We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by very helpful staff, the room was spacious and well appointed. The next day the staff helped us arrange for a tour guide of the area at a very reasonable price. The 2 onsite mascots "Dollar" & "Oscar" were the cutist pugs we saw in all of India. The property is safe and secure and the onsite restaurant serves excellent food. The closeness to the Rail station means you will save on transportation as well!!

The hotel did not provide basic amenities like electric kettle and tea coffee sachets which were a part of the room we booked. Upon requesting for the same hotel staff straightaway denied saying that they don't provide those facilities if the room is booked online and would have been provided if the room was booked directly through the hotel. I have never come across such a thing where a room amenity was denied only because the room was booked online. Whenever we book a room online it shows the room category and its photos, so the hotel has to provide all the amenities attached along with that room. The TV wasn't working properly as well. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable. The hotel was not even well kept, was old and highly in demand of renovation. I booked the hotel for my parents and their friends all of whom are senior citizens and they had to check out without tea or coffee in the morning as there was no kettle and the hotel restaurant was not open till then. Such a bad hospitality. Even home-stays nowadays provide electric kettle in the room. This wasn't expected from such an old hotel with 4+ rating on trip advisor. All online portals should be aware of these hotels which discourage booking online through such cheap tactics.

We booked this while on the road heading to Bikaner and it is a gem of a place. Even though it is located not far from the railway station and market it is an oasis of calm and noise free. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a large ensuite shower room and hot water shower. We had a warm welcome from the owners wife and two friendly Pugs, little black barrels of fun who rushed around. The food is exceptional, as everything is cooked from scratch it might be an idea to put your order in a little ahead of when you want to eat, the dining room is comfortable. There are some fascinating family photographs of a by gone age hanging on the walls that are well worth taking time to look at and do if you can have a chat with the owner Mr Singh, he, his wife and staff go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a happy one. We can highly recommend this accomodation.

We spent the last 3 days of Dec 2019 in this hotel which has left us with a memorable experience of personal hospitality. Though located near the railway station and the main market, it is noise and crowd free. Its heritage of nobility is vividly displayed by the numerous photographs of the gone by times hanging in the small reception, the dining room and the guest rooms which take you back to those times. We were allotted a room with an extra bed for 3 of us on the first floor near the open roof. The room was neat and cozy with clean linen. Bathroom was spacious, clean, with a geyser, and clean towels. The dining room served foods cooked to individual tastes. All staff, supervised by the owner, are well trained. Adequate parking space. Finally, 2 lovely and friendly jet black pugs of the owner, frolicking all over the place keep your gaze fixed on them.

Excellent property with very good maintenance despite of aging building Pros - neat and very clean rooms - heart of the city walking distance to fort - feels like family stay as property is managed by family. And managed really well - good food with sparkling crockery in old world setting - walking distance from main market. Bikaji haldiram etc - very sweet help named Prakash Cons - no room service ( couldn't understand the logic) - very basic toiletries Overall good stay and very hospitable management
