It was a wonderful stay, we stayed 1 month, I will never forget the taste of Ayurveda cook and in one month our life style changed into healthy lifestyle, I was making me massage therapist course and it was amazing, in one month I become a magic healer can you believe it, normally it’s a 3 or six month course but I made a double effort to finish it in one month. Thank you everyone from Sivasoorya Ayurveda healing Ashram. My wife had a very weak immune system, she was so much suffering, thanks again their paincha karma treatment made her healthy again. We are so greatful.

I must admit I was kind of ignorant when I decided to join my cousin in this 2 weeks Ayurveda treatments. But it has been an amazing experience. The routine consisted in getting up at 6am for a 2 hrs yoga, followed by vegetarian breakfast and later full body massages, steam bath and nose treatments. What I personally found absolutely amazing was the variety of delicious food, discovering new veggies and spices. The 2 weeks treatments have cleaned up my body as well as relaxed my mind. I definitively would recommend such treatments for anyone willing to find peace and relaxation. The facility is small with only 5 bedrooms which makes the whole ambiance more like a family home and the personnel is very professional, super kind and always smiling. Thank you all!!! I miss you already 😍

I am a 21 year old woman and came to this ashram from the United States with severe eczema and mental health issues. After 25 days here my eczema has completely subsided and I feel mentally strong again. This ashram has an amazing staff, the treatment ladies Sunita and Annie were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and the food given here was simultaneously healthy and delicious. Most importantly, the yoga instructor Raviji was amazing in his yoga teaching and counseling. I would highly recommend this place to treat skin diseases as their panchakarma treatment and ayurveda medicine was very effective in combating my eczema.

First time I visited Sivasoorya was almost two years ago. That time was a quick 12 days holiday/detoxification but I felt amazing at the end. I kept the good memory of this peaceful place and family feel and decided to come back. This time I stayed for 3 weeks and adressed the issue with my joints. Feeling much better, energised and stronger. I'm able to practice yoga again and trust my body. I also learned how to take care of myself better. As master Raviji says:" Let this be a turning point in your life". I would definetly choose to come back again! Picture is from Sivasoorya garden :)

After a few months, I still fondly remember my stay at Sivasoorya Ashram. It was a short 5 days and I left wishing I could spend a few weeks more. I did not expect much when I arrived apart from Ayurveda treatment and a nice sea view to relax. That changed when I first arrived. They make you feel like you are part of their family, The room at the Ashram was serene and beautiful and even during the hot summer month, I never felt warm even without air-conditioning. For someone who cannot live without eating meat, Ragul makes the most incredible vegetarian food that was different every single meal. Even on days that I went out to the beach with so many food options, I always head back for my meals just to savour his creation. As a bonus, the view of the sunset from the dinning room is amazing. The therapists were all friendly and make you feel really at ease. The treatments were holistic and I feel positive and healthy, both mind and body even for such a short stay. I loved the daily early morning meditation sessions by Guru Raviji. These meditation and yoga sessions are easy for a beginner like me and these sessions nourish the soul and mind. The manager, Sangeeth is excellent. He makes sure everything is taken care of and helps with you anything you need. That said, everyone at Sivasoorya genuinely treats you like family. I will definitely be back when I get a chance, this time for longer.

We are happy to hear about your experience through your review. We all are very happy to read your review especially all therapists, cook Raghu, Manager Sangeeth to Raviji. From a meat eater to a Vegan your journey has been fantastic. And as you correctly pointed out, that is true that all rooms of our Ashram are aesthetically designed to be cool, comfortable and give a beautiful view of the sunset with the Arabian Sea in the background.

