and hot water(for bath) delayed by 1 hour.
No reception availability (24*7)
Manager(Shaukat khan) was cooperative but rest of staff was not behaving professional.

Giving 2 stars for camp room.

This place claims to be a 5 stars hotel camp. It is not. It is not possible to rate a camping with tents a 5 stars place. It is totally misleading. Be careful when you book it! And also consider that even if some periods the camp is closed, they let you book it anyway to send you thereafter to the place they want...

Desert Heritage Safari Camp was the best and Mr. Hamje Khan was superb. He made sure that we get everything on time in our Camp. Though whether was Hot in day time as it happens in Jaisalmer during Feb but they provided the Fan to ease. Thar Safari, Camel Rides, Folk Dance, Evening Snacks Arrangement all were beyond excellent. Would highly recommend and will prefer everytime to stay..
