Clarks Hotel has a nice quiet location just outside Khajuraho with spacious park-like outdoor areas. The first Twin Bed room had pool view, unfortunately we had to change this room, as it had a connecting door to the neighboring room and one was unfortunately noisily accessed there, so sleep was unthinkable. But that went without a problem and the new room was quiet and actually even nicer, since bigger. However, the interior bathroom was old, a plastic shower bath with shower curtain, so you might not look closely at how and if this can be kept clean. The food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was neat, but on the first evening they only had red wine, which had then run out on the second evening, publicly too many Western tourists who had ordered it.

During our recent road trip to MP, we stayed in Clarks Khajuraho for one night. The hotel is located 6-7 km from the highway that leads to Khajuraho and the temples complex of Khajuraho is also only 2.5km from here.
This was the only hotel out of many that we stayed in during our trip which was following covid protocols to the best. They asked for our vaccination certificate, provided for covid safety kit in the room and followed cleaning guidelines also.
The food here was tasty, and the quantity of the platter was really large. The service was also prompt. And the checkin , checkout was fast. We had to hardly wait either times.
They also have in campus parking and free wifi
Would definitely recommend staying here on a trip to Khajuraho

Was here on a leisure trip with my wife. The booking process was simple and no nonsense. On arrival, we had a very warm welcome, that makes you feel at home. A choice of room was offered along with any special extras, if required. The deluxe rooms are well appointed with a large glass lookout window. The garden facing room is excellent for the morning sun. The room contained a minibar, tea/coffee kit, water, LED TV and most importantly, a very clean and functional bathroom with 24 hr hot water and a bathtub. The hotel has a large lobby, a large pool side lawn area and a well maintained Bird house with fruit trees (excellent for bird lovers). The dining room is off the main lobby and serves a host of continental, Indian and Asian dishes through the day. Food quality is great, the portions more than sufficient. Breakfast was a mix of South / North and Central Indian cuisine along with basic Continental. Service offered in the F&B Dept is top notch and the people ensure nothing is left to chance. Mr Rahul (the F&B Mgr), Mr Swami (the F&B supervisor) and Mr Mukesh made sure of our requirements from entering the dining room till our exit, including those for future meals, if any. Mr Ashok Singh Bhadoria and his staff handled our reservation, check-in till check-out activities with equal fervour, such that all our requirements / inquiries were taken care of. Arrangement of the best local guides, itinerary planning, showing us around the fairly large property, etc were handled with professionalism and a smile. Service is their strong point, that shows in every individual, right from the guard at the gate, parking and luggage handling, housekeeping, chef and waiters, supervisors, managers.....All share a common goal.. to make the guest feel at home. A definite revisit here is sure, the architectural marvels at Khajuraho and the Panna Tiger Reserve, the Ken Gharial Sanctuary / Raneh Canyon / Falls, Pandav Falls can all be comfortably visited keeping Khajuraho as a base. The front desk also provides all necessary help for booking safari trips to the Panna reserve, which is an added bonus. Complimentary WiFi is available to all guests, Airtel and Jio networks work just fine in the hotel as well. Ample parking within the premises is available and assistance is provided, if required. In short, if you are visiting Khajuraho, don't look any further.

We booked Clarks Khajuraho for our son’s wedding during 20-24 December. It was a great experience. All our guests enjoyed the food and the hospitality. Mr Bhagwat is a great chef and very flexible and understanding person. Mr swami patel arranged all the dining in a very professional manner. He ensured that all guests are completely satisfied with the dining. In the house keeping, sahu and bahadur provided prompt services to all the guests. None of us faced any problems with the services. Mr Sandeep sharma also gave us a good affordable package and accomodated all our requests.
Overall it was a very Happy experience for us and our guests.
Thanks Clarks management

Certainly not a 5 star property - luxurywise. It certainly has a good deal of real estate, swimming pool et. all, but all old and run down, badly needing renovation with modern and luxurious amenities, if it wishes to call itself a 5 star hotel!
Room allotted to us was spacious but the accessories and fittings were quite old and some of it was non-functional. We were informed that the owner of this hotel stays abroad and doesn't visit here 3-4 years altogether hence the state of present affairs. None of our business but we paid for 5 star luxury and didn't get it...!
Breakfast was a routine affair, staff looked indifferent and sluggish, dishes lacked variety and taste.
Overall a no no for the tarrif charged.

Excellent hotel. To highlight the attention of Swami, Patel and Mukesh at breakfast and in the restaurant who attended us very kindly, always attentive to our needs, especially suggesting non-spicy foods. Extremely kind.
The rooms are comfortable, excellent bed and huge bathroom with bathtub. The room overlooked a large park full of plants and birds. A paradise.
Weddings are held here in the park and finely decorated.
Really highly recommended!!!

During a three week journey in India between Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Goa we made an excursion to Khajuraho for only two nights/three days. In hindsight we should have stayed at least one night longer.
We knew the Clarks in Khajuraho from a visit many years back but still we were overwhelmed about the welcome we received: It felt like family but still was highly professional.
The hotel is located in a big and nicely maintained park and offers many recreational possibilites (sports, pool, bar etc.).
I cannot say it differently: We were pampered by all of the staff for our whole stay. Led by the General Manager, Niraj, everything was perfectly organized. It started with the light show about the "Son of the Moon" after sunset in the temple district which was impressing and interesting. The next morning we were taken to the "Tiger Safari" which was exciting and adventurous - even though we did not see a tiger (but many other animals). The same day in the afternoon we visited the famous temples of Khajuraho, accompanied by an excellent guide (also organized by the hotel). The impressions of the monuments and specifically the stone sculptures which decorate the temples go beyond description. Everyone should see it by themselves!
So, in Khajuraho, you have nature and culture close by, wildlife and unique architecture and art within a few kilometers of the perfect location of the Clarks hotel!
The rest of the (short) time we enjoyed the hotel with its SPA (excellent massage) and very good cuisine.
If there was a negative side: The day of our arrival a big wedding took place in the hotel (amazing decorations and catering!) which made it impossible to sleep much before midnight. Easily to be forgotten judging the overall experience.

Stayed there for new year night 2023. This is an old property carrying vintage of staff and infrastructure. This is not value for money property. Rooms are small and not very well maintained. Bathrooms are terrible. Need to change the room as allocated one was disaster. New year party food seems to be outsourced and quality was really poor. Charged INR 32K for 2 nights on direct booking although package was for 15K but no one informed. Car charges for less than 10 Kms distance run in thousands. .. Better opt for brand ramada.
