PAL heights maybe an old hotel but the decor and facilities more than make up for the wear and tear that happens with time. I had an early morning check-in (5 AM) which was smooth & hassle free. The attendants were extremely cordial and even replenished the water bottles at that hour of the day. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is very close to Jaydev Vihar and right next to a mall which helps if you want to buy some essentials or want to have food in joints like KFC, Burger King etc. The room was huge, much bigger than what you can expect in a Marriott or Taj hotel. Breakfast was adequate, the menu seemed to remain the same for all 3 days which is an improvement area. Overall, a very pleasant stay at PAL Heights.

Good service by everyone at the hotel and their follow up system is good as well. The staff takes regular updates and one of the staff members Pooja Rani Jeena has an exceptional work ethics. They are polite, easy going and available all the time to help you with your stay needs. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Good location and great connectivity from the airport as well.

Stayed in Pal Heights for 4 nights.10 people in 5 rooms.Rooms are spacious. As the toilets are at the door a stench was felt in some rooms. A similar pungent smell was in the corridor leading to the roof top restaurant. One room, 315,had two cockroaches. One day took a presidential suit. There was a rat in a bath room. Room service, laundry and bath room cleaning were good.Pal does not qualify for a second visit.

We stayed for one night. Check in was very slow and boring. We payed for extra bed but the hotel provided only a mattress on the floor. The room was average. Housekeeping staffs were not professional and toiletries were below standard for a claimed Four Star Hotel. Breakfast was decent and the open air restaurant was good. Reception was managed by only one staff and it took almost 30 minutes for check out.

I tried to book 8 room nights, but even after I gave my email address to the receptionist, he never sent a confirmation mail along with the other details, I then contacted their general manager, who was good with his words it now seems, but never bothered to actually follow up, someone contacted me after 2 days, but by then, I had already booked elsewhere, In hindsight, I consider all this lucky, for if this is their pre stay service, what can be expected once you check in

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. AC did not work well. What saved us was the dusty ceiling fan. Wi-Fi is very spotty. Dust in corners and baseboards, dusty faux flowers in bathroom, rust in the shower, mold on the curtain in between the shower and window, old and worn out fixtures and furniture. Walls are dirty and need a good paint job. Roof top isn’t too bad, but restaurant could use a makeover. Mall is in rough shape too. Our friend from there booked the room for our 6 day stay because at one point it was nice. We couldn’t take it anymore after day 4 and checked out early and booked a beautiful hotel nearby.

We stayed here as a nine-member family (ages 18 to 75). The hotel is centrally located and within 15 minutes drive from the major tourist spots. The lobby is beautiful and huge with very comfortable sofas. It was the first time I stayed in a windowless room. It felt weird and a bit uncomfortable because we are usually used to looking around the hotel room and then going straight to the window to check out the view. Of course, we had chosen it ourselves because windowless rooms were cheaper, but it was the first time I saw a hotel offering this type of a room. Then we realised why. The entire hotel occupies the back half of a mall so windows are only possible in the rooms in the back of the building, not those sharing the walls with the mall. We also had two upgraded rooms with windows but their windows also looked into the interior of the mall.😄 However, the rooms were large and the interiors fairly luxurious (3-star quality). And we returned only to sleep at night so it was okay. We overslept the first morning—we are used to being awakened by the morning sunlight through the room window, and this room was pitch dark with all the lights turned off. The bedding and linen was clean and comfortable. The restroom and shower was quite posh with all the usual amenities and toiletries. They switched off the hot water at night but turned it on on request. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The food was delicious and the restaurants Breeze and Zaika were nice as well. We did not visit the bar, DJ-club and spa. The hotel seems ideal for conferences and meetings as they have several halls. But I would also recommend it for families for a couple of days' stay.

I don't typically post reviews, but I am forced to post because my recent experience was so bad. Indecent and rude front office staff. They would call you at any hour, unsolicited and speak in a condescending manner that is absolutely humiliating. They lack courtesy and training to provide proper customer service. It appears if the guest is in shorts and slippers, they get less respect and attention than if properly suited/booted. Unclean and poorly maintained rooms and hotel infrastructure. My room's corridor wasn't swept for the whole 5 days I was there, dirt piling up with every passing day. The shower door came off and nearly pinned me down. Leakage from shower stall runs everywhere in the bathroom causing slipping hazard. Mosquitos everywhere in a 4-star hotel facility, including guest rooms, sucking blood every minute of the day. Air conditioning went out for one whole night, leading to lost sleep and nothing was recompensed. The one star I have is for the redeeming behavior of the restaurant staff (all three restaurants), who acknowledge the management issues/indifference but have no say in the matter.
