We, from Kerala, were traveling for the first time to Rajastan. Our main intention was to have a feel of desert stay in Jaisalmer. Based on rating in different websites, we selected Shiv Tara Desert Camp. I had lot of queries on rooms/tents in desert as we Keralites are not adjusted to low temperatures. And we were traveling with mother and small children. In this regard, I was totally in touch with Tarun ji and Chandra ji, both from Shiv Tara. They really responded well to all my queries. They arranged an extra bed for us,based on my request. Stay was very fantastic. They arranged everything, desert jeep safari, camel safari. Tent was clean and well suited for family. Food was very tasty with proper hygienic maintained. Taxi driver Guman ji arranged by Shiv Tara was very co-operative throughout our stay in Jaisalmer. Desert camp is at a very good location. we have stayed in Regale AC tent. They have provided complimentary camel safari included in our package. Although we have the option to do more camel ride on pay basis . Jeep safari is available on payment basis from desert camp. Food provided is good .staff is very good and cooperative. Cultural programme in the night is also good. Bathroom provided with the tent is also neat and clean.

Firstly, plan any tent stay for one day only. The location is away from the main road and google maps cld lead thru a sandy path The host Mr. Tarun and rest of the team are very hospitable and helpful. The tents were clean , but hot water in bathrooms is not predictable. No mosquitos for sure. Bed linen was average. The stay included a camel ride. Food was pretty basic.

Best service within budget. The owner is very helpful and takes care of everything himself. The size of the camp is very large and very clean. The food quality was good and clean. The location of the camp is very good.

Awesome camp, enjoyed to the fullest. Specially folk dance and folk music with active participation of all visitors. Camp caters all the need of family stay viz. safe and secure environment, with all amenities in the tent. 👍👍👍 must visit.

I have been to this place with my friends and this place have one of the best camps , view of dunes and hospitality to offer in Sums of Jaisalmer. Amd the most interesting part this place is 100%Veg inside the camps and the food is the best you can have in town.

We had visted jaisalmer with family and I am suggesting to every one please stay with Shiv tara and you will never disappointed. You will find every thing what you want to make your trip amazing.
