Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Location : Within few kms of Airport and well connected. Can avail Ola/Uber/Auto to arrive here. Right on main road and visible from a distance. So might not be problem to locate it.
Looks : Indeed very good looking and gives a luxury feel. Well decorated and front desk welcoming you with a smile. Get your free Wi-Fi access ID and Password (it changes every day). Rooms are pretty spacious and well decorated. And so is the bathroom. In case you need running hot water get it checked if it's running.
Service : The biggest drawback in this good looking hotel is it's room service staff which are suppose to take care of the room cleanliness and amenities therein. Tea maker was missing. When pointed out was given with a very dirty and stained one, which again have to be washed and cleaned before use. Rooms are bit damp and patch work visible (Room 409) which then have a very damp smell in the room and have to ask for room fresher every time opened the room at the end of day.
Breakfast : Complementary breakfast with very little variety in menu. 2/3 type of fruits, puri/partha, one type of sabji, bread, butter/jam/jelly, cake, tea/coffee
Conclusion : Services are not up to the mark/standard expected against the room rent charged for the "luxury" tag. Will surely look out for a different hotel in my next stay.
Note : Just in case you are planning to saty here, avoid rooms that are beside the lifts and emergency fire exit stairs. Lifts are very noisy could ruin your sleep. Same for the emergency fire exit stairs which is just in front of window. And, main lifts tend to not working at times, so be prepared to take stairs or might have to look for service lift.

Its a nice hotel with neat & clean rooms. Staff were polite. Situated just beside the highway but in no way disturbing. Food served is OK but pricey . Furnishing of the rooms were good with clean bathrooms. But don't know why its not that popular always vacant. You can try it for 2100-2400 range.

We stayed on night at this hotel . Compared to hotels in similar range this hotel is very spacious well located for prime locations .
We found the rooms very very spacious and clean. Good for double and triple occupancy . Cost us 2500 plus taxes wish buffet breakfast for two of us . Being bagpackers for us this was surely luxury stay. Also well located in the Kolkata chennai highway and close from good market areas and restaurants.
The rooms and washrooms were very clean and service was quiet prompt.
Surely recommend the place for both ranjit and business stays.

Very poor and tired hotel. Very basic and old and not worth the price they are charging. The only thing nice about the hotel was the cleanliness. It was clean but other than that there is nothing going for this hotel. The staff is very poorly trained. The restaurant is very sad. I think the owners are just running it for the sake of running it. The location is good about a 10 minute walk to hotel pal heights and a 20 minute walk to Ekamra Park.

I stayed overnight in this hotel on my way back from kolkata to Bangalore. The hotel view from outside is huge and welcoming but, the fun is when you stay over night. No good staff to welcome you, listen to your problems. Whether a room service or at the restaurant, their service is so so SLOW... They served me rotten and foul smelled Chilly chicken and refused to refund me the money. They did not offer me a freshly cooked same dish, instead as a consolation they offered me 15% discount on the same rotten food. Never even think of this hotel, not recommended for a family, couple or solo.

i stayed for a day on 26.08.2014 Room was good with necessary amenities but lacks due to elevator problem, room cleanliness with pests like Red Ants. Food is good but staff is least concerned about guests. house keeping staff and pantry staff are not at all to care for services. need more exercise to set right the hotel.

I stayed in the hotel twice. I must say that hotel has all the good infrastructure, good ambiance (though it doesn't look good from outside). Staff is cooperative. Service is not good. Restaurant food quality is good but only 10% of items from the menu are available. One free suggestion: Please open up the restaurant for general public (not only for hotel guests) and make it fully functional. make the full menu available. then only I will think of staying back in the hotel. Or else there many other good hotels

This hotel has absolutely no ambition in life. It was bulk booked for a wedding I went for and stayed there as it was the default accommodation for all the wedding guests.... Very pedestrian, absolutely no pretences about wanting to a good hotel.... It sure was clean. Food was mediocre and service quality was not part of the hotel's charter ... Not a place I would stay on my own.... Its clean and felt safe are the only good things I can say about it...

The front desk people were very young and they dont bother how to treat a guest. I was alloted room with twin bed; whereas I requested for a king size bed. They didnt bother to change my room for next 3 days and simply gave a vague answer that hotel is fully occupied. Location is OK, food quality decent, cleanliness can be improved, room size good. Overall an average experience.
