It was not awesome, but good stay. Reason for this review is owner Mr. Purohit. He is friendly and helpful. Called him directly to know if he accepts goibibo or not finally I have him token amout for 2 rooms.

It was around 11pm reaching Jaisalmer, he was asking about my status multiple times and gave suggestions about route which I like very much.

Coming to room, they are ok, built with yellow stones and rajastani style.
Washrooms are ok ok, no ventilator fan.
No water heater(Hot water in the morning at 8am)
No TV
No complementary breakfast (he agreed to serve us kachodi and poha after we booked room for an extra night.)

He helped booked Desert camp (Welcome Desert Camp) for us, which was a nice experience for us.

Having said about amenities, we only used room to keep luggage and to sleep. So it looked fine, after all my main priority was jaisalmer not room.

If you are expecting fancy ambiance and memorable stays then you don't appreciate it.

Btw we parked car in the same lane on road infront of one of his hotel. Don't worry it's kind of dead end so no traffic, I felt safe there. Its semj residential.

Transport.

Fort is a kilometre away, it's visible from rooftop, we walked through local market full of shops.

It was such a great stay in this Hotel. Sunny and his family are running this hotel since many years.

Everything was great. They received us so well. They came to pick us up at the train station when we arrived. The food is good, the room was clean. They are really helpful if you need anything and their hotel are really well located, really close to the fort.

They organise some camel safaris. At the beginning, we didnt want to do this kind of things, but we did after a talk with customers, and it was really great, camels are well treated, guides so so kind and generous.

Our stay was just lovely !

All the best to all of you !

Had a wonderful stay there. Yash was great in advising a plan for us. He was kind enough to pick up and drop off at the station during the late hours. Camel safari was wonderful with masala chai during the sunset and silent dinner cooked by the locals in the sand dunes. Throughly enjoyed.

We booked a camel safarithe day before we wanted to start. The staff was really helpful and made everything possible on such short notice. We were picked up at the bus stop and provided with a room to relax before the safari started. After the safari we stayed one more night there. The hotel is clean and quiet.

Owner of the hotel may looks a little dishonest at the first time when talking about their safari service to you. But he is just so FRIENDLY and DO offers better safari than orher hotels. (5 sights with guide and fully equipped safari in about 1500Rs; whereas other hotel may offer only 1 sight and less eqquiped one in about 2500) And they're willing to help you on any problems!

I am running out of words on how to appreciate the fantastic hospitality, warm service and excellent guest care of the entire team. So, I am just adding another feather to the cap of Hotel Renuka/Ratan palace :)

I stayed with my family in the hotel(Ratan palace) for three full days. The owner Mr. Sunny and his Father are one of the most courteous and warm people I have met. Mr. Sunny took care of everything about our trip, right from picking us from station at 5.30 AM in the morning. He guided us very aptly and was so genuine in giving us appropriate advice right from shopping, food points, etc. We were mind boggled by the way he understands his guests and gives us all the possible tips of how to enjoy our stay both memorably and economically which is very rare quality I have noticed in hotel industry where managements just try to exploit our ignorance.

The service staffs Ameen,Mubarak, etc were all so warm and friendly with ultimate care. They have a homely rooftop restaurant serving good food.

The rooms are clean and comfortable enough to have a pleasant stay. They organize a wonderful camel safari to sam sand dunes and night program in their resort.

All you need is to say your expectations clearly and the rest would be completely taken care by Mr.Sunny and his team.

A 5star from my side for everything :)
