I had a confirmed booking at The President Hotel, Pune ("FabHotel Prime The President" is shown in Booking.com) and I was asked to make an advance payment as well which I did. On arrival at the hotel, I was asked to pay an additional amount of 830/- to be paid by the hotel staff before i was allowed to check-in to the hotel. Apparently hotel wants 2800/- for the hotel room whereas I was shown a price of 1968/- at the time of booking. There is some issue with the FabHotels website, Booking.com and actual Hotels. My repeated request to talk Hotel Manager was not addressed. Breakfast was pathetic. The whole hotel is very old, plywood and fitting are falling apart, smelly. Since we had to just spend the night, we decided to tolerate it and not to move another hotel in the pathetic Pune traffic. I had issue two Fab Hotels with a week; the other was in Nashik (Hotel name - Sapphire Studio). I am not going to book any FabHotel from now on. I strongly recommend others to do the same. I was staying at President last week for 3 days as my friend had made bookings in the hotel for a 3 day marriage function to my surprise my gold earrings got stolen from my bad and also my friends moms expensive footwear got stolen. Whoever plans a stay here please do not leave your valuables in the room as ours were stolen.😡

The bedding seemed dirty and the bottom sheet only covered half of the bare mattress underneath. The walls were marked up as well. Breakfast was good, and staff was nice, but I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful ambiance of the Hotel and specially the restaurant. Amazing Maharashtra Cousin. Excellent customer service and have tried several times while i was in Pune. Must visit. its known for traditions marathi food.

My landing time in Mumbai was 8-45 p.m. and I was to go straight to Pune. However, my flight landed about an hour after the scheduled time. Then came the annoyance on the road. Right from Panvel up to Lonavala, all the three lanes were occupied by heavy trucks. It is an expressway where the third lane is assigned to heavy vehicles and during my last visits, which were during day time, I found the rule followed. But this time, at night, it was a horrible experience. There were highway police posts also and I don't know why they were there for. We reached the hotel at about 2-30 am and found that there were people to open the gate and at the reception who promptly checked us in. Quite a service at that hour of the night! The hotel is very good, markets are nearby and easily accessible on foot. Hotel staff are nice and room service is good. A nice hotel I would say.…

Smelly rooms ( moulds everywhere), horrible lifts, confused and non co operative staff, ok food , old infrastructure. The only good part is location and quite neighborhood. Stayed for 2 nights. Better options available nearby

Although being in city center, this is really a quite place . Food quality is very good. We had gone to meet our son who studies at ILS ( which is quite close to the hotel ). Since I had good experience, Next time, I intend to stay there again .

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 9th June 18. We had booked Executive Room through Yatra .com. At reception we showed our booking confirmation and specifically stated our booking is for Executive room and not standard. We were allotted 401 which we did not like and asked specifically to Mr. Nitin at reception if that was an Executive room he tried to skirt the question stating that only difference is type of TV, after much insistence we were shown an Executive room which was far better and different. Finally an Executive room was allotted to us after much waiting. This attitude of allotting an inferior room when we had fully paid for Executive room is deplorable. The room was OK and food nice.

Also having supermarket and ATM at short walk. Rooms were clean and spacious, bed was comfy and room had all amenities. Cleanliness was top priority. Breakfast was also good.
