Loved the stay. The balcony was neat, clean, proper sunlight and shed, and view. Bathroom was sanitised, proper soap clean towels bedsheets were provided. Extra bed also was provided with bed and not just a mattress, toilet paper rolls too. Everything was good. A must try stay option.

We had an executive room on the 3rd floor, with views of the car park and ocean from the balcony. Room was clean, big balcony, a/c, fan, T.V but no safe.Beach towels supplied on request.
Bathroom was typical Indian style with no bath mat. We attended their New Years Eve Gala , which included drumming, Katikali dancing, buffet dinner & amazing fireworks. It poured with rain just before midnight, but cleared up just in time for the most unbelievable fireworks, hand lit and in the front yard of the hotel. We held giant sparklers and the staff lit hundreds of fireworks into sky for over an hour. It really was a spectacular evening.
The hotel is in a great position and it exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was very ordinary, but there are plenty of good cheap places to eat nearby. We did not eat any meals at the hotel as the restaurants on the cliff top were all very cheap and good.
All the staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

I am sure the people running this hotel aren’t the real owners. I paid close to 22k for one night and three rooms. What we got was a stinking run down motel, run by a few amateurs simply scamming tourists into believing something else. I was horrified of the free upgraded suite room and how it’s condition was. I wouldn’t recommend this abomination to anyone. Blood stained towels, broken mini fridge that stinks, bathroom stinking like public toilets, the list goes on.

This hotel looked great online but the whole hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. The staff are great but their owner it seems doesn’t want to upgrade. Our room had wires showing everywhere. A tired bathroom and an air conditioner that pored water until it was later fixed. (Initially with black tape).

Wish I had paid more attention to the reviews !! Shabby, run down, dirty, wires hanging out all over the place, disgusting fridge. Sea view was a gross twist of the truth, the view is actually the helipad car park. I cancelled my booking after one night and went to Sajjoys instead. Owner didn't seem to care anyway.

Our agent had booked us into a hotel not to our taste, and this hotel took us at very short notice. The hotel manager was extremely kind, helpful and efficient. The room was very clean, well maintained with nice decor, Excellant bathroom, lots of hot water. We had a balcony with very nice easy chairs and a view of the garden and sea, this was on the second floor. The hotel is situated in a very quiet position. The hotel provided a very good selection of both Indian and Western breakfast, it was extremely fresh and very good, and lots of it. The restaurant was very nice with an open front that looked out onto the garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Sanctum spring is a very nice hotel facing the helipad which is a great location if you like to be close to the restaurants on the cliff but you do not want to hear the music coming from the bars.
We stayed in a large suite which had a sitting area with flat screen TV and a fridge to keep your drinks cool. It also had a large balcony overlooking their garden and out towards the sea.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - able to give advice on transport and surrounding areas.
It is a bit more expensive than some of the other accommodation available but if you want to treat yourself to somewhere very relaxing and friendly it is definitely worth it.

We liked Sanctum Spring Beach Resort. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We were not too impressed by the included breakfast though.

The location is good since it is close to the beach and the restaurants on the cliff but it is still a quiet place. There was a big parking lot between the hotel and the ocean so our view from the balcony was so so.

We can definitely recommend this place, especially to families, but if we get back to Varkala we might consider a cheaper and more personal option on the cliff.

Is there enough space for Extra bed in executive room?
Answer from Kalai Designs
5 contributions
Possibly, but will be very cramped. Two of us had twin beds, but if you had a double bed then possibly, but it would be very squashed. So actually not a great idea. There are bigger rooms there which would adequately fit your needs.

Resort is how far away from the cliff? Do they have parking space?
Answer from Kalai Designs

Hi there the resort is right at the start of the helipad, so a few steps to the cliff. The helipad has plenty of parking space on resort's doorstep. Hope you enjoy your stay!
