We booked 3 nights at Bohemian Masala on the basis of the fantastic reviews on here and a similarly glowing report in the Guardian newspaper but were disappointed. The place has been bought by VC resorts who are in the process of transforming it into an expensive resort. The yoga, cafe and Ayurvedic centre are no longer in existence nor...

There are some properties that you connect with the minute you walk into them! With greenery all around, you immediately get a feeling of peace and relax. The rooms are pretty basic with very interesting architecture. When we were told there was no A/c we were a bit concerned but the rooms are surprisingly cool! Beautiful interior decoration as well....

A very good choice if you are looking for silence and rest. The staff were very kind and helpful. The bungalows were clean and nice. The beds were large enough for two persons to have a good night's sleep. I can highly recommand The Bohemian Masala!

There is a Spanish song called Noches de Bohemian. The song vibrates of passion and warmth, sweet evening of peace. I would say Bohemian Masala is just like the sound of that song. The whole vaste Bohemian Masala area has a green oasis where you can dream away laying in one of the hammocks under the palm trees and listen...

This place is really lovely - nice garden, great design, cute. It's quiet. However, the staff was rude, disorganized, and unfriendly. They gave us zero advice when we checked in - just showed us to our room. It was cute, but lots of bugs. (It's impossible to keep them out...the bathroom was basically an ant farm, hahah, and lots of...

We stayed in these lovely huts by chance. The resort has taken over another that I stayed in last year. The whole area has been cleaned up and is now really amazing. The beautifully decorated clay huts are arranged around a lovely garden area where there are hammocks and areas to sit under the coconut trees. The huts are swathed...

Very nice resort with kind heartwarming people working there! First we wanted to stay for 2 nights, but then we booked another 7, because we love to wake up with the nice sound of birds and waves. Its a really peaceful and spirtual place where the people smoke the whole place everyday with good-smelling herbs! From the beach boulevard and...
