Very warm and efficient team and qualitative food. The rooms are well appointed and well maintained. Special kudos to front office team at check out Vineet, housekeeping star Pranith and engineering leader Rajkumar.

The hotel is brand new & everything is fabulous😀. My room was spacious and well equipped with all the gadgets. I liked the design of the room which was divided into separate spaces for working, eating, watching tv, enjoying the views of the city😀. The Flat screen TV is equipped with all modern entertainment including all the hotel services & tracking your bill 🤣. From day 1 of my stay the in room dining of the Hotel was exceptional 👍, I enjoyed the different cuisines from Asian to Continental to Indian and local cuisine were amazing, delicious and quick service too😀👍 Big thank you to Siddharth who took great care of the food, beverages and provided an excellent service, a great asset to the hotel👍. Do try the vegetarian walnut muffin they are yummy😋.
The laundry service was quick & excellent :-)
Housekeeping staff were friendly, highly professional & very polite.
Thank you to Priyanka for being so proactive, warm & and taking care of every little thing before I could even complete my request🙏👏

The hotel stay was really comfortable and excellent. We stayed here for a week owning to the current covid restrictions. We experienced great hospitality, service, excellent quality food and timely issue resolution. The chef took the opportunity to offer food per our taste. Overall we are highly appreciative of the staff - do ask for help from - Vishal, Purna, Yashwant, Akshata, and Sonam for anything you need when you come for food. Chefs - Tushar and Animesh were very keen to customise the food for us (low spice and suited our taste + phulka). Santosh and Satya ensured we enjoyed the buffet each time we came. Housekeeping staff was also very coorperative and helped us when we needed! We will for sure visit again.

ITC Welcome hotel listing on the internet is indeed good and appears to be a great place even from the entrance. While the reception staff are pretty good at handling check in formalities, there are a list of things that still need to be improved for this hotel to do justice to the ITC brand name it holds. First of the staff are very irresponsive, few examples - ask for a shaving kit and they take 45 min to give you one, order for tea and it takes more than an hour to get to you, they readily nod on the phone but are really bad at keeping up time of service. The travel desk experience was indeed a horrible one. They confirmed a booking for an Innova for sightseeing the next day. But surprisingly for us, we ended up with the staff saying that they did not arrange the vehicle since they did not have the reservation at all! This was indeed ridiculous and not expected. We had to wait for 2 hours in the lobby and finally had to cancel our plans for the day and shift this to the next day just because the staff faltered their hand offs to the staff on shift! Next comes the case of missing toiletries, we booked two rooms, while one had all the necessary toiletries in place, we had to call multiple times and request for even dental kit to be placed in the other room and this was indeed quite annoying given the amount they charge for the rooms. Food here is a mixed bag. Order local dishes and you cannot just eat them, they are made very oily and rotis are a big NO. We ordered tea and what we drank was god knows what. The milk or the masala added to it was spoilt and we had to request for a change. This again took another 45 min! The hotel was over booked over the weekend and the staff was simply unable and unequipped to manage the crowd. We had no tables to be seated at, the orders for omelettes and dosas never came to the table, the food refill did not happen even though we made it well in time for breakfast quite early in the morning. Had it been a normal 2 or 3 star I would not be writing this detailed review, but having stayed at ITC properties before, I can only say it was the most unpleasant experience we had. We stayed for 4 nights and it was such a sorry experience! I would however like to mention Mr Vineet, the duty manager, who was willingly available on his phone even, to make sure we did not face too many challenges during our stay. My sincere thanks to him. If not for his efforts, on getting us a vehicle for sightseeing, or for ensuring we were well taken care of, I would have definitely checked out and moved on to some other hotel in bhubaneshwar. ITC Welcome hotel Bhubanehswar, you have the brand name, you have staff who are well groomed, but please put these too good use, else I am afraid this would eventually turn out to be a nightmare for those wanting a peaceful vacation.

Was here for lunch with few friends yesterday. On occasion of Christmas, the restaurant was having a special buffet system with a bit higher rate as compared to the normal days.
As far as quality and taste of food is concerned, it was awesome. The choices for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians were plenty. Couldn’t even try few of the dishes. Starters, main course and deserts, all were very nice. There was barbecue as well. Staff were very well behaved.

This is a good hotel. The Peshwari Restaurant, while expensive, serves truly memorable food which we enjoyed for Christmas dinner. The coffee shop serves a lovely breakfast. The service at the bar, though, was terrible and the individual tending bar (and also running the cafe at the time we stopped in), was actually quite rude to my husband. We did not go back. And we had problems with the front desk forgetting requests. Example: House keeping failed to refill the toilet paper and we asked for some at the desk and they said they would send some up. but we did not get it and had to ask twice. They said they "forgot". So I'd say up your game in the service department and you will truly be a great hotel.

We had planned our Puri visit from Kolkata and I must say this is the best hotel I have stayed so far in Bhubaneswar much better than Vivanta. Me and my wife had a two days stay at the hotel en route to Kolkata and it was a wonderful experience. The room had a great view of the city and the sky. Also the ambience and decor of the room is soothing to the senses.All the necessary amenities were either present in the room or provided promptly on request. The most important aspect to mention was the food and the service. The buffet breakfast spread was awesome. Behind all the experience is the awesome staff of the hotel. I would like to specially mention the names of Sumanta , Bhawana and Nammrata who were always present at the Welcome Cafe to help us with their smiles. They would try their best to make our dining experience memorable. I would also like to mention Rajesh from housekeeping and Dharma from the Welcome Cafe who had promptly helped us with our requests.Overall it was a very delightful experience for us enabled by the great staff at WelcomeHotel Bhubaneswar. I would recommend the hotel who is looking for a wholesome experience in lodging and dining.
