Our hotel earlier known as “Daudsar Dera” is designed in the traditional local style of architecture with Jharokhas, Jallis and Chowks, the Dera now known as HOTEL JASWANT BHAWAN was constructed in 1926 AD by Rao Bahadur Jaswant Singhji, last Prime Minster of former State of Bikaner, Member of Constituent Assembly of India and Provisional Parliament, first Leader of Opposition of Rajasthan Assembly, Member of Rajya Sabha. The Hotel Jaswant Bhawan is a very special place – calm, comfortable and beautiful – a magnificent reminder of a glorious past. The Hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms and a charming lounge with a good collection of old photographs.Our name has also appeared in the recent publication of Department of Tourism, Rajasthan known as Rajasthan a Royal Experience- The compendium of Palace and Heritage Hotels.

Nice old hotel, quite spacious rooms too. Helpful staff. No room service for food. They do have a kettle and tea-coffee material in the room. The staff is helpful. We had a short stay but did enjoy it.

I spent three nights here while sightseeing in Bikaner. The staff was very friendly and my room + bathroom were very clean. The hotel is a short walk to the railway station, which was a plus for me, as I arrived to and left from the city via train. Keep the close distance to the station in mind if you are a light sleeper. Indian trains blast their horns in the middle of the night, and while I was not disturbed I can see how some people would be.

We were travelling around India on motorbikes. We'd decided on Bikaner for the camel festival, and booked this hotel. We were glad that we had. It was a respite from the mayhem of Bikaner. The residence of the last Prime Minister of Bikaner and run by his descendants, there was a sense of pride in the history of the place. It was modest, elegant, and well-cared for. The staff and owners were kind and caring of their guests. The food in the attached restaurant was fantastic...really fantastic. The food we had here was some of the best in India. Many thanks for a memorable stay in India.

We landed up at this hotel at the last minute, looking for a decent overnight halt. We were absolutely pleasently surprised when we reached the property! Approach to the hotel was a bit dicey as it's in the middle of town and next to railway station. But once you are inside, noise just goes away

Best experience i have ever had.... behavior of staff was so familiar . Rooms and bathrooms were clean. They also have a restaurant inside to have your meels.Quit , neat and clean place to stay. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family.

It was a surprise to enter Jaswant palace from the busy railway station street to a serene, beautiful hotel. The owner and his family were very courteous and deeply invested in making our stay comfortable.

We were promised a GST invoice by the hotel. But they did not provide it. The hotel is collecting GST from customers and not providing an invoice for it. Since a katcha bill was given, in all probability the hotel must not be depositing GST either.

We friends were looking for a place to stay in Bikaner. We stumbled upon this place and loved the vintage experience this property offers. We then decided to book this property. Mr Mohan Singh Rahore was very helpful. He recommended us a lot of places which we couldn't have found otherwise.

We arrived early in Bikaner by overnight train and had previously asked the hotel if it was possible to leave our bags there so we could do a bit of sightseeing and check in later. When we arrived the room was ready for us, (at 7.00am)! and we were able to check in early and have a shower and freshen up before going out for the day, at no extra charge. The room was big and spotlessly clean and the owner was very hospitable and helpful. There is also a very good restaurant on the premises. It is a real oasis of calm and tranquility considering it's central location, right next to the train station slap bang in the middle of Bikaner ...

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by very helpful staff, the room was spacious and well appointed. The next day the staff helped us arrange for a tour guide of the area at a very reasonable price. The 2 onsite mascots "Dollar" & "Oscar" were the cutist pugs we saw in all of India. The property is safe and secure and the onsite restaurant serves excellent food. The closeness to the Rail station means you will save on transportation as well!!
