We have been in this hotel for 2 nights and so far, it is the best accommodation I have stayed in all over India. All the amazing staff and very helpful and attentive. Its restaurant on the hotel terrace offers great views of "the Golden city", Jaisalmer. Very good value for money. I recommend it as the best option in Jaisalmer.
A really excellent and affordable stay - located just outside the fort with beautiful views of it from the rooftop restaurant. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the fort as well. The food at te restaurant was excellent; there are limited breakfast options but an extensive list of lunch/ dinner items. The room we stayed in was clean and well/decorated. It was on the smaller side but this wasn’t an issue for us. We coupled our stay with the camel safari offered by the hotel and it was excellent - I highly recommend it! You sleep under the open stars directly on cots on the dunes (not in tents). This wouldn’t suit someone who likes a little luxury but is perfect for anyone looking for a less touristy and unique experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay seamless, from a 4:30am complimentary pick up at the train station to options on what to see in the city. …
I had initially posted a review detailing an issue with the staff. The stay was pleasant, the rooftop restaurant is superbly comfortable, and the room is very nice — I just had an issue with a tour and checkout. I did not realize the owner was on leave and upon returning, personally contacted me to help resolve my matter. I really respect this gesture and would now fully recommend staying at this hotel. Location is also great.
The staff here were excellent and made our stay very comfortable. We had a ground floor room that provided plenty of space & comfort. Nice soft bed, good shower, fast internet, very clean and an excellent rooftop with great views of the fort. Well located and we felt very safe and well looked after
We stayed at the Hotel Pleasant Haveli for six nights. It is a beautiful hotel with great spacious rooms and very clean. There is a choice of terraces for relaxing and the restaurant run by Prem is fantastic. Loved the banana pancakes especially. There is a great team of staff at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. I would stay here again anytime.
A wonderful small hotel with attentive and helpful staff. The hotel has two floors of lovely and comfortable outdoor space which are perfect for relaxing morning, afternoon or evening. The charming rooftop restaurant has excellent views of the Golden Fort, which is easily walkable from the Pleasant Haveli. Rooms and hotel are all very well maintained and clean. Don’t miss the restaurant and Preem, it’s excellent, chatty, friendly chef who will cook anything you ask for and it will all be good. We generally go to a different restaurant every night but here we made the exception and had all our pleasant meals on the rooftop.
Very comfortable rooms, wonderful views from the terrace, excellent food (I would recommend Prem’s Biriyani especially) and above all the kindest staff I have had the pleasure of staying with in any hotel I have stayed in, India or otherwise. They could not do enough particularly when I was ill, twice accompanying me to the doctor and hospital. Lucky also gave us a tour of the city which was very interesting, non touristy and for free. The safari was perfect, we saw no one else the time we were there and slept under the stars. I cannot write highly enough about every aspect of this hotel.
We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Pleasant Haveli and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Throughout our stay, all the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We had to extend our stay because my boyfriend was ill, and we were given a more comfortable and spacious room to stay in and one of the staff members (Prem) took us to the doctors and pharmacy on two separate occasions. Another staff member (Lucky) showed us around the ancient streets of Jaipur and we shared chai with him at his favourite place. The receptionist Dilip was so friendly and made it clear from the start that if we wanted anything at all we were to ask. The staff described us as their family, and it really felt like that! We had a late bus the day we returned from the safari and they have a room dedicated to showering/keeping all your belongings and relaxing, which was great. The wifi is good. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. Everything was super clean. The location is also excellent, 10 minute walk to the fort and even closer walk to some restaurants and shops. It was super easy to organise the camel safari and desert trip with them, and that was a brilliant experience and was good value for money (2750 rupees per person for everything) The two guides on that were great. 10/10 place - would 100% recommend you stay here in Jaisalmer !…
We loved staying at Pleasant Haveli: great location and excellent value. Our room was very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant with good views and plenty of space at any time of the day or evening. The menu somewhat limited. The staff is attentive and kind. A great choice in Jaisalmer. All important sites are within walking distance.
The pleasant haveli is a lovely location and with friendly managers who have gone above and beyond to make our one night stay relaxing and comfortable. The roof top restaurant is a lovely addition to the place to spend an evening After a long day of travelling. Thank you so much.
