I am big fan of Madhya Pradesh Tourism hotels and always stay in their properties. I was not aware of Kutni Island Resort until a dear friend suggested it to me while I was visiting Khajuraho. We were very happy we took up his suggestion and altered our itinerary to fit in Kutni. We enjoyed our stay although it was only for one night. I would highly recommend the peaceful Island Resort. Book it on week days, weekends get a little crowded,with locals coming for boating, and use it as a picnic spot. Manager Mr. Javed Mansuri pleasing gentleman to talk to, and Mr. Shariq efficient and smiling, at the front desk took extremely good care of us. The other staff was also very helpful and cordial. Food was good. Our room was very nice, with a beautiful view of the Lake. Bed Linen and bathroom towels were clean. We had the pleasure of boating too on the lake formed by the Kutni Dam.

The resort is based on a beach property. Here you will find a dam from which back water comes on the shore like waves of a huge sea. The staff is very gentle and they provide a great hospitality. The rooms are beautiful and once the room is made to clean, the room becomes very good👍👍. The food in restaurant is very delicious. You can get a chance to do water sports like motor boat,padel boat,shikara boat and the weather is cool till 9 in morning and it becomes very hit after 10 or 11. The best time to explore is in the evening. The greenery makes our mind peaceful No hotel or resort can provide such an atmosphere as they are not situated near the kutni dam

.A heavenly resort till now I thought does NOT exist. Unfortunately our visit was on the last day of the family(7 people) outing. The resort location was surrounded by the lake and the room rear window opened towards the lake. The luxurious room was coupled with excellent service by the Manager Mr.Manoj and very polite staff.A place on your MUST VISIT LIST. All the best.

We visited this place on an evening during our visit to Khajuraho Raneh water fall. We had speed boat ride and high tea at the restaurant. Lovely experience at this unique location and very cooperative staff. One must stay at this location and have very good view of Sunset and Sunrise.
Mr Deepak Naik who accompanied us during our visit was very friendly and extremely cooperative.
I can equate this to a three star facility.
A sincere advise.
Please maintain little more cleanliness and do frequent pest control.

Kutni resort is at a very nice location. The road to this location was in a very bad shape for few kms.We went there to see if accommodation was available but unfortunately it was not. The evening view was spectacular and boat ride was fun. Had a nice tea there.looks a really nice place for weekend stay. Must visit

The Resort is located in the middle of island which makes it amazing surrounded by 350 views of the lake. Excellent, unique experience. Great hospitality, good food, Wonderfully maintained room. I stayed for two nights with my husband. Kutni resort offers a complete royal experience. We recommend everyone to visit this place once in a life time.

We had an excellent stay at MPT Kutni Island Resort on 30th March 2024. The resort is just awesome - a location which is perfect (calm, close to nature, magnificent view). It is a very well maintained property. Cleanliness is great. It is perhaps the best place to stay. Perhaps many tourists are not aware of this great resort. It is far better than most of the 5 star hotels in Khajuraho. I shall always stay there whenever I visit Khajuraho.

"There is about 0.5 kms walk from entrance to the hotel itself.It can be a deterrent to senior citizens who have mobility issues.Also,be prepared to climb steps."
There are more places to choose from in the Khajuraho area.
