We are 3 seniors who visited in August 2023. We shared a room. We felt pampered by the personal attention we got from all staff working at the hotel - front desk Abhishek communicated with me right from the start. I appreciate when I receive confirmation of a booking. Restaurant staff serving us happily & housekeeping getting our room cleaned before their usual time.
Mr. Huzefa Hakim GM of Mala’s & his wife are very pleasant & warm. I mentioned that Bohri’s make delicious biriyani and Mr. Huzefa was kind enough to get it prepared for us. Delicious! And thank you Huzefaji.
Complimentary Breakfast variety was excellent. Besides the usual omlette toasts, parathas, we had kheema one day, paya on another day, sabudana vadas. Oh the payas were divine.
We opted for the Premium room which sadly didn’t have an additional bed like their other triple occupancy room. This room had a sofa bed which when opened was a mattress on the floor. Very inconvenient for a senior with knee problems. A roll in roll out bed would have been better. While another 3 mattresses were added to increase the height it was not the best arrangement.

The service was commendable provided by every worker over there Food was delicious and buffet was up to the mark. The aura is also pleasing and exterior interior is beautiful. Rooms are also very good, but can be great. More charging points would be helpful.

Very good , Budget friendly property . Close to Pachgani market & table land (walkable distance) .
Highly recommend all meal inclusive plan as the food quality is very good specially if you are traveling with Kids and elder people, also their in-house cafe is very good with friendly staff.

We booked Malas as a last minute deal, all other hotels were booked. We booked 2 rooms with 5 adults as the online site wouldnt add in an extra child, I called the hotel and spoke to a guy called Hrithik who informed that an additional child would cost 2275 and since on the day of check in we will not avail lunch as ours was a fully paid for package we can avail it on the day of checkout. Below is our experience 1. On arrival we were told its 4300 for an extra child 2. No hot water kettle in the rooms, you can call the cafe and request hot water. Whenever we asked for it we were given Luke warm water 3. If we requested for cups or glasses they made us feel over demanding and refused on a couple of occasions. Glass was chipped 4. No soap dispenser in the washroom. 5. No bottled drinking water like most hotels do. Instead a water cooler kept in the room and not changed for 3 days. The tap was broken and dirty so you wouldnt dare to drink water from it 6. Front desk staff was extremely rude when we informed them that we wouldn't be eating lunch on the day of checkout and they informed us that this wasnt available either, so wrong info provided by Hrithik 7. Extremely rude staff, we requested for the fire to be kept on as the hotel staff played housie and was cold. They told us this will not be done 8. Rooms are old and worn out with leakage evident 9. No lockers in the rooms to keep your stuff 1 godrej worn out and broken cupboard in the room 10. Waiters were all rude if you requested for service on the table, starters are limited and no extras will be served 11. TVs are the old fashioned box ones 12. Wifi didn't work at all 13. Chairs kept in the balcony are metal and very inconvenient and hard. Especially when it's so cold the chairs are not comfortable to sit as they become cold 14. For a 10 degree weather at night blankets were inadequate and not sufficient and dont ask for extra you will be denied 15. Windows dont close and hence the rooms become cold, no heaters inside so you have to manage 16. In all absolutely no customer service, its a bed and breakfast facility 17. The only good part was the non veg food, good chef and just 1 good waiter

Booked the room looking at the rating and reviews online. We were charged 4.5k per night for a standard room. To our surprise this room was foul smelling due to the seepage in the wall s. Bathroom had broken ceiling and the bathing area was infested with insects. When we complained the management about it, they simply regretted for the room conditions & asked for 2.5k extra for an upgraded room. Some how we spent the night in the room and left in the morning. We would not suggest this property if you don't wish to ruin your vacation.

Hotel Mala's is a perfect family hotel where you feel like home. It is located in the heart of Panchgani Market. The hotel staff members are very polite and helpful. It is an old property but must say, it is very clean and well maintained. The hotel has a children's play area, well maintained garden, and swimming pool. The hotel even has a 24/7 cafeteria and the food served here is delicious whether it is a buffet or ala carte. We definitely recommend this hotel to all the family who are looking for a perfect family hotel.

The hotel has very courteous staff and amazing food. Our overall experience with Hotel Mala's was very pleasant.
But there is always scope for improvement such as the layout and design of rooms and interiors.
Suggestion: Hotel Malas should have a tour visit for their guests to their factory in Wai.

One of the best experiences and amazing food. A Property in the heart of panchgani and closeby to most of the tourist attractions in panchgani. A cozy affair with one of the best chefs who serves amazing food. His name is santosh, don’t forget to meet him and talk to him and have some lip smacking food. As a person he is, you would spend hours in the cafe and restaurant with the amazing hospitality and good ambience. Even if you don’t stay in the property, the food here is the best. Visit the cafe, it is the only 24 hour cafe in panchgani.

We picked Panchagani as an overnight stopover on our Mumbai-Bangalore ride. Malas was a neat, comfortable and charming place for the overnighter, and we could easily walk to the market for dinner. The coffee at the cafe in the morning was lovely. And the best thing was the super helpful and friendly folks at the place.
