1. Location is on the cliff. View is good. Long walk to the center and the beach. 2. Rooms are old and barely hygienic. 3. SERVICE IS PATHETIC AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. 3. They ll make u feel grateful for serving breakfast ( which u have already paid for). 4. Breakfast wait is abt 45 minutes. 5. Stopped Buffet breakfast after a day. Had a great weekend celebrating my wife's Birthday with my family. The Resort is located at the end of the North Cliff. Excellent location, Great view from the resort can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the resort. Easy access to the beach 1 min walk from cliff to beach and 5 - 10min walk to helipad. Swimming pool is well maintained. In house restaurant was not available but we were provided room service from a restaurant next to the property. Many Thanks to Suresh and his team, Excellent customer service and hospitality. I stayed for 2 nights in a cottage and pool view room. The view from Pool view rooms is simply amazing. I would definitely recommend this property to spend quality time near the beach.

Well positioned on the cliff with easy walking access to all three beaches. The staff at the restaurant including Ajin took good care of us. Swimming pool was great and the old traditional architecture in some rooms was lovely

WOW!!!!!. That's how i would like to start my review, My 1st ever visit to this beautiful blue watered(Suprised) coastline. And I'm so flattered, Varkala was one such pleasant relaxation i had after a very long time. And to talk about sun view, a sea view holiday home that's how my experience was in this stay, want a wonderful ambience, prompt hospitality services, beautiful clean rooms(i stayed in a cottage), humble and superb staff. All in all i would like to say sun view beach resort is a 100% recommended stay in Varkala for all types of crowd international and national.

When I arrived in Varkala I stayed in another hotel the first night but walking around the clift I just came across with this super nice hotel right in the clift with a superb swimming pool and sea view. I just felt I was needing that upgrade and the staff looked very welcoming so I changed next day to Sun View for initially 2 nights. I stayed in the small white cottage next to the swimming pool. However, I decided to prolong my stay 3 more nights because it deserved it. The place is super nice, in a quieter are of the clift with astonishing sea views, a well presereved garden and a very clean swimmingpool (from where you can see the sea and sunsets). Considering my whole stay in India, here is where I felt more like home. The staff was very dedicated and with always a smile in the face. You could appreciate that they are not just workers of the hotel but they feel like family and so did I feel when I stayed there. I even got ill and they took care of me, they were always there. Also the manager is a very honest and kind person that is ensuring that you have everything you need and that your stay is perfect. And awesome breakfast! If I ever go back to varkala for sure I will come back to see the family again! :)…

Good 3 star pool Hotel on the best side of the cliff Beach (north) Beautiful sea view and sundets. Common areas Cozy with Palm trees and pool area. Only a short Walk to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are good and fits a family of 4 with an extra bed. Cleaning ok in rooms. Beds are ok. AC in room silent. NOTE to management. There was a construction area while visiting pretty disturbing. Common areas needs a face lift. Paint. Remove everything that is broken. Clean property. Change broken furniture and broken things. etc etc. Cleaning must be better. Pick up rubbish and wipe of tables etc. Clean the pool area more often. Cover construction areas much better next time. And inform guests that there is disturbing noice day time. Restaurant should be priority. I would change the name and start over with a serious change of concept as the rating is Very bad from several customers. Might work for the indian Market but for international tourism you need to step up. NOTE TO ALL PEOPLE INVOLVED IN VARKALA TOURISM Varkala is so dirty, garbage everywhere. As of your tourism involvement Pls try to do something. Varkala is so so beautiful but it is SO MUCH GARBAGE EVERYWHERE. And it just seems no one cares. …

The hospitality of authorities are so rude and arrogant...As a customer we pay and stay here but the way their behaviour and talks were as if they pay us for being here...Usage of words to the customer was very arrogant by the authorities.. We had booked in through online and coming here they didn't confirm our stay and demanded for the floor rate..Kept us waiting in that issue... The ROOM IS NOT AT ALL WORTHY FOR THE PRIZE OF 2K!! It's truly disappointing when customers are kept waited between the issues of hotel and online booking... Worst ever experience in being in "SUN VIEW BEACH RESORT" PEACEFULNESS OF OUR STAY WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED WITH THE ARROGANCE OF THE AUTHORITIES.. HELD US WAITING DURING CHECK OUT FOR THE ISSUE BETWEEN ONLINE AND APP AND HOTEL!!
