Savithri inn is an Amazing place to stay from short or long terms, built in nature with a yoga hall, 1minute walk away from the sea. Rajesh ji and Prashant ji are very professional and made us feel like a home, value for money. Highly recommended.
We spent here 2 nights under recommendation of another hotel and were impressed by the friendliness of the owners and staff. Nice simple bamboo huts with AC and spring mattresses that for this price range so close to the beach is really good. Cleaning is also good and the location is very quiet in a park like setting. Only complaints are lack of various power outlets and darkness of the hut.
Great service all around and staff really care, going the extra mile here! The super helpful managers suggested really interesting and personalised outings and arranged transport with friendly driver who doubled up as guide which was extremely helpful in non tourist situations. Excellent location, quiet but close to beach and restaurants, lush and very well maintained garden. Cottages are basic but fit for purpose, spacious bathroom, and with private terrace. Tasty and varied breakfast, fresh fruit and timings flexible. Good wifi, fan absolutely sufficient during winter months, massage treatments across the road are superb and very well priced. Pick up from airport was punctual and the driver took me the scenic coastal route and stopped for come mango in the way :) Would definitely want to return again as this was such a smooth and gentle introduction to India. …
A small paradise to get some rest, it's incredibly peaceful. It is clearly one of the best quality/price ratio on the cliff. Breakfast is good and the staff super nice. Moreover the location is perfect, near the beach, restaurants and shops
Me, my wife and two children (8 and 10) stayed here for 10 days. It was perfect. Close to all the restaurant, shops and hussel and bussel of the north cliffs at varkala but set back just enough to have a totally peaceful retreat. With hammocks to laze around in in the sunny gardens and basic but comfortable rooms with small porches and fans. The owner and staff were very friendly and helped us whenever we asked with whatever they could. For us it was a perfect location, as I have said it was quiet but close to the cliff experience but it is also only a short walk to black beach and beyond were you can have a much quieter and peaceful beach time compared to varkala main beach (which is also great and walking distance). All in all great value for money, friendly and highly recommend. The best review of all, I think, is that if we were to go back to varkala we would want to stay there. Thanks Savithri…
