The hotel is modern, but built on traditional lines. The architecture continues inside, it is not just a facade on a modern box. The location is excellent, accessible by car but a short walk to the fort. Our room was spacious with a huge, confortable bed, enormous bathroom and great A/C. The room felt warm and cosy, not like a standard hotel at all. What makes this hotel is the quality of the service. Everyone in this locally owned and staffed hotel is friendly, smiling, solicitous and professional. Guides, transport and laundry were all organised quickly and easily. Breakfast included on the roof terrace with fort views is enormous and tasty. We had to ask them not to serve the full included menu to avoid overeating!

Haveli built in the refined Jaisalmer style, with completely sculpted external walls, similar to lace or filigree. Tiny reception located at the entrance, and welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was located on the first floor, very spacious and welcoming, furnished with massive furniture in typical Rajasthani style, elaborate frames on the windows, original lamps on the ceiling, which was in turn decorated with floral motifs. Comfortable bathroom, with very spacious and efficient shower cabin, soft towels, hairdryer on the wall. Extremely quiet area, which ensured us a restful rest. Possibility of dining in the highly rated restaurant on the top floor, which we gladly took advantage of. Continental breakfast, with mixed fresh fruit (banana, grapes, apples, mandarins, papaya), bread, butter and ghee, jam, scrambled eggs, chai masala. Pleasant stay in a charming location.

We had a pleasant stay at this pleasant place ! Being centrally located, you can walk to most places of interest including the fort.
Rooms were really cozy and well furnished, especially the heater came in very handy. You cannot fit a third person in this category of rooms. And if you book another one, it will be on a different floor.
Food is fine, nothing very great to write about. But they can customize pretty well. Staff is courteous, but the main cook can get impatient if he is directly taking orders.
They can also arrange cabs for pickup and drop, which again came in handy for us.

Hotel Pleasant Haveli has become a camel safari pick-up place for a while, but after the safari you can relax and take your luggage and use the facilities! Clean and comfortable rooms. We also run a camel safari and the safari is very satisfying. In the middle of the desert, the hygiene is better than the ordinary restaurant, and it is delicious and delicious. Everyone is friendly and polite. If you are willing to come to Jaisalmer, you might want to stay at this shop and take a camel safari.

An absolutely top hotel with an excellent level of service. The camel safari is particularly recommended - this was excellent value and Uka, Puna, Dennis and Bharat were extremely able, approachable and professional members of staff with good English. One of the best parts about the safari was the quality of the food and camp site provided, plus the fact that they did not bring tourists to any souvenir shops to try and sell them things. They also showed us other things such as a fort and an abandoned village. Highly recommended, especially the overnight one so that you get to stay out with the stars. A big thank you to all the staff at the hotel and on the camel safari!

After having a couple of bad experiences in Indian hotels, the Pleasant Haveli came to give us the best experience of our trip. The hotel itself was so beautiful, the carvings and all the details made it a super cozy and nice place to go back to. The owner and the staff were the nicest people we had the pleasure of meeting, we mentioned how much we loved lassi and they gave us a private lesson on how they made their super delicious mix fruit lassi smoothie. My friends and I are somewhat digital nomads and while we visited the city during the day, we worked all night under the stars in their beautiful rooftop lounge with the fort as our background view. Our train out of Jaisalmer left at 3 am on a Sunday and they not only allowed us to stay in our room till our departure time (without charging us anything for that night!) but the owner also took us himself to the train station, helped us find our train and helped us carry our bags all the way to our cart. When I come back to india, I will definitely stay more in this marvelous city in this hotel that felt like our home on the road! (Plus, their desert safari is a must do that if it’s not in your bucket list, it should now!!!)

A really excellent and affordable stay - located just outside the fort with beautiful views of it from the rooftop restaurant. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the fort as well. The food at te restaurant was excellent; there are limited breakfast options but an extensive list of lunch/ dinner items. The room we stayed in was clean and well/decorated. It was on the smaller side but this wasn’t an issue for us.
We coupled our stay with the camel safari offered by the hotel and it was excellent - I highly recommend it! You sleep under the open stars directly on cots on the dunes (not in tents). This wouldn’t suit someone who likes a little luxury but is perfect for anyone looking for a less touristy and unique experience.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay seamless, from a 4:30am complimentary pick up at the train station to options on what to see in the city.

Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful city of Jaisalmer and the excellent Hotel Pleasant Haveli. It started with the hotel providing a free pick up from the railway station at 6am and finished with a free drop off at the bus station and them confirming for us which bus we needed to get on with the staff at the bus stand. In between the staff at the front desk and especially in the rooftop restaurant couldn't have been more attentive and friendly, ensuring that we never wanted for anything. We had a deluxe room that was beautifully decorated, the only issues we had were some very short power and wifi outages which were an issue across Jaisalmer and not just the hotel, those of you who have travelled to India before know this is a common occurrence and the only surprise is how short they were. I would highly recommend visiting both this city and hotel to family and friends and if we ever go back to Jaisalmar will definitely stay again.

We had a great time. One of the most comfortable and relaxing stays made in India. The owner of the hotel is smiling, thoughtful and helpful. At every time we went to reception they supplied us with fresh water, they picked us up by car at the bus stop and were available for any request. Highly recommended

Not on the floor I was on.
I went with a group of friends in separate rooms. They had our rooms (two) next to each other, on the same floor, accessible via the same sort of balcony area.
Best to check with the hotel though. They’re good with calls.
There are more places to choose from in the Jaisalmer area.
