I had high expectations from Hyatt Regency Pune, but my stay was disappointing.
From the start, the check-in process was poorly managed. I was left unattended for 10 minutes, and the staff at the counter lacked basic courtesy. Important details like breakfast timings, the venue, and the Regency Club Lounge access that came with my room were not communicated. I had to call from my room later to get this information, which should have been shared upfront.
The issues continued during my stay. The air conditioning in my room stopped working late at night, forcing us to move to another room—a significant inconvenience. Unfortunately, the new room wasn't much better. The washing machine malfunctioned, and we had to wait until the next day for the hotel's laundry service to open. On top of that, the induction cooktop didn’t work, requiring additional calls for assistance.
While the property is large and visually impressive, the hospitality and warmth one expects from a Hyatt property were sorely missing. These operational and service lapses made my stay far from enjoyable.
Given the choice, I would not stay here again. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve the guest experience.

We recently stayed in a 2BHK apartment for five nights, and I must say the experience was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the entire team was incredibly attentive and caring. A special shoutout to Digvijay, Rajeev, Chef Avtar, Devyojit, Freddy, and the cleaning staff—Gyan, Santosh, and another helpful young man—who made us feel right at home.They truly went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday unforgettable. The surprise they planned for her was absolutely mesmerizing, and she adored every moment of it! When she fell ill unexpectedly, the staff quickly arranged for medicine and provided all the care and support we needed. Whether it was a request for extra amenities or my senior parents needing something specific, the team handled everything with efficiency and kindness. Kudos to them!However, my daughter and her best friend did feel that a more extensive toy zone, similar to Corinthians Resort, would have been a great addition. Also, adding more variety and flavors to the breakfast menu would elevate the experience even moreOn a brighter note, the food and ambiance at Zeta restaurant were out of this world. My daughter had an amazing time celebrating her birthday there! When my mother got sick during the last two days, they were kind enough to bring breakfast to our room, which we truly appreciated.
Their hospitality deserves a 10/10! Even when off-duty, the staff would check on our well-being, which shows their commitment to their guests. The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness, which could be slightly better, but overall, our stay was fantastic.

Took me four months to pen down this review, but had been busy travelling. Visited the Hyatt Regency Pune in Viman Nagar in the month of March 2023. First time visitors could get a little confused about the actual hotel property as the section on your left as you enter is the “Residences”. Hotel is in the opposite section.
There is a thorough security check of your vehicle as you enter which includes them taking a peek under the bonnet. Checkin was timely but not without some confusion. There was a corporate event of about 100 guests happening from my company and when they asked me if I worked for the same and I said yes, they actually directed me to the express checkin counter setup specifically for my company. Told them I was not part of that event and was a separate booking after which I got directed to the main desk.
Room was as you would expect from Hyatt - clean and spacious. The bathroom had a dual entrance of which one side was glass and it included a separate bath tub. However, some of the amenities had the color peeling off which indicated the age of the property. Nonetheless, it was well maintained and I had zero complaints. What I liked was their commitment to the environment where they did not place any fruits in the room and had a note which said I could call for some complimentary if I so wished – which I did.
Since it was a short stay, I did not have reason to use any of the services, but on occasions that I interacted with the staff, it was a pleasant experience. And yes, they do have smoking rooms. Only catch is that the parking is way off in the basement and the delivery of your car to you can take upwards of 5 minutes from the time you hand over the token. So do plan accordingly.
Checkout was efficient as well barring the time it again took early morning at 5am for them to get the car. Would recommend it especially if you have work in and around viman nagar. The airport is a short drive away as well which makes it ideal for corporate travellers.

Hotel is very nice We stayed in this Property along with our relatives 30 in people for attending a Wedding during feb 2. we were given a warm welcome by the Reception which is doing Harshita . We were given separate dining hall at first floor with a customized breakfast our south Indian vegetarian food. The rooms allotted to us are spacious , clean and with all amenities like Coffee /Tea maker & TV etc. Also the Bath room is clean with all Toiletries like Soap , Paste , Shower cap , Shaving Razor etc, But there is no Floor mat outside the bath room. The room service is good . We stayed in this Hotel for 3 days and took Complimentary Breakfast also one day in the Ground floor Restaurant and it has varieties of Indian and continental and it is very tasty also. The environment in this Hotel is very Good. Overall Rating is 5 to 5 . Definitely we will visit again and recommend for our Friends & Relatives. And thankyou Harshita to your help
