This hotel was part of a sightseeing tour. We liked everything. At first they gave me a not very clean room - they changed it immediately after the request. Excellent breakfast, nice and pleasant staff, normal linen and towels, good water pressure. I have only pleasant impressions of my stay.

We stayed in this hotel for one night . Rooms are big and clean with complimentary water bottles. Bathroom was disappointing as cheap repairs were visible ; not a 4 star standards. Staff was helpful . Breakfast was Ok . Fresh omelet was great .Parking spaces easily available.
Overall I would say Average ! Although Lobby area is beautiful .

On entry, this hotel is very nice. The grounds and swimming pool are beautiful and very relaxing. The restaurant and food were amazing. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good. After requesting non smoking rooms and being assurred as such, the rooms smelt of tobacco. Even after having the room sprayed with air freshener, it made no difference. Thankfully we were only there one night or we would would have requested a change in room. We had 3 rooms in total, all were the same. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very thin. While showering in the morning in one of the rooms, the water stopped running all together, others reduced in pressure. It was unfortunate that we had these issues with the rooms as the setting and staff were amazing but I don't think I will return.

The hotel is a mile away from the main temple complex and is only five minutes from the airport. The rooms are located either side of long corridors and have lovely garden views. Our room floor wasn't clean when we arrived but it was quickly attended to. There were stairs between the floors and our room had twin beds and a TV with CNN only.There was aircon and a fan, fridge, safe and a tea/coffee maker. The bathroom was dated with variable hot water. There is a brilliant garden nursery within the grounds with super friendly staff. We stroked the rabbits and watched the geese in their compound. There was also a 800 metre walking/jogging track around the main lawn. In the gardens there was beautiful, large multiform pool which was clean and well maintained. A shortage of sunbeds was apparent, particularly with so many guests wanting an afternoon dip and snooze.
Seating at breakfast and dinner was in long rows of tables and there were lots of group tours. The food was good at dinner with plenty of Indian choices, however, breakfast was poor with only white bread and basic fruit offerings. There was a long queue for cooked eggs and some of the waiters were quite abrupt.

We visited Khajuraho from 06-08 Oct 18 and had done a booking in Clarkes Hotel.
A beautiful hotel with an excellent staff who were always there to help you out for any need. A very big property with enough of things to do. A very memorable stay.

I think they can improve cleaning skill. The room was not % 100 clean and tidy. Staff pushed us to buy some shirt. You can not skip them easily. We had a limited choice in the breakfast. The garden was nice

Hotel looks dated at places but it's well maintained. One of the largest area. Nice landscape. Beautiful pool.
Food is good so us service.
Admire the hospitality. Two floors only, no elevator needed. Big room size with Windows either facing pool or garden.

Worst 5 star hotel. Total cheat with food quality and quantity. House keeping is a joke as nobody answers your call. Less maintained. Old rooms with uncomfortable bed and mattress. Pls AVOID or regret
