This is a comfortable hotel, air con worked and staff were helpful. Our towels were dirty and stained when we arrived, they changed immediately. The groups in the other rooms also had dirty sheets, and they changed them with sheets that were still stained/dirty. The pool was too dirty for us to swim in, luckily they are part of a 3 hotel complex, and there's a nice pool down the road we were able to use.If I'm honest, I think we got the worst pick out of the 3. The place was decent to sleep in, it was quiet and comfortable - but there isn't really anything else to offer with this one.
Was going to stay there but after we saw them burning plastic in the backyard decided against it. Even though there have been numerous complaints against them i guess they paid off the cops. This has an ayurvedic centre on their premises...shame on them...
Nighttime plastic fires (10pm)make staying here or anywhere else in the neighbourhood prohibitive. We were going to move to Nikhil tomorrow from nearby but have to leave the area. Right now there is an acrid cloud of smoke across the area and into our room!
Close to the beach location. Clean and spacious room with balcony. Wi-Fi not working in our room as too far away from the main router. I do not normally go in the swimming pool but the one I saw in this hotel was not very inviting. Overall a good hotel.
I really wanted to like this place but...so here are my positive views first. 1. The security guard was very nice. 2. Great location near the beach. 3. Cleaning lady smiled at me. 4. Solid free wi-fi service. Now for the criticism...this is no resort. 1. Pool dirty, literally a hygiene hazard. 2. Never did figure out housekeeping, 5 days, they never came but the door is locked with an actual lock soooooo. I had to do all of my cleanings. 3. Beds very, very, very, very, very, very hard. I almost checked out right away but then found a stray mattress (yes, there were strays) in the hallway and put it on top of the bed. 4. Cafe - Don't expect anything but simple fare. Service was horrible, lazy. No fans in the cafe. Enjoy your breakfast while sweating your tuckus off. 5. Hotel throws its trash behind walls. Doesn't pick up trash on grounds, like it's invisible to them.…
Great friendly staff Nice clean rooms Hot water Good walking distance from main area (2min) Refreshing pool Reasonably priced Stayed for 5 nights and we had a very relaxing time Stayed in non AC, and a fan was fine with us Great for the price. We had a rockin good time
Spent long hours in the pool.Ayurvedic massage centre is there just right next to the restaurant inside.Very welcoming and friendly staff.Good food at the restaurant.Rooms look nice too.Washrooms are clean. The pool with shadowy bamboo groves gives a very calming experience.
I stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The rooms are lovely and the air con works incredibly well. The pool is open from 9-6 and is a lovely place to relax. The staff are friendly and the resort is only a few minutes from the cliff front where all the shops and restaurants are located. Would definitely recommend.
The best massage experience in varkala under d guidance of ganesh Brilliant work and was super impressed with professionalism, cleanliness and quality of massage. Will surely visit again for another experience
irst after checking in the room did not have running water. It was not until 4 hours that we finally got some flow. The next morning big surprise of no breakfast, even as it is mentioned twice in the listing. Blamed all people but took no responsibility for the problem. At least Expedia helped after their cheap attitude. NO HOT WATER EVER. There is an unwritten rule, where guests can not have visitors for more than five minutes. They call the room and then come to the door like thugs to make your friends leave.. you can talk with them at the restaurant they tell. Then finally the charge extra if paying with card. 3% additional charge for a room that already was overpriced
