Housekeeping was the sweetest. Pallavi, Umesh, Digeshwari and others vacuumed all the cat hair out of my pet-friendly room.
Thoughtfully arranged room, detergent powder near washer-dryer, dish wash soap & scrub, pots, pans, cutlery, hot-pan type stove, dishwasher, kettle, microwave, oven were all available. Interiors were spotlessly clean. But very 1980s & masculine (think heavy, dark, carved wood & upholstered, floral-patterned chairs).
No well-lit mirror for makeup though! A major annoyance in so many big hotels! Such a simple basic thing too. Just makeup unfriendly yellow lights everywhere, even in the bathroom.
And no full length mirror that I can walk up to either! (Three short mirrors in bedroom, bathroom, by door & lit by yellow light lamp or recessed ceiling lights. One full length mirror on closet door but it's a small passage way & inconvenient to use for a full outfit pet hair check!)
Make sure your balcony overlooks the back if you want better air & want to avoid a view of the road - you do lose out on privacy as the neighbouring buildings are very close. Blackout curtains are great though. I think the staff gave a great room. No mustiness, no dust - very happy. Slight glitch over billing & points redemption at front desk but it was sorted out. And they have weekend events like pottery & cooking classes! I even noticed a city tour, book atleast 48h in advance, it said. So it's a nice family-friendly place. At breakfast majority of the guests looked not-Indian. All the Indian food at buffet was superb. Subbarao, my lovely celebrity chef, insisted I try his pongal when I praised his medu wada. He has promised me luchi-chola tomorrow! The bakery stuff was terrible & everyone knows it - I have seen the same dry danishes & croissants atleast two days in a row.
Will report back further on pet-friendly ratings over the next few days. Possibly on my Insta account & catadoption_pune.

Why the three stars?
We booked 2 , 3-bedroom apartments thinking it would be suitable for our group. But only one bedroom has a full king bed and the other two have queen beds, which became a bit messy to manage with multiple couples and kids sharing the apartment. But these are not luxury stay-like apartments, they have nice clean furniture, and the property is well-kept but can feel dated to some. Overall the ambience of the apartments left a lot to be desired. The living area and kitchen were spacious and well-maintained.
The staff was very accommodating with requests, and service was good. I would appreciate the breakfast buffet and the culinary team's excellent and varied options each day. Both kids and adults enjoyed the lavish buffet! Even the room service was very good, and accomodated requests of milk, extra water, cutlery without any hesitation.
I would come back, but strongly recommend the one-apartment suite is suitable for a single-family instead of a group share in the larger apartments. But if you don't mind queen-size beds, then it is a great value for money experience for groups.
Location-wise it is a bit far from the main Pune sights and 'city centres' so you need to account for traffic whenever stepping out.

Master Bedroom Bathroom has drainage issues. During all showers water will not get flushed for minutes. Hope it will be attended for next guest who come in and at least they won't face this issue while taking shower. No other issues as such ..

Staying at the Marriott Suites Pune has been exactly what I needed. The hospitality here is truly exceptional, unlike anywhere I’ve been before. It’s my first time in India, and I was impressed by the attention to detail – my room was cleaned daily by Ram and Swanand, lead by Dnyaneshwar, who went above and beyond. The service at the restaurant was just as amazing; my waffles arrived in only two minutes!
I’m already looking forward to returning for future work trips and will definitely stay here again. If you’re visiting for business, I highly recommend taking some time to explore the rich history of Pune. You can even grab a guidebook at the front desk – it’s well worth it!

I had the opportunity to stay at this Marriott property during my recent visit to Pune, India. The property is well kept and the staff is very friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet options are amazing. Rohit did an excellent job every morning by proving exceptional service. Sneha from the front reception was very charming and always eager to help. The house keeping staff did an amazing job by not only locating the items that I left behind accidentally, they also kept it safe and made it sure that they reach me on time. A heartfelt thank you to Santosh, Nidhi, who were very quick to act on it and were constantly providing me updates and helped with the items.
I would love to stay at this property whenever I am visiting Pune in future. The staff makes it a point that they live to the Marriott name & promise!

Yes you can! We did it and we also asked for room service to provide us ice, mixers, finger food, etc and they were happy to provide!
Yes, there is colourful slide of an interesting design in the kids play area.
