I stayed at Hin Kin during the off season for 5 days and was fortunate to be the only guess there at the time. This place was just what I needed, On meeting Karen I found that she was so welcoming and caring and felt an instant connection. I loved the quite surroundings and waking up to the sound of the... More

I stayed at the Kin Hin centre with a friend in the beginning of April (2016) for about 5 days. I really liked the quiet and the peace of this very open centre, with a gentle rhythm of morning meditation, morning yoga and evening meditation. The guest rooms are clean and spacious and pleasant, there is a nice outside balcony,... More

If you are looking for a piece of zen paradise, Kin Hin Center is the place for you. We booked a 5 days meditation and yoga retreat at the center and it was one of the highpoints of our trip to India. The center is well located in the peaceful village of Pachaloor, just minutes away from busy Trivandrum and... More

Karen and Sivan's new location is beautiful amongst the palm trees, 2 minute walk to the river and sea. Roof top is great for meditation as it's covered so no sun beating down on you and there is a balcony area for relaxing outside the rooms. Karen is a great hostess and both she and Sivan can give you whatever... More

I traveled for months through India looking for meditation centers. Kin-Hin was certainly the greatest one. There's simply too much to say and this reviews are mostly helpful when they´re short, so like all great experiences, I think that most of it will remain only to myself to appreciate fully. However, this is what people probably should know. The best... More

We had an amazing short yoga vacation at Kin-Hin Zen Meditation Centre. Karen is an extremely kind and warm hearted person and an excellent guide to help one practice meditation not to mention a very hospitable and friendly host, with her contagious smile. Never practiced yoga, the way we did with Sivan, learnt and mastered a few more asanas and... More

Kin-hin is located beautiful local settings away from touristic Kovalam but If you feel like visiting Kovalam you can either walk or take a auto richkshaw there. The owner Karen is very helpful and has good local contacts. Besides free meditation classes, there's a space you can practice yoga your own as well. There are also cafes and restaurant nearby... I stayed at Kin-Hin for a few days both before and after attending a Buddhist meditation retreat at Bodhi Zendo in Tamil Nadu State. My aim was to acclimatise after my flight from Australia, to sample some good local cuisine, to shop, meditate, and to do a little sight seeing. All these goals were more than satisfied without hassle or... More

If you are beckoned by the sea, but wish to stay slightly away from crowds, and have an eye for natural beauty, Kin-Hin is the place for you. The host is amazing, her laughter is contagious, one does not feel like staying in a place that is profit-driven. Instead, what you have here is a place that feels like home.... More
