Almost everything in this hotel looks outdated. Bathroom, AC and interiors especially. One good thing is they satisfied me with their service. But justice has not been done overall for the amount I paid them
Worst hotel of the century. I would request to not choose this hotel. This hotel management tries to loot you. Let me share my case We were three families and checked in at 7 pm in night. Hotel management asks us for 1550 per room including taxes for double occupancy with ac room. We booked three rooms and then trouble starts. Out of three, two rooms ac were not working whole night and management says its electrical fault and you have to bear with this. One room were on their third floor and there was knocking and room bell ringing in night at about 1 am. When asked who is that without opening room door... someone said i came to deliver towel...who require towel at 1 am... something fishy here Then lights went out for 2 hours And final at the time of checkout they added wrong food bill which was supposed to ve complimentary. After much fight and waste of our time, we managed to get that bill rectified and they even accepted their mistake and apologised. Even during our checkout one other person was fighting due to charging of rs 250 for 5 min of local call from their landline. Its complete waste of time and money if someone Choose this hotel...my personal view.…
Located near railway station. Interior of rooms is old type. Toilet are not maintained properly. Complementary breakfast is available but u can choose only one menu. Staff is cooperative. Rooms are clean.

Spend a couple of weeks in Bhubaneswar working and touring. I stayed at the Sambit Royale and I have no other words than excellent for this place. Those who leave bad reviews expecting something other from what they booked ought not to leave a review. This hotel is excellently managed, the General Manager is amazing, the food tasty, the rooms completely fine. I will definitely come back!
Went there in January 2017 for a one-night stay. Checked out 3 rooms one after the other. Each room had cockroaches. The first one also had a bed bug under the bed-sheet. Was discomforting enough to make me move out of the property immediately. Luckily, there were plenty of properties around to pick from.
This is a poorly maintained hotel suitable for travellers who are on a tight budget, or those like me who have odd timings. For me that was the main reason for staying here, I could check-in early morning and leave the next morning. Plus they have a free pickup service from station, no drop off though. I had an early morning flight and the reception guy had kindly arranged an auto to come at 4am. But there was no sign of the auto in the morning and I hadn't taken his number. Fortunately, Uber was available and came within 10mins, and turned out to be much cheaper. Regarding the room, it was reasonably clean but things were worn out. The bathroom was just about tolerable. I was woken up early morning by a roach crawling up my leg. Pretty good alarm service! Complimentary breakfast was ok, you could choose just one item though.…
The interior of the hotel little old.Staffs are good .Room service takes time for everything.Toilets are not well maintained.Breakfast was free but not upto mark.Price of food are ok but taste need to be increase. Corridor always having noise .Overall decent stay for solo passengers .
After staying in the hotel Sambit Palace for 1 night, I didn't got room for the next day as it was full. So I booked a Deluxe room in Hotel Sambit Royale. This hotel is from the same owner. The hotel is probably a bit older than Sambit Palace. Rooms are bigger , has a split AC, tea, coffe facility and you got a mini bar too in the room which has snacks, Cold drinks etc. The hotel is just 1 min away form Sambit palace hotel. Only thing I didn't like here was the lift, its very old and sometimes doesn't work too. So better get a room in lower floors. yes this hotel has Free wifi.
The main reason for selecting this hotel was the 24 hour checkout facility, which fitted perfectly with our itinerary of arriving and leaving late in the evening. The other reason was the available triple bedded AC room at a very low cost after the discount. The room was reasonably large, but it didn't look like cleanliness or maintenance was a priority for the management. The furnishings, fittings and linen were well worn and really set the downmarket tone for the place. While all the amenities were present, including a large lobby, everything looked shoddy. Also keep a note of what is in the fridge when you first enter the room, if you don't want a dispute with the staff at checkout. Complimentary breakfast was served in the room and was simply oily puri and sabji. We didn't ask for room service or visit the restaurant as the prices looked too high. WiFi was available but Internet speed was not so good. The place is a bit difficult to find without a map, as it is at the end of a dirt lane, among a jumble of similar lanes, just behind the railway station. To reach the station, you still have to go out to the main road, but it is quite near, maybe 2 km. On the plus side, once you get the hang of the lanes, it is within walking distance of the main shopping centers of the city. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. So if you can overlook all the cons, and consider the low cost, it is a reasonably convenient hotel. Stay here only if you get a discount and need 24 hour checkout.…
