We stayed there for 1 night and we had a superb experience. It is a nice and clean guesthouse managed by a family. The rooms were squeaky clean with 24 hours hot water.
The family would go out of the way to help you and make your stay comfortable. The hotel has one of the best views from the roof top and the food they serve is homely and yum.
We had a booking only for one day but they let us keep our luggage for an extra day without any extra charge and also got us dinner packed for the train journey back.
Extreme customer service and helpful staff makes your travel truly comfortable. Would highly recommend this place for a comfortable trip.

This guesthouse really makes you feel welcomed by an Indian family. Rooms are basic but nice and clean and you should bring your padlock to close the door. It is ideally situated in the heart of the city and the rooftop offers spectacular views. The restaurant offers freshly prepared home-style dishes, and although menu choices are limited the quality is excellent. Only negative point are the beds; even to Indian standards they're awful back breakers.

This was the best place i stayed during my jodhpur and jaisalmer trip, here this is a 250 yr old haveli kept very much neat and clean and served with home food on the roof top terrace with the view of the fort and can enjoy the pleasent atmosphere. This is not a hotel but managed by the Head of the family Mr. Pramod and his wife and two daughters who cooks a really tasty food. We would love to stay for few more days but had to leave on the good note. other places near the haveli is walkable distance and one can take a walking tour of the jaisalmer havelis.

Affordable rooms over the 3 floors!
Don't book on the 2nd or last floor, as rooms are hot. Nice view from the small rooftop from where you can see the fort!

Unfortunately our room was too hot and we didn't have the recommendations from the owner that Indian people usually give.

But the small size and family type of the hotel makes it a good address.

Warm hospitality is an understatement if we had to describe this place. It was incredible. Extremely kind host and his family. Mr. Pramod and his son personally saw to our welfare and gave us clear directions about what we ought to see and do in Jaisalmer. Even our unearthly check-in and check-out timings were addressed with the most generous arrangements and we couldn't be thankful enough. The masala chai at 5:30, was a life-saver in the morning of a cold New Year's eve. The desert safari camp was great and one that should not be missed. My husband and I are absolutely in love with this charming place and we hope to go back later this year again.

We really enjoyed this homestay and the hosts for many reasons:
1. Located in the center of the city so can easily walk anywhere, but on a quiet street which is good when you want to relax.
2. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the fort.
3. Best masala chai in town.
4. The father and son that run the homestay are extremely helpful and kind. Aside for organizing an awesome camel trip, they took me to their barber for a shave and out to the markets to buy fresh food for cooking.
5. Has all the stuff you hope for in a homestay like comfortable beds, hot shower, fast wifi, etc.
I might be back in the area in May and will definitely stay here again if I do.

Lovely and family-hold guesthouse, in the very center of the old town of Jaisalmer. The fort is only a few minutes walking from there, and the rooftop has a magnificent view over it. The building is located among the local, traditional carved houses of Jaisalmer.
The family is more than friendly, smiling and talkative. They will do everything they can to make sure your staying is comfortable and pleasant. And they do pick you up at the bus station!
My room was clean, decent and well supplied for the price.
I tried the camel safari proposed by the house, and it was awesome. We had a great camel driver who took us to his village and then to some wild, fairy sand dunes. One of my best experiences in India so far.

Thank you so much!

We stayed three nights at Residency Centre Point, but wish we could have stayed longer. Pramod and his son Dheeraj were excellent hosts who ensured we were always comfortable and relaxed. They provided honest information and delicious home-cooked meals. Pramod organized and accompanied us on our evening camel safari and very interesting sightseeing tour which is a must do for anyone visiting Jaisalmer. Even if you think sitting on a camel might be a bit lame, the peace and quiet of watching the sun set over the dunes is worth it. We have stayed in over 50 hotels and guesthouses on India and believe Residency Centre Point to be one of the best. Thank you Pramod, you and your family have given us fond memories of the most beautiful city in India.

This family run guest house is pure bliss! We're a family of three (me, my husband and 4 year old daughter) travelling in India on a budget. We had planned to stay in Jaisalmer for 2 days, and ended up staying 4 nights. The staff is friendly and honest and really do their best to help their guests have a pleasant and hassle free stay. We arrived by train and they came to pick us up at the station to make sure we wouldn't have any problems finding the place.
The rooms are very very very clean, ours wasn't too big but very pretty and had a window and private balcony. The roof top terrace offers a wonderful view of the fort and we enjoyed staying there to have tea, taste the delicious home-cooked food or just have a chat with Pramod and his son. The guest house is 5 mins walk from the fort and 1 min from Patwa ki Haveli, and Pramod also arranges trips to the desert. We took a very pleasant half-day tour and really appreciated that all costs were detailed clearly. First receipt I've received since we're here! We'd definitely recommend staying here for a few nights and spend some time with this nice family.