I stayed at Sivasoorya ashram on my own for 21 days. This wonderful, serene, family-size ashram sits on a hill overlooking beautiful land and the ocean. The views are gorgeous from every angle. From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt that I belong. The drive from the airport was almost instant, especially due to arriving in the middle of the night. During my stay, the main ashram was occupied with students from TTC so we, the Ayurveda clinic patients, got to stay at the beautiful villa next door. The rooms were incredibly spacious with plenty of daylight. The staff at the Ashram became a family after the first week there. The manager, Sangeeth, makes sure everything runs smoothly (and it does) while smiling away and making you feel at home. The doctors and therapists are all well trained and experienced. The daily morning yoga and meditation practices were the highlights of my day. I continue to practice yoga/meditation daily and it became a lifestyle. THE FOOD! The cook Ragul made miracles in the kitchen every day. I had no idea that vegan food can be so delicious with such a variety. The atmosphere and the energy of the place are 100% healing and positive. Everyone, from the manager to the cleaning girls asks every day how you feel and if you need anything, you can speak to everyone freely and you sure will be heard. It has been almost 4 months since I am back and all my friends and family can witness that I no longer the same person. Can't wait to go back! THANK YOU!

I stayed here for Pancha Karma treatment for 3 weeks. I have lived and worked in India for 7 years and have been to several Ayurvedic resorts and Yoga Ashrams during this time, and I can sincerely say that this is the most authentic Ayurvedic stay that I have been to in India. The Ashram was founded by the Visionary and world renowned yoga teacher Guru Raviji, and its philosophy is to help humanity rather than just as a tourist place, and the spirituality, love and sincere quest to help you is imbued in the place and this is what makes it different to other places in India. The staff here are all very friendly and genuine and will do anything to help you and to make your stay more comfortable. As it is quite a small place you end up feeling like you are part of a family, and this is what makes it different to the bigger, more commercial resorts. The Ashram itself is beautiful and cared for, with a beautiful garden to sit in and views over the palm trees and sea. The food is delicious and healing and the therapists are very caring and professional and all the treatments will be catered for your own special needs. The yoga was exceptional: it is there to help you heal mind, body and spirit and the yoga sessions in the morning include meditation, mantra chanting, Kriyas, breathing exercises, asanas and Nidra Yoga. By the end of the practice you feel so healed and whole and usually this session lasts for 2.5 hours. What makes this yoga different to any other yoga I have done is the way Raviji puts all these elements of yoga together and also teaches you how each posture or practice is healing your body: by the end you understand the science of yoga and why it is so effective. After 22 days yoga became part of my life, and I still practice what I learnt back in my own country. Raviji was happy for me to record some of his classes and this is now an invaluable resource for me. Raviji is also available for one to ones so that you can discuss your specific issues and is full of wisdom and knowledge to help you. All the staff here have time for you and will do what they can to help you to heal and find better life style choices, so that you can continue to heal not only at the Ashram but when you return back home. I also had dietary advice and Ayurvedic medicines to take back home with me. The town is nearby- about 15 mins walk, so if you need anything like toiletries or fruit it is easily accessible: there are also local little small shops at the end of the road. The beach is about 15 mins by Tuk Tuk- local taxi- and the Sangeeth the manager will arrange a taxi for you if you want to go down there. The beach is a nice place to take a walk - although a tourist resort and the energy is very different to the Ashram down there, so best to avoid the shops there if you want to keep away from the more touristy elements. However, i found it necessary to go there in order to be able to walk as the grounds of the Ashram are quite small. When I arrived at the Ashram I was burnt out- exhausted- and had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue, PTSD and compassion fatigue, after nearly 30 years of working in International Development. By the end of my stay there I felt stronger, more peaceful, my energy returned, and the most important thing- I have wisdom, tools and practices that I took home with me and which will stay with me for life. If you are really looking for an Authentic place for both healing treatments and yoga and to increase your wisdom on how to stay healthy and well when you return, then I recommend this place for you. You will also meet very genuine other guests there and make friends for life.

Thanks for the comprehensive and amazing review and for appreciating our Ashram It is correct how you pointed out the difference between our Ashram and other commercial resorts. It is indeed very beautiful a scene to live in the Ashram surrounded by coconut trees and the Arabian Sea. Hope you fully understood the importance of Meditation, mantra chanting, kriyas, breathing exercises and Asanas along with Ayurveda and Panchakarma treatments. We hope you are now stronger, peaceful with more energy than before.
