Had a great time at Parashar. Manoj and his team are fabulous hosts and ensured our stay was excellent. Manoj had arranged great excursions to a nearby scenic lake and a nearby grassland’s where we got a chance to spot a herd of blackbuck and deers. On the way we also spotted a fox. Throughout our stay we had some awesome traditional maharashtrian food and snacks. Manoj’s knowledge on the local flora and fauna is great and really loved this concept of Agri Tourism.

We always love to stay at farm stays and this was one of the best stays. Manoj is a great host who gave us warm welcome with Marathi caps. We had another special friend Chhotu (pet dog) who accompanied us everywhere. After taking some rest, Manoj took us for farm visit and told us facts about botany of banana trees and grapevine and many more things about farming and nature. We were served local marathi food and it was a pleasure to have it. Then we went for trip to another farm which was at a distance and there we saw tall elephant grass, farming of various pulses, beans, bitter gourd, brinjal, custard apple, bottle gourd etc. They also have poultry farm over there . After that we went to a water reservoir which was located inside the forest, the water was very clear. The site was surrounded by hills and tress all over. In the evening, Manoj also arranged projector to show us a short inspirational story " Chalo Jeete Hai " based on an act written by Narendra Modi in childhood. Next day morning, we went for walking on the roadside and there we enjoyed the beautiful landscapes with sunrise. Food was awesome all the time prepared by locals in basic traditional kitchen. Rooms were made out of bamboo, grass & cow dung. Sound can pass to another room so be cautious while having any discussion in the room. Overall it was a great experience full of nature & various leanings.

we had one night stay,2day stay Mr. Manoj and Namrata are wonderful humanbeing. They give you best treatment as family. You can stay in cottage/huts with 250sparrows chirpping nearby. Their pet chotu is awesome , very friendly. Manoj ji tries to give his 100% to comfort you and make it the most memorable trip. The farm trips with goats cows and homemade food on clay chulya adds more fun to it. You will experience yourself a divine visit and at peace. A must have visit to all. That mithi khusboo , village food , farm visit all are so so awesome .😊

We were a group of 20 people (seven families of cousins) who visited Parashar Agritourism for a 3N-4D trip during the Christmas weekend in Dec 2018. While trying to find resorts/hotels that could give us a unique experience at a reasonable cost (considering the obscene rates that hotels charge during Christmas and New Year), we stumbled upon this concept and this place. We had heard rave reviews of the hospitality and the food; and I have to say that both more than lived up to the expectations. Initially, I was a bit worried whether some of the fussier members of the group would accept 3 nights in rural environs. However, starting from the welcome, every aspect was a delight. 1) The Ambience: The entire place has a very quaint and rural feel with rooms made of thatched grass and pasted with dried dung (as is reality). However, there is no compromise on cleanliness, hygiene and basic facilities. The good part is that all rooms have attached washrooms with all the required amenities. However, you should not expect a TV or WiFi or other typical hotel accessories. In my opinion, you won't need them anyway. The overall farm is also well maintained. I would specially like to point out the meditation centre (Parashar Kutir) where you can actually lie down on a cot and read, snooze, watch the stars or simply meditate. The peace in that small open environment is surreal. We spent each afternoon snoozing on cots in the open and recollected our childhood in our village. 2) Hospitality: This, in fact, is the best part about the place. The owner, Manoj Hadawale, and his wife, Namrata bhabhi take care of you as if you are actually close friends or blood relatives. We had initially booked 6 of the 8 cottages that he had and later upgraded to 7. However, when I called him for the 7th cottage, his simple reply was that he had closed bookings for all other guests (after our initial booking) so that he could completely focus on attending to us. This is a far cry from conventional hotels who would try to fill every single room that they have. Every single day, Manoj would accompany us early in the morning for a forest walk or a trek or a picnic to the nearby lake. He also took us along to witness the weekly rural market and let us decide whatever veggies we wanted to eat that day. Namrata, silently but surely, handled all the backend and had a team game session with us. In fact, the entire staff was so friendly that you end up feeling a bit ashamed at the calculating lives that city dwelling makes us live. I would possibly count Manoj more as a friend today compared to the complete strangers we were just 3 weeks ago. In fact, for anyone going there, I would recommend that you actually spend a lot of time talking to Manoj his wife, who are both well qualified and deeply knowledgeable in rural tourism. Food: Please do not expect continental or typical Punjabi food. However, what you will get served is the most homely and amazing vegetarian Maharashtrian food. Here, I would like to mention Sanjaykaka (who works with Manoj) and all the other people working in the kitchen, who ensured a variety of dishes everyday. If you are there, please request Manoj to have various "thecha" varieties everyday. Its unlike other pickles you would have tried earlier. On the whole, it was a most memorable trip for me and my cousins. Given a chance, I would try to take my parents and in-laws there again for an encore. Thank you Manoj, Namrata bhabhi and everyone at Parashar!
