My family of 4 stayed here for 1 night. They upgraded 1 of my rooms which I am really appreciative of. They have got hot shower and clean toilet. There is also a radiator which i didn't use because the winter isn't that cold. The restaurant at the rooftop has some excellent view and reasonably priced food. We had breakfast and dinner, alacarte. The staffs spoke good english. Bhavani, the staff who runs the gallery underground has some nice admirable artwork. He also volunteered to guide us at the Jaisalmet Fort and patwon haveli, so we jumped along since we appreciate the honest and good english he speaks. He also helped me to call and speak to Marriott for a spa booking because I didn't have an indian phone number. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised at how generous the hotel is. There is a laundry opposite with no sign board but the uncle charged me 30rp per piece when the hotel itself charged 20rp. I wished I had given to hotel but I was a itchy and curious so I walked out a bit, 5mins from hotel there is a roundabout with lots of street food and found Laxmi laundry and ended up giving to Laxmi at 20rp each as well. Would have used the hotel's laundry next time. Great job to the reception staff for being honest, and so point on, and also for Bhavani's help. Keep it up!

Initially when I read the reviews and thought the 5 star rating might not be true, But after spending 2 nights at the place we believe it deserves 5 stars and great value for money.
Lets be clear its not a typical Jaisalmer Haveli and neither are you paying for a haveli,
Our room was standard room and was comfortable not very huge as it was in second floor it opened up to the open restaurant so we did not miss not having a balcony.
It was a 10-15 min walk to fort and main area. The service we had was amazing everyone from front desk to kitchen staff to the driver who dropped us back at the airport were top notch courteous.
We were a little early for check-in after our desert stay so we kept our luggage and took a walk when we returned we were given a choice of two rooms to pick up from and we chose the one on second floor. There was no lift which did not bother us.

Home away from home!! A calm, cute and cozy place amidst in the center of the Jaisalmer city. The USP of the place is Rajinder Singh ji and staff members who will make you feel warm and at home. The rooms are designed as per Jaisalmer heritage architecture with small sitting area near the window to enjoy hustle bustle of the city. Washrooms are neat and clean with adequate toiletries and hot water. It has a beautiful rooftop restaurant with comfortable sitting providing picturesque view of the Jaisalmer fort in the background. Menu is rich with Indian cuisine and english breakfast and smoothies in adequate quantity. I recommend this place for the hospitality, food and view in a budget price.

Thank You Pleasent Haveli for making the trip memorable!!

This hotel is located in an excellent location, its in the heart of the city. The room was brilliant and the roof top scenes were gorgeous. The service was awesome and the staff were very considerate and kind. They let us store our luggage after we checked out which helped us explore the city without any load of the luggage. The food was okay at the roof top. I would go somewhere else to try out the food but we had a pleasant stay at the pleasant haveli :) I recommend this place if you visit Jaisalmer.

Cheers.

It is a very neat & clean hotel with good rooms. Location wise considering Jaisalmer is a small city it is good. It has an amazing roof top restaurant. The restra gives you a nice view of the Fort. Hotel does have parking space, so in case you are travelling by your own vehicle it will be a good choice.

After having a couple of bad experiences in Indian hotels, the Pleasant Haveli came to give us the best experience of our trip. The hotel itself was so beautiful, the carvings and all the details made it a super cozy and nice place to go back to. The owner and the staff were the nicest people we had the pleasure of meeting, we mentioned how much we loved lassi and they gave us a private lesson on how they made their super delicious mix fruit lassi smoothie. My friends and I are somewhat digital nomads and while we visited the city during the day, we worked all night under the stars in their beautiful rooftop lounge with the fort as our background view. Our train out of Jaisalmer left at 3 am on a Sunday and they not only allowed us to stay in our room till our departure time (without charging us anything for that night!) but the owner also took us himself to the train station, helped us find our train and helped us carry our bags all the way to our cart. When I come back to india, I will definitely stay more in this marvelous city in this hotel that felt like our home on the road! (Plus, their desert safari is a must do that if it’s not in your bucket list, it should now!!!)

Pleasant Haveli couldn't have been more accomodating. First picking us up at the train station, let us store our bags and shower in a room even though we weren't going to stay there until the next night (went on camel safari), and dropped us off at the train station after our stay was over. The room was pretty large for 2 people, clean room and bathroom, bay window looking onto the street. There was a restaurant on the roof of the hotel with a great view and great food. Really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful city of Jaisalmer and the excellent Hotel Pleasant Haveli. It started with the hotel providing a free pick up from the railway station at 6am and finished with a free drop off at the bus station and them confirming for us which bus we needed to get on with the staff at the bus stand.
In between the staff at the front desk and especially in the rooftop restaurant couldn't have been more attentive and friendly, ensuring that we never wanted for anything. We had a deluxe room that was beautifully decorated, the only issues we had were some very short power and wifi outages which were an issue across Jaisalmer and not just the hotel, those of you who have travelled to India before know this is a common occurrence and the only surprise is how short they were.
I would highly recommend visiting both this city and hotel to family and friends and if we ever go back to Jaisalmar will definitely stay again.

The hotel is modern, but built on traditional lines. The architecture continues inside, it is not just a facade on a modern box.
The location is excellent, accessible by car but a short walk to the fort. Our room was spacious with a huge, confortable bed, enormous bathroom and great A/C. The room felt warm and cosy, not like a standard hotel at all.
What makes this hotel is the quality of the service. Everyone in this locally owned and staffed hotel is friendly, smiling, solicitous and professional.
Guides, transport and laundry were all organised quickly and easily.
Breakfast included on the roof terrace with fort views is enormous and tasty. We had to ask them not to serve the full included menu to avoid overeating!

Not on the floor I was on. I went with a group of friends in separate rooms. They had our rooms (two) next to each other, on the same floor, accessible via the same sort of balcony area. Best to check with the hotel though. They’re good with calls.
