We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotal is very close to the fort area and the hotal manager is very nice. It also guides us to the nearest places to visit. Hotal rooms are good. Dining hotal are also within walking distance and there is also a market nearby.

The owner was absolutely lovely , he was always so happy to help us and was so accommodating. Showers were great, and the rooms were also nice! Central location, right in the middle of the fort. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after a camel safari. We chose this place because it's in a quiet part of the fort, was in our price range (under Rs500), and seemed bright and clean. It had hot water (most of the time), wifi in the room, and the staff were very helpful the entire time. They quickly resolved any issues we had (such as some trousers coming back from the laundrette still dirty) but otherwise left us in peace (no demands for camel safaris!).

The only feedback I'd offer is that some netting over the windows would be nice, maybe make it so it can open so as not to spoil the view of the temple. we wanted to open the windows, but the pigeons try to come in unless you're sat at the window! Even better would be some glass...

Otherwise an excellent stay, thanks.

The owners and operators of Ganesh guesthouse are two of the most welcoming and trustworthy guys we have come across in India. This lead us to book our overnight safari trip with them, Ganesh Travels, and extend our stay with them to 5 nights total.
The guesthouse is conveniently located within the fort making your sight seeing easy.
If you are on a budget Ganesh guesthouse would be one of your best options for Jaisalmer.

We had a pleasant stay at Ganesh Guest house. We arrived early morning when it was still dark and everyone in the fort was sleeping. The owner accommodated us quickly into our room. My sister and I wanted to see the sunrise so he mentioned the roof top which had great view of the temple and rest of the fort, not to mention the sunrise and sunset. We began to have a conversation with the owner he was very nice, accommodating, and helpful. We booked the camel safari with Ganesh travels and he let us come back to shower and keep our stuff with no extra charge. He was not pushy about selling us anything from his convenient store downstairs. The room had a view to the temples and opened up so you can see directly out. There was hot showers, and quiet a night which was a nice break from all the honking and good for a nice sleep. We had food upstairs on the rooftop which also was good. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Ganesh Guest house and would return. Thank you for making our stay in jaisalmer pleasant.

We were in one of the best room of the hotel (room no. 104).it was a very nice experience!
Quiet house in the small streets of jaisalmer fort .very well located at a walking distance of the Jain temple. Nice terrace and good restaurant! Very peaceful place: you can either enjoy the sunset on the terraces or sit comfortably on the cushions of the restaurant .
