We arrived having made a reservation, the reception appeared to be confused. We were given a room that was dark and dirty with musty smelling bathroom. Sheets were not clean. We changed rooms. Still dirty and lights/plugs not working. Bed collapsed so changed rooms again. There was a drain running under our floor, could hear water running and also inspection hatch in the room. The hotel needs redecorating and updating. Better hotels by far in area. Relocated for the rest of our stay.

Stayed two nights in two different rooms. When we arrived our room was not even cleaned even though theres been lots of employees sitting around and doing nothing. Both rooms we were given were not really clean, sheets stained and even too small for the pillows, even the walls and floor have been dirty. Had a room for three and the third person had to sleep in a short and really uncomfortable spare bed. Worst of all is the bathroom with no windows and therefore smelly already when we moved in. Theres no shower curtain and you'll wet everything while showering. The electricity went off every ten minutes and therefore we had to shower with cold water the first day. We didn't go into the pool as the waters been so dirty. Everytime we told them which time we gonna leave in the morning but still we had to wake up the staff to get out. On the last day we booked a drop off and checked in the evening before but next morning no one was there and we had to wait again. Would not stay here again! Good things: close to the fort in walking distance and even to the lake restaurants around (cafe diner) Possibility to leave the luggage at reception when u go on a safari Staff were always friendly but really badly organised.

I've spent two days in Jaisalmer, one night of which in the Royale hotel. The premises are wide and comfortable, and they also have a nice terrace facing the fort. It is located outside the fort, which is in a walkable distance. It's perfect to avoid the chaos of the narrow hallways inside the fort. On top of all of this, Bohan the host is the most kind and helpful person you can ever wish. I was solo travelling and he took good care of me, helping me stay safe and also giving me very good advices on the best place to visit in the city. I would definitely go back to his place when I'm around again!

Stayed for two nights. The food was amazing room and amenities clean and beautiful. The staff however made it five stars being incredibly helpful at all times! We got upgraded free of charge to a really nice room. The current manager has just taken charge and has really taken the hospital under his wing!

The hotel was very good, and the people working were just really kind. Special thanks to Manoo (the boss ?) and Krishna who works on the roof top restaurant, from where we have a beautiful view. The first night our room 201 was to noisy as the restaurant is just above our heads ! We were changed to 206 and it was great. Thanks a lot. The hotel is very well located and clean, the rooms were rather big for 2 pers... Must improve the service on the rooftop restaurant ! Specially during breakfast. The service is a bit long before having our first cup of "Masala tea" Visited the "Celnotaphes" during a beautiful sunset and had a good evening in the town of "Khuri". Did'nt take camel riding but just 1 hour walk in the nearby "Thar "desert. Hope be there in 2020 and in 206 !

We booked 2 executive suites. The rooms are very comfortable and a royal kind. There is a roof top restaurant with a FORT view which is just fabulous. The Food served was best of its kind in Jaisalmer. The owners themselves (Anilji and Bhanuji) were also friendly and took good care of their guests.

We booked 2 Executive Suites. Apart from a hotel in Jaisalmer city, we booked a Desert camp safari *sand dunes) through this hotel. We found the Rooms very clean and a heritage kind of place to stay in. It also has a swimming pool. The foods served in break fast as well as in dinner is really fantastic and customized taste of ours. There is a very beautiful Roof Top restaurant with a FORT view, which looks really classy at night. The owners themselves (Anilji & Bhanuji) were really friendly and supportive.

We stayed here one night, the staff were so helpful and were able to early check in for us, which was much appreciated after a 12 hour night train. The room was very clean, and had lovely window seat in the room! Also a nice pool which we enjoyed. Also a lovely restaurant on the rooftop with lush views of the Jaisalmer fort! Definitely recommend.
