Undoubtedly Kerala cottage has the best rating amongst all the stays here in varkala. More promising than a 4 star hotel , the cottages offer the best view with some amazing mouth watering breakfast which is all home made and fresh. Ample of parking space with an amazing host who knows how to send his guests back happy ! The trip was 10/10 because of the host and my stay here at Kerala cottage. Don’t think twice before booking this place. Just go for it. I think will come back again to varkala and stay at the same very cottage.

This place is an awe with spacious Super Deluxe Room in Cottage c-5, c-6 ... and it's just about 3-4 kms from Varkala cliff... and even less if you are walking along the shore.... An excellent place to stay to spend leisurely morning to evening right sitting right in front of the ocean. The place is well equipped to serve everything and with a very responsive and responsible owner Mr. Thayoob, which makes sure nothing is short of .. when it comes to hospitality .. The only shortcoming wihch i see as of now is that it does not have a dedicate restaurant of it own.. so if you wish to enjoy your breakfast .. it will be served on your bed or chairs in the balcony (porch) .. and yes the variety of it ... would rather be limited to few choice of what you could have in breakfast... Though for an enjoyable breakfast .. you can walk 500 metres to the left of the shoreline to Blue Water Resort for Delicious meal and breakfast experience .. breakfast / lunch or dinner.…

Stayed here for 4 days and everything was nice. Beautiful wooden cottages in the heart of nature. Hospitality was amazing, from owner to staff everyone was very friendly and very helpful. Cottage Location is very scenic, you see and hear the rustling of waves sitting right at your porch..north cliff is 2km if u chose to walk alongside the beautiful cliff and 4kms through main road. All in all, would totally recommend staying here.

Wish to escape from the madness and monotony of life and spend some time in solace with just the noise of crashing waves for company, then this is the place for you. I stayed in one of the cottages and loved every second of my stay here. The door opens to a lovely view of the ocean, chirping birds and lush greens. To make the experience even better, expect wonderful hospitality and sumptuous home-cooked breakfast by the host.
