Things got off to a poor start - it took a while for the front desk staff to find the reservation though Mr Viswanath Singh was aware of my arriving, the window overlooked the interior of the adjacent hotel thus had to keep the curtains drawn, and the wifi and safe did not work. After the first night I was relocated and things were much better - comfortable, spacious room, quiet, things in working order. The staff were most receptive in trying to make things right. They were also friendly, professional, and courteous. The breakfast spread was nice and fresh with both pre-made and to order items. The hotel is typical of those of this caliber in India, having all that you could need but showing signs of wear. Overall however it is a good place to stay and priced right if you prefer value and comfort over luxury.

Hotel Pal Heights is one of the good hotel in Bhubaneshwar to stay during pandemic COVID19. Hotel is taking utmost care with all disposable materials which is once used by the guest is advice to take it along with guest or else they destroy it after checkout. This is what is required in pandemic COVID19.
The service is extremely good even in lockdown also. I prefer and refer Hotel Pal Heights.

Good food. Very helpful staff. Front desk staff went out of way to help us get transportation to Airport and gave personal attention to all details. Taste of food was authentic and several local delicacies were available. Breakfast spread was also good. Recommended

Had booked the presidential suite for 2 days. The wait & service staff is very helpful & nice. The breakfast spread is pretty awesome too. Cant say the same about the extremely arrogant night Receptionist, specifically name - Tapas. Neither did Tapas let us know of the wifi password, simply just handed us an envelope and wished us a good stay. I do not think it's a lil too much to ask for a lil more care if someone is booking the presidential suite. Asked him a couple questions & he answered them as if we owed him our existence in the world. The hotel management needs to look into him. The television has not worked for both the days and no English channels whatsoever. It's very surprising that English channels on the television are not available in a room that costs 10k a night (i can be liberal with saying that will be the monthly salaries for majority people in the state).

The reception area and entrance are impressive enough and you feel that you have value for money. But the rooms reveal the antiquity of the property. There are patches of peeling paint and places where the damp has crept in. My room had a window that looked into the interior of a busy mall so I had to keep the curtains closed continuously to ensure privacy. Breakfast was ok. The food was a bit overpriced for the quality given. The entrance to the restaurant was pretty odd, making it seem like an unauthorised construction, with a very low doorway and low ceiling eating area. Overall a disappointing experience.

Spoiled my valentine's Day .Everthing closed from restaurant to club and room service only till 10.30.
They are very unpredictable ,couples do not stay here,they do not value their own words.
Lacks staff ,seems to me a cheap rate hotel .
We arrived at 2.45 PM and checkin was delayed due to unavailabilty.After 30 Mins they gave us room which was not very neat and clean.In hurry they provided room.
People often book this hotel for parties and marriage .You will feel noise every time.
It was 14th Feb and they closed their Club and Restaurant because of shortage of Staff.
We booked this hotel only for clubbing after asking manager especially prior booking.
Suddenly they closed everything from club to restaurant .
They are very Unpredictable.It is hoghly priced but cheap hotel.Staffs are not very well spoken.
Later at night before 10.30 we placed room service order,after 10.30 they did not take any food order.
I am amazed who gave them 4 star rating.This hotel does not deserve 3 star also,it a trap.
Morning complementry Breakfast was not delcious ,very few items and staff their were unpolite"Sir khud se lelo sab laga hua hai".
Online ratings are trap ,do not follow them.
Current scenerio of this hotel is Pathetic.
You will find word less to write review .
Never Stay Here .Extremly over rated.You will regret for sure.
Pal mall and club and restaurants are just overrated.
Mall is empty all the time.

I had a horrible experience along with a wonderful one, both chasing each other. One good thing- they offer a complimentary bed tea. I requested that I want it in afternoon and not the morning . Refusal turning into quick approval upon escalation. TV wasn’t working perfectly. Three reminders to front desk manger, the general manager didn’t help at all. four hours later shift changed and a junior team resolved the issue in no time. They quickly upgraded the room in the night itself although I insisted that I shall change the room in the morning to save wastage of resources. The night clerk clarified that since the bookings are heavy we shouldn’t take a chance. The restaurant Zaika was a horrible experience. I ordered fried masala papad and he served roasted. When I pointed out he took it to the kitchen and simply applied oil on the papad instead of frying the same, and served the same. When pointed out he refused to accept. In short, a forgettable stay with some exceptional individuals

Check in was smooth and fast, food was tasty and worth of price. Reception staffs were very professional during check in and same at check out also.
best thing about the hotel is it is located in the heart of the Bhubaneswar. morning breakfast was tasty.
Overall i loved the stay and surely going to be back soon. Keep up the good work.

We stayed here as a nine-member family (ages 18 to 75). The hotel is centrally located and within 15 minutes drive from the major tourist spots. The lobby is beautiful and huge with very comfortable sofas.
It was the first time I stayed in a windowless room. It felt weird and a bit uncomfortable because we are usually used to looking around the hotel room and then going straight to the window to check out the view.
Of course, we had chosen it ourselves because windowless rooms were cheaper, but it was the first time I saw a hotel offering this type of a room. Then we realised why. The entire hotel occupies the back half of a mall so windows are only possible in the rooms in the back of the building, not those sharing the walls with the mall.
We also had two upgraded rooms with windows but their windows also looked into the interior of the mall.😄
However, the rooms were large and the interiors fairly luxurious (3-star quality). And we returned only to sleep at night so it was okay. We overslept the first morning—we are used to being awakened by the morning sunlight through the room window, and this room was pitch dark with all the lights turned off.
The bedding and linen was clean and comfortable. The restroom and shower was quite posh with all the usual amenities and toiletries. They switched off the hot water at night but turned it on on request.
The staff was very helpful and courteous. The food was delicious and the restaurants Breeze and Zaika were nice as well. We did not visit the bar, DJ-club and spa.
The hotel seems ideal for conferences and meetings as they have several halls. But I would also recommend it for families for a couple of days' stay.

I had relocated with my family to Bhubaneswar and had stayed in Pal heights for 13 days. Must say our stay was awesome moving out with family during relocation is always a stressful job. We never felt that we are in a hotel it was like living in a home away from home.
Ambience is beautiful with cleanliness all around. View for hotel was mesmerizing.
Hotel staff right from entry gate to reception was very much co-operative. Ms Mamali, Ms. Samita and Mr. Gomes were very much co-operative and assisted in every way possible.
We were surprised and delighted by their complementary services each evening with mix of mocktails and coconut water, even there were chocolates for children too.
Food was awesome and we recommend everyone to have it here in Breeze restaurant of Pal heights.
Coming to support staff like house keeping and room services people were on toes and immediately attended the calls.
At the end I personally recommend everyone to have a stay in Pal heights for sure whenever a visit to Bhubaneswar is in plan.

Yes, we have suite room with minibar includes non-alcoholic items. Our most of rooms are non-smoking looking to the majority of non-smoker guest but on request and availability normal smoking rooms are there. There are designated areas for smoking.
