I have stayed a week in this excellent hôtel. Very well located, charming, comfortable (top shower which is not a gimmy around here), and above ALL extremely friendly and helpful staff. Table is also good, Prim is a very good cook! I will come back here with great pleasure!!!
It's a lovely haveli to stay a couple of nights. Rooms are spacious, clean and cool. Within a few minutes you can walk to all the sites in jaisalmer. Hassle free trip organisation (their desert camp tour) and transfers to/from airport and train station.
Great, location, staff and very clean, highly recommended. Very nicely upkept and decorated. Walking distance to all attractions in town and also good restaurant on rooftop. Great option in Jaisalmer.
Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely haveli. Beautiful view of the fort from the rooftop seated area and restaurant( delicious food!). Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Every member of staff was so welcoming, friendly and exceptionally helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to book the Pleasant Haveli again- highly recommended!
I spent a while looking for accommodation so we could experience the best of Jaisalmer. The Hotel Pleasant Haveli has lived up to my expectations and more. It is outside the Fort so you can look at the fort day and night! You can walk to the fort and most other city attractions with in 10 minutes. The staff have helped at ever step of our visit, nice people! Rooms, food and facilities are great. They picked us up from the rail station at 4:30 and gave us a bed untill our room was ready, at no extra cost. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Jaisalmer. Loved every minute of our stay!!
We ate here as we were staying in the fort. It has great views of the fort, the food is just delicious and Beru providing the service was wonderful. A romantic, comfortable and relaxing place with great food x
We had an excellent stay. They were so helpful from start to finish - after I booked Dilip quickly got in touch to arrange everything, we were picked up from the train station, and because we were arriving late (after 11pm, the kitchen closing at 10:30pm), they took a food order and kept the food back for us until we had arrived. The room was big and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace is fantastic - beautiful view, very peaceful. Delicious breakfast. They also organised our overnight Desert Safari for us, which was absolutely brilliant, and when we got back we were given access to a room for a shower and to change, and then we could leave our bags there all day before our night train. They could not do enough for us, it was wonderful.
Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful city of Jaisalmer and the excellent Hotel Pleasant Haveli. It started with the hotel providing a free pick up from the railway station at 6am and finished with a free drop off at the bus station and them confirming for us which bus we needed to get on with the staff at the bus stand. In between the staff at the front desk and especially in the rooftop restaurant couldn't have been more attentive and friendly, ensuring that we never wanted for anything. We had a deluxe room that was beautifully decorated, the only issues we had were some very short power and wifi outages which were an issue across Jaisalmer and not just the hotel, those of you who have travelled to India before know this is a common occurrence and the only surprise is how…
Pleasant Haveli Hotel in Jaisalmer delivered the most accommodating and enjoyable experience we could have ever hoped for. The sandstone walled rooms were clean, the water in the washroom reliably hot, and the linens fresh. On the rooftop, Prem and his staff maintain a wonderful restaurant, with a beautiful balcony as well as an air conditioned interior. While here, we spent one night in the desert on the hotel's "non-touristic desert safari," and indeed it was the real deal. Led by the knowledgeable Arun and accompanied by Haveli owner Nerendra, we visited multiple village ruins, rode camels through the brush, and slept under the stars. Despite our having checked out already, Pleasant Haveli lent us a room upon our return to freshen up before continuing our travels. True to…
We loved our stay at Pleasant Haveli! Hotel Pleasant Haveli is the kind of place that travels by word of mouth: that’s how we found it and it did not disappoint. The staff is attentive, accommodating, and friendly. The rooftop restaurant is a delight and the food is fantastic. The view of the fort and surrounding city is so so cool. What’s more, their camel safari experience in the National Park is incredible. No frills, but all the essentials are there (food, water, beer if you’d like, warm blankets and a cot, toilet paper) and it’s an experience you will never forget.
