Highlight of our Rajasthan trip was Mamas, Brilliant tasty food, Extremely courteous staff including the reception. For a super delux villa was the accommodation was average, they need to focus on property maintenance especially rooms and lights. Camel safari is a nice experience.
Pros Jeep Safari was really enjoyable so was the camel safari. We also enjoyed their cultural programme. Near to the sand dunes. Cons The delux rooms are just average. Not so luxurious as we thought it to be. There was no non veg food in buffet. Before booking we were told that non veg will be available. That was a let down. Though the next day they made it available on request. If it's on request basis they should proactively ask during check in itself. Tea kettle was not working. Food was average. If you are traveling with small kids there will not be too many options as their food is spicy. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
Our stay in Mama's was wonderful. They served us really well and their food was honestly delish. Loved the cultural pogram. The rooms were very comfy and the bed and blanket were the best. Loved it over all. The staffs were very considerate and kind
this resort was the best in the area. the location is very nice and the welcoming was good too. you are welcomed with welcome drinks and ATG (arti, tika, garland). the rooms were nice keeping in mind that they were in the middle of a desert. there was issue with one of the bathrooms but the other was fine. the hot water service was amazing as in the chilling col, they provided us super hot water. there was a traditional rajasthani dance and singing program for the staying guests. they provide camel rice service to the sunset point and paragliding points in the desert. the food was good in terms of quality and quantity. some food was served during the night show and the buffet was set at their restaurant. the breakfast was good too. especially their garlic chutney. it was the best. they provided night jeep safari which was outstanding. the driver gives a ride through the desert and halts for star gazing. overall the experience was best and would definitely recommend this resort to future transversal tourists. …
Good desert camping experience. Enjoying the cultural program, folk dance and live music. The food was good. Tent was spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We did a night time dune bashing and star gazing trip. And we did a camel ride to the sand dunes in the morning for sunrise. Overall had a good experience.
We stayed in luxury Swiss tents. Tents were spacious with all basic amenities. There was a mesh covered verandah with easy rocking chairs and a low table - chauki with cushions. Bathrooms were also spacious. Extra quilts and heater was also provided. Staff was cooperative and friendly. Breakfast, tea time snacks and dinner was wide spread and very good. Camel safari was comfortable. Cultural evening well organized. On the whole great value for money.
Brought family here for a day excellent activities like camel riding which is realy fun and the cutral events after dinner are realy lively and great. The service there is wonderful and the food is too realy nice stay and realy recomend.
Excellent stay, service. The cultural show was very nice with great taste of folk songs and dances. Complimentary dinner and breakfast are reasonable. Helpful staff. One must know that this camp is situated in a remote village with minimal facilities. There are doctors available on demand and the resort owners have emergency services.
We went to desert safari through them. Went dune bashing in khuri with elderly parents and a toddler in an open 4x4 jeep. Yet it was safe and fun, driver was very good and accomodative. We returned after the sunset and were treated with hot tea, pakoras, French fries. Soon, the cultural program started, musical and folk dances that ended with all of us dancing around the bonfire under the star lit sky. It was quite an experience. The program wrapped up at 8 30 and dinner was served in the dining hall. Spread was huge (given that we were in a remote village). Food is predominantly Rajasthani (dal, baati, churma, kadhi, gatte, ker sangri and some north Indian dishes like palak paneer, okra, kheer). Food was delicious and not too spicy. Staff was courteous and helpful. They specially prepared khichdi (requested while booking) for my daughter. We did not stay the night at the camp, though the rooms looked clean, comfortable with all necessary amenities including an AC. Washroom was clean with proper WC and bathing area (much like any 3 star hotel).…
The experience was amazing. One of the best resort to visit, amazing food, cultural events, camal ride and night Jeep Safari was a thrilling experience one can ever experience. Just one tip- they can do better with cleanliness other than this everything was worth it.
