Bad behaviour of staff Dirty rooms cold food bad quality Very bad experience Dust in room bad quality beds no hot water in bathroom Please do not waste your time and money here Overall not recommended for family stay
There were mix review with some good and bad Good : 1) grand Welcome with nice Gajal and adventurous shows which was entertaining 2) also camel ride and jeep ride was good. Only thing is jeep ride was not actually only in sand desert . It was mainly for the pickup and drop to desert from camp. Bad. 1) Brekfast was not good , idali is like a stone as it’s too hard 2) the bread toaster was not working it took to much time to toast the bread hence ending with ate the poha only
Superb services offered over here, had an amazing time over here, will definitely hold these memories forever. Special thanks to liyas- this guy helped us through and through and made sure he provided utmost hospitality, being a solo traveller, I felt so safe here and loved. Definitely would recommend ❤️
I stayed at this desert camp for 1 night with family - 4 adults and a 4 year old. I would recommend this camp to fellow travelers. Pros: - Tents were clean and bed was comfortable (big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child). Bathroom was clean & specious and basic toiletries were provided. Hot water was available in the morning after 7 am. Small pedestal fan was available. - Staff was helpful and carried our luggage to the tents (about 100m from car park). - Camp arranged desert jeep safari and camel ride for us at a decent price (need to negotiate). - Cultural program was good and lasted for about 1 hour. We were provided tea/coffee and light snacks (pakoda). Soft drinks, beer, hard drinks were available for additional cost. - Dinner was included and was basic (veg) but with local dishes like ker sangri and gatte ki sabzi. - Breakfast was included but limited options (toast, puri bhaji, tea/coffee). Cons: - Location was a bit difficult to navigate to and when we called up at the camp to ask for directions (due to network issue), the person was rude and asked us to follow google maps (which we were doing anyways).…
First the good part - - Accommodation was good 👍 - The cultural program was good 👍 - Food was ok - Staff at campsite was competent and helpful 👍 Caution!! - The camps sales guys (they will either call u, or try to meet you in Jaisalmer) try to convince you to sell the package in advance at much higher rates. (we were told 13000/-) - They use tactics like telling that booking cannot be done once you are in the camp, or charges would be too high there etc - All of this was bogus. In fact, near the campsites lot of independent vendors are available that would provide you camel rides, jeep rides etc for much lower price - you can easily negotiate - The biggest dune, with best views is far away from this camp. - A lot of camps, including the Rajasthan tourism camp, are facing the dune - Check those out as well first.…
Very good camp , clean and spacious. Cultural events also very good . Live music and dance was awesome . We booked city guide through them and the guide Irfan was very good . Jeep Safari and camel safari were also very good . We went camel safari in morning . So we saw sunrise and sunset in desert.
Excellent accomodation, scenic location, very clean, tasty food. Tents are very clean, cultural programme are of superb quality. Best place to visit in Sam dunes jaisalmer. Camel ride and Jeep Safari were excellent
It was a marvelous experience to stay here for a night. Starting from pick up at Jaisalmer Airport, jeep Safari,Camel Safari etc were arranged as per my expectations. The evening cultural program was very rich in content. Tent itself, buffet dinner & breakfast was beyond expectations. I would always recommend this camp to the forthcoming individual/group. Special thanks to Mr Habib and Mr Ilius.
We are stay at desert dream royal camp .there is good service .tent are clean .there is culture program folk dance and DJ party also very fantastic . Jeep Safari camel safari very good .staff was helpful and friendly we are enjoy alot at camp .. highly recommend
We (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed here for standard one night experience on 26th dec21...(it had rained on 26th dec21 from pokhran till jaisalmer but luckily didnt rain at the sam dunes, next day morning was too foggy with chilling winds)....about the stay the tent was clean and bathroom cum toilet was also spacious...please dont expect 5star hotel amenities...we booked a jeep safari (rs 2500...on higher side but ok for once in a lifetime experience)...it was fun on return the cultural program started in open area with proper seating arrangements...they offered cold pakoras and hot tea ....yes it was difficult to eat the pakodas...they have set up a small bar also where u can get alcohol / snacks/ cigrettes / hookah etc on chargeable basis... after cultural program the DJ started and ended exactly at 10pm....buffet dinner was good... there is no heater available in the room but if the tents are properly zipped then it is manageable. Mr Habib provided an extra bed on request... as tents are very near to each but not sound proof so one can hear sounds of noises... next morning we could not do camel ride (part of package) due to heavy fog and chilly winds....didnt image to get Delhi weather in Jaisalmer deserts...breakfast was also normal....checked out at 10am for longewala museum / tanot mata mandir which are approx 2-2.5 hrs drive from here.....on the way the weather cleared and we could manage the camel rides... these camps are there only for 4-5 months and I think Dec is the peak and expensive season. suggestion - please plan some kids playing are / acitivity (puppet show) Nice one time experience…
