Hello All, Don’t forget to ask for Pinky . She is very good in cordinating things for the guest. She listens with utmost patience & try for her best to complete it . You are a great help Pinky . Totally recommend the stay in the desert palace because of their hospitality and warmth. Thanks, Neha
we were a group of 8 families visiting Jaisalmer for the famous Desert Festival. We were surprised by the dedication and professionalism of th3e entire staff. Right from serving morning tea after late night parties ending at 2 AM, maintaining hygiene in covid times to serving three meals with impeccable combination and taste ( thanks to chef Pradeep Chaudhary) It was a lifetime experience
I have visited this property for the second time. Excellent hospitality, delicious food, courteous staff and over all a wonderful stay. I highly recommend every traveler to stay in this hotel only. Clean bathrooms, neat rooms and proper hygienic conditions. Thanks team desert palace for adding a star to our holiday. We were 8 couples and we stayed for 3 days here.
The place is amazing all the staff treat you as family specially corporate chef pradeep ji. All the facilities provided are amazing like pool area, gym, spa, etc… The rooms are really good and comfortable. And over all its an amazing property for enjoying and its night view is amazing and i will recommend this to you.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. It is a beautiful property giving an amazing night view of the Jaisalmer fort. The staff is very friendly. The food was amazing all thanks to Corporate Chef Pradeep Chaudhary. Would definitely recommend this property for vacations.
We left our camera by mistake during check out..! But when we reached back to them, they found it and are sending it over. The staff was also very kind and helpful, even though they were very occupied during the new years season.
I can say that I will never ever come back to Jaisalmer only & only because of this hotel. I hated the experience of a stay in The Desert Palace. Charged me double for the gala dinner for new year due to their staff error. So so not worth staying here. The hotel is old and worn out … service is pathetic. Lights don’t work well. Bathrooms are dirty. Linen is filthy. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.
Extremely pathetic service by the staff - despite the promise of early check-in by the staff and despite the fact the room was available & ready for check-in, the front desk guy kept on passing time and refusing to provide us a room for about 2 hours in cold, morning hours. It was only after I started making calls to their head office, the property manager showed up and allowed us to check-in. The staff was not even apologetic about their behavior and they just kept on making lame excuses and lying on my face. The room itself was ok, but if you ask anything from the staff, it takes ages and n number of calls. The TV d2h was not working in the room and had to make several calls to get it working. Food options are very limited (no local menu), and again, takes forever if you order room service. For next day, even though i had requested to keep the room ready in the main building in advance and despite property manager's promise, front desk staff plainly refused to give me the room in the main building and made me wait half an hour again. Again, the property manager cane and provided us the room. However, the room was dirty sand was there all over, mirrors had prints and stains all over; tea-coffee pouches were just thrown on the table. Bathroom, of all, was filthy - had dirty stains in toilet seat, on the dustbin. Took me many calls and an hour to get the bathroom cleaned up. Another hour to get the dish tv connection working. Next morning, bathroom's flush stopped working. The location of the hotel is very far, isolated, and not at all suitable if you don’t have your own vehicle. Travel desk is just another way for them to loot you - consider booking your tours/cabs from outside - they will offer you the same options at much lesser price. Overall, avoid this property at all cost - their rates are not cheap; even if I get it for ₹2,000 bucks, I would rather not go here and instead spend my ₹10,000 bucks on other properties where staff knows the meaning of customer service.…
Worst experience of my life staying in this property very bad service ..full property full of noise and loud d j being played all night long ..food could not have been worst what they serve ..all kinds of linens have stains on them ….smelly rooms and first of all room service do not pick ur call ..and they do u need to give them 3-4 reminders and then u get your order after 1 hour ..I waited 45 mins and 3 reminders for a cup of tea
