Hotel is close to the railway station but far away from bus stand.....situated next to osho's ..This place is very peaceful away from the hustle..bustle of the city... The area is surrounded by lots of trees...the studio rooms are nice...overlooking the lawn....one of the nicest place to stay with friends and family...

We stayed twice at Hotel Sunderban and enjoyed it very much. We had a room upstairs with a veranda which was superb to just sit and read and relax. The location is at Koregan Park near the Osho Commune. But what we liked most is the garden, the nearby restaurant where you can sit outside until late at night. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned but spacious and cleand and the staff is very friendly.

I had informed the hotel 2 days in advance that i would do a late check-in around 8pm, after work. On the day of check-in in the evening 5pm, they call me and tell me the hotel is sold out and they cannot give me my room to stay. They refused to honour my booking and have not even refunded my money. Not even picking up my calls. When I told the manager of the hotel to connect me with a senior person, he refused to do so. Extremely poor management.
I have stayed at this property more than a couple fo times earlier, but never faced such unprofessionalism. Th staff has changed and seems quite incapable to run a hotel.
If you have booked this property, i suggest you to have backup booking, because they don't care and you could be left stranded the last minute.

The exterior and interior of the hotel is well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. No complaints there.
What we did have an issue with which spoilt the experience for us was the reception staff. They are çurt with no smile on their faces. The man repeatedly accused us of not picking up his calls when we told him we did not recieve any from the hotels number. Then he made it sound like it was a favor he was doing by giving us the room. Very pathetic customer service. The girl was morose and curt. So they matched each other well.
Secondly the buffet breakfast was sparse and certainly not worth the high price this hotel charges for a stay. It's only vegetarian and consists of not more than 4 items like medu vada, upma, toast with jam and butter, parathas that's it. In any other hotel at this rate we would get a full breakfast including continental Indian Chinese etc even if it's only vegetarian
Would not recommend this place because of the above 2 factors.

Poor reception and manager and poor restaurant room service along with Sante's arrogant bar service ruin the experience of this serene property.
It's a pity such a beautiful place is run by bunch of morons.
Receptionists will openly lie to you about making calls which they did not do and are working under equally rude manager.
They will email you at night a day before for you to pay first even if it was from Booking.com and will straight away cancel your booking if you did not pay earlier.

They have old wing and new wing - both have rooms for every budget. They have cafes and restaurants there.
We had 3 rooms with breakfast - breakfast uses the vegetables from left over Italian restaurants. Management should look into it.

One of the worst experiences I,ve ever had . The hotel looks very pretty in pics and website, but the reality is something else .we had 4 rooms and most of us had the issue of toilet flush not working .the ACs were not functioning at all .towels in the bathroom were so shoddy …. Its like a lodge and not a hotel .the pics on internet are truly misleading .strongly advise to avoid this hotel.

The amazing stay at Sunderban Resort and Spa for my family was a memorable one!

dont know the answer to your question. but i am sure you can call or email the hotel and ask them.
The answer is NO. I had a friend (a fellow guest at the hotel) come to my room one evening and the reception agent called 15 minutes later and said I would be charged double occupancy if he stayed any longer. The desk manager confirmed this is the hotel policy: no visitors are allowed in the room.
