The rooms are clean and hygienic not very spacious but enough. Well kept hotel. Breakfast is average but lunch and dinner are excellent. Friendly staff and reasonable tariffs. I have been staying with the hotel on multiple visits to pune for work. And find it excellent for stay on prabhat road.

Hotel Royalty is in an good location. The street has great old buildings on it, and there are places to walk that are interesting. Even though traffic is very loud during the day, the street is very quiet at night. I had a room with a balcony, and like the room a lot. The bed was not great, but I slept well. The room was clean, and adequately comfortable. The hotel was charming, and quirky. The dinners and lunches were very good.

The three-star review has to do with the inconsistency of the staff. While they were pleasant enough, there were a few hiccups. They didn't send a shuttle to pick me at the airport, nor did they send one for my friends, even though we had both contacted them. I left early and my friend who was sharing the room with left later in the day, and they tried to charge her for three days, even though I had already paid. She refused, and all was well ultimately, but it was a hassle.

Having said all this, I think I would return to Hotel Royalty - only if I could get a balcony room. I don't mind the quirkiness, it adds to the story. The place is clean, charming, and has good food.

I stayed only for a night.
Location is central to the city and very good.
Hotel is little old with repainted furniture, but maintained clean.
Breakfast did not have much choice, but was ok. Restaurant has an ethnic look.
WiFi was working.
No slippers and shaving kit was provided.
TV is old CRT type.
Security staff/ parking guys may need a little polishing of their communication skills.
I had to drive away cars in way of my car in the parking lot, as the attentent was missing at 9.30 am after check out!

We stayed at this hotel for 2-3 days around 15th December. Shower curtain was dirty. Needed to thrown away and replaced with a clean one. Bathroom was cramped with wc and basin, so close together. They never once cleaned the room during our stay. They should have at least emptied the bins in our suite. Breakfast was not that great. Not much choice.
Our main problem was when we were checking out. My husband tried to pay with an international card and the card machine would not accept it. The problem was due to the fact that they the hotel had not updated their payment system. Very embarrassing as we had ask a relative to pay with cash. The manager did not offer us a solution. So surprised with this kind of bad service by management of the hotel. I am not happy at all. I am sure there must be other hotels with an up to date card machine in this area of Pune.

I stayed at Royalty in a Suite for 1 day (2-12-14) but trust me the rooms there are pretty bad. A suite in the hotel means an small seating room with sofa; a bathroom with a bath tub; rest of the facilities remain the same. The walls had seepage marks all over probabaly due to rains. The bed was also not comfotable and the bathroom is also very poor. The WC has rust stains which made me very uncomfortable. The corridors are very narrow and the entire stay in the hotel was very ERRIEE. The cost of the rooms are very exorbitant and is absoluetly no value for money.

Few good things about the hotel:
1. Location is in really good at it is in center of the city so everything is close by
2. The balcony gives a nice view of Prabhat Road
3. Peter Donuts is just in the next building so in case you wanna chill out that's a pretty good place that too with FREE WIFI :-P

All in all a very poor hotel with very high stay charges making my stay unmemorable there

So this place has had a couple of bad reviews, but I honestly have no idea why!
I'm a backpacker and honestly this was the nicest hotel I have stayed at in all of India! And breakfast is included. Who doesn't love free breakfast?
There are many many accommodations in Pune, and you can stay at fancy resorts, but you will pay for it also.

Hotel Royalty was affordable for my budget.
The room was impeccably clean and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The water was always hot and there's a showercap and comb if need be.
There is AC as well as a fan in the room. The TV is clear and has many stations to choose from.
Not only does the wifi work amazingly well in the common areas, it works just as well in the room also. That was a great luxury to have.
The staff in the hotel is exceptional!
The were friendly, accommodating, extremely polite and very prompt.
The breakfast is great. It is not extravagant, but they always have cereal, juice, milk, fruit, sambar and chutney with a typical Indian breakfast item, and they even had pancakes as an option one morning. There is also eggs and toast made to order. After my first breakfast the staff knew my order perfectly. I didn't have to order again. They just started it when I walked into the restaurant. That was delightful.
They also leave a newspaper at your door in the mornings.
Hotel Royalty feels less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. I had a very lovely stay here.
I would recommend Royalty to anyone staying in Pune!

This was definetly the worst place we have ever been measured by the price. The rooms were shappy, not clean and the staff was unfriendly and incompetent. If we had not been there with Friends we would have left after the first night.

I have visited Pune, number of time. Mostly on official tours.
This time I had chance to stay at Hotel Royalty. Nice hotel. Near to some great market areas. Hotel is average comfy. Almost all facilities are available. One thing great about this hotel is - Dinner. Very delicious. But breakfast is not. Very limited choice.

One important thing, The PAAN shop outside the hotel. It serves chocolate PAAN, which is amazing.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Royalty for 3 nights. We had a very spacious room with a balcony and the rooms was clean and nice. Only the bathroom had a small leak which was fixed promptly by hotel staff. The reception staff were also very nice and helpful. The restaurant was ok, but expensive. Breakfast was good. Overall it was a pleasant stay although a little pricey.
