Ramee Grand Hotel Pune garners appreciation for its amenities, with guests enjoying the quality of rooms, pools, and food, despite some minor drawbacks. The spacious and clean rooms contribute to the hotel's cozy atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the staff's warm hospitality. Its central location is a hit among travelers, offering convenience and tranquility. While the hotel's cleanliness receives high marks, opinions on value are divided, with some guests feeling the prices are steep relative to the services provided. Overall, the service is commended, though there's room for improvement in flexibility and efficiency.

Been staying here very regularly post lockdown.

Centrally located and walking distance to FC road. And JM road. Quiet and peaceful

Very friendly staff...Pavitra, Shilpa, Vicky and all.
Extremely helpful. Get you things themselves even if housekeeping staff not there.

Maintaining good safety norms.

Issue is that guests don't co-operate with them at times which becomes a sore.

Rooms are very neat and clean. Hygiene is well maintained.

Great breakfast spread to choose from in these times. Overall food is very good with huge portions so be careful to order less to avoid wastage.

Ample parking. They charge 200 Rs for a car wash which is unreasonable.

Highly recommended

The rooms are spacious and well ventilated; Sleep infrastructure (mattresses, linens, covers, styles) are high quality, bathrooms include satisfying "rainfall" shower-head, staff are attentive and efficient, there is an easily operated safe in the room for your valuables, and the location is central to Deccan Gymkhana shopping areas. Breakfast inclusive reservations are well worth it as the first meal of the day is high quality and includes a wide range of items. The food is so good, it would be good to include a weighing scale in the room (for the weight conscious). The only minor shortcoming was the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room. But staff quickly provided these upon request. Front office team is doing fantastic job with guidance of Mr. Amol. Shankar at swimming pool is doing nice job. Thank you team. will visit soon

Excellent location, staff, food. The chefs, restaurant staff are courteous. Dipali, Jayesh, Rabiaul, Rithvik are caring and hardworking. Food assortment are excellent and presentation is remarkable. Rooms could use a makeover a bit smelly, old looking but ok still. Housekeeping services staff is good but can benefit from training in how to fully and properly complete the housekeeping services. Bath tub below the floor level is a hazard and management should look into better alternatives. Hot water is non existent so trying to use the bathtub just doesn't make any sense. Overall staff and Room service staff might need better training for taking care of long stay guests

I stayed here for 10 nights with my family whilst visiting extended family in the area.

The hotel looks decent and its cleanliness is perfect. However, a few niggles with the room detracted from the sheen. The WiFi didn't work in the room (but was eventually resolved by use of a dongle), the shower head came off the wall, the bath plug got stuck, and it was pot luck knowing which of the main lights worked whenever you switched on the light switch.

Perhaps my biggest gripe was the pounding music coming from the bar directly beneath our room. The room almost vibrated at times from the bass. We were staying on the third floor, so I would recommend asking for a room on the higher levels which may alleviate the problem. With two young kids and almost 2 weeks if luggage, we were reluctant to move rooms, but I would have requested a room change if I had less baggage.

That being said, housekeeping was attentive and the food was good. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly and attentive, even fetching things from the breakfast buffet for me if I had taken the children down to breakfast alone without my wife. They should be particularly praised. Food at both breakfast and dinner was good.

Overall, a smart hotel that is slightly let down by a couple of niggles, none of which would deter me from staying again.

Went there for business reasons. Hotel is OK. Rooms are good. Roof top restaurant is very good at night and very affordable (1000 ++ per person for a full free buffet). Good choice of alcool quite affordable too.
Breakfast is really average: basic cereals only, no yoghurt. Below par Danish pastries

We had hosted a marriage ceremony at the Ramee Grand, Pune last week. The banquet hall for this star hotel is generally suited for corporate events / cocktail parties so having a full blown marriage ceremony with all its rituals could have been a challenge. However, the staff was very cooperative as they discussed and catered to every small detail that we asked from them. They also allowed a blend of their pre-approved vendors and external vendors so that all needs were catered to. We had outstation guests staying in more than 15 rooms but the checking, checkout and in-stay service was very smoothly handled by team Ramee. All through the Sangeet to Bidaai overnight theme, we did not face any problem thanks to Barnali at front desk and the team led by Palash / Saddam at the Banquet.

Areas of improvement:
1. Wifi quality in the banquet room needs improvement because we faced bandwidth problems in live streaming of the event
2. The waste bins in the banquet hall lobby are a sore sight. Need to be better disguised

The Worst experience ever. My 1st solo business trip and worst experience ever faced. This hotel being in proximity to Pune Courts hence, I chose to stay in Grand Room of this so called Grand "Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa, Pune", but honestly there was nothing Grand about it.
From untidy and unhygienic rooms to mediocre breakfast options, everything was just a nightmare.
Major Flaws: electrical sockets not working, intercom wire were broken, Electric Kettle found to be out of order, and last but not the least cockroaches were in the washroom.
When issues were brought to the attention of the hotel staff, hotel manager Ms. Vaidehi rather than getting them fixed; she simply said- "Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will take your feedback".
In other words, she intended to say- "Let her [me] go, yeh saab normal hain".

Is this acceptable? Are we really paying for having bad experiences and feedbacks in lieu of poor hospitality and discourtesy?
Folks, I really don't know whether the hotel will take this strong feedback and work upon it but I surely hope this genuine review shall help others from making any booking at this hotel.

This was my second stay at the Ramee Grand Pune (previous visit was May 2022), and the experience was very good both times. The hotel staff (especially Vicky) were always helpful, kind, friendly, and ready to help when needed with transportation or any other arrangements. The location is excellent for exploring the city whether on foot (a short walk to FC Road, for example) or via ride share app. Upper floor rooms were spacious and comfortable with a dedicated work space, plenty of outlets, and side chair and table. There was a great selection each morning at the breakfast buffet (both Indian and Western options), and when it's not monsoon season you can watch cricket matches while eating a wonderful dinner at the open air rooftop restaurant. All in all, I found it to be a great home base for a couple weeks in Pune.

I had visited few times earlier the service was good. This time it was horrifying experience as regards food. The buffet lunch I was told was compulsory on Saturdays and Sundays. No alacarte is available during these days. The waiter informed that only tandoori Roti and parathas are available on demand with buffet my wife asked for chapatis or full as. Hence my wife had to have only dal and jeera rice as due to health constraints. After completion of her lunch the chapatis arrived which initially were informed were not available. I had no other option than to pay for the buffet despite my wife having consumed only dal and rice. So is the case of tea. When I called up and informed that the tea is only full of milk and I want normal tea the person replying informed that this is the type of tea which is served and I left the tea but they had no courtesy and the charged for the same . So also black tea was ordered and even after waiting for 30 minutes the same was not made available and when reminded the sent tea bags with water water in the jar which was absolutely warm. As regards the room the hand shower was not working. The hand shower in the room was not working. In view of my experience this time I don’t think if I have a choice I would visit this hotel and not worth for the cost paid. Hence don’t go on the flowery advertisement.
