Vivanta - the renewed Thiruvanthapuram hotel, is right in the heart of the city and makes perfect business sense for a traveler. While I was travelling for a business meeting, the stay was very comfortable, the reception and hospitality was great and the service was excellent. The business center also met with my needs with a specially crafted menu for my small team.
During this pandemic, where safety and cleanliness is a prime requirement, Vivanta provided a reliable, sterile yet warm environment. The in room dining mandated by the Covid norms was a bit disconcerting, but it was made up for by the choice of menu, the great taste and impeccable service.
I can wholeheartedly recommend a pleasant stay at Vivanta for Business or personal travel/ home away from home stay.

We stayed at Vivanta for over a week and the staff all became our family. The staff are excellent at taking care of you and treated us as family. They knew our names and our daughters name from the first day and always welcomed us anytime we came into a different space in the hotel. The front desk staff was top notch: Merlin, Jomlin and Maitri always took care of us and answered our questions, helped book cars, assisted us in extending our stay. Mr. Rajen at the pool always took wonderful care of us. He assisted us with getting extra towels and putting us at the perfect spot out of the sun. Rajen is a wonderful communicator and friend. We loved the infinity pool on top of the hotel and the beautiful view of the city. The workout facility was also extensive in the equipment. Mr. Nazim Sait also took wonderful care of us and helped us in any way that he could. He helped extend our stay as well and also assisted us with a late checkout. We are so grateful! The breakfast and dinners we enjoyed at Vivanta were wonderful. The buffet was always fully stoked and had a diverse amount of food that was delicious. We enjoyed the chefs omelettes and dosas daily. Shebin, Shibin, Curu, Arun and Aishwarya brought us breakfast and dinner daily. They remembered what we wanted and always brought it right to our table or dishes that we needed in our room were brought timely. Our room was always thoroughly cleaned and had everything we needed for our stay thanks to Proshabh. Also, Sooraj, our driver, was excellent at knowing exactly where we needed to go and getting us there safely. Thank you Vivanta you were truly an exceptional experience!

Our family had the best 3 days at The Vivanta by Taj in Trivandrum. We are TRV residents and our stay here made us feel even more like this was home too. We were part of an event party and had family stay with us in mutiple rooms and everyone was fully satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality provided by the entire team, whether it be house keeping, food and beverages and front desk staff. The staff was always cheerful, courteous and full of energy to provide their services. A few shout outs to Mr Ashik; Mr Sudheer, Ms. Suja and of course the famous chef Mr. Sundaram and his sous chef Mr. Ratheesh. Their "sadya" is superb, very tasty and fresh and above all served in plenty. I highly recommend the Athens Hall for any event...it has a very romantic Roman feel to it....Attention to detail by every staff member was quite noticeable from the minute you walk into the hotel and until you leave the premises. We look forward to many more visits to this hotel during our upcoming visits to Trivandrum. Thank you much and good luck!

In times of pandemic we are hesitant to step out of our homes to dine in public spaces. Taj Vivanta has the perfect solution. Food prepared by celebrity chef and delivered to your home. Recently, we took advantage of this arrangement by Vivanta. We are glad to report we were not disappointed. Their service exceeded our expectations. Food was excellent, hygienically packed and delivered promptly at the requested time by their own staff. We especially appreciate the fact that the home delivery part was not subcontracted to a third party like many other hotels, This certainly enhances the reputation of the hotel and our trust in the hotel for quality of service.

The hotel location is very good we can easily find out from the airport.Front office staffs are very active and they really shown the hospitality compare to other hotels .From front desk Maitreyi and Sagnik they helped us to go to Jatayu Earth Centre and local places visit ,they arranged cab and guided us . In this pandemic situation staffs are very less also the house keeping team is doing a great job. From reservation Ridhin to service Sudhir everything is excellent compared to other hotels.

Great location,really clean & pleasant rooms but the actual thing which makes this place so great is their internal customers i.e staff. We were there for my son’s birthday celebration with my wife and 9 months old twin daughters. They made it really memorable with their level of service & hospitality. All the people were incredibly helpful & generous specially Meitreyi who made us to have our breakfast properly,she ensured that every items that we asked for were presented on our table with a smile and most importantly playing around with my 3 years old naughty son in a cope up with her work,made our morning beautiful.
She also tried showcasing her hotel standards and introduced us to hotel operations manager Mr. Nazim & Hotel General Manager Mr. Rana who also exchanged his contact details with us and to contact him if we again land up to Trivandrum city. Thanks.

Buffet could’ve been much better: Slow to refill, cold food, I stayed here after staying at green cove and the difference was extreme. Room service here didn’t attend to room until late noon, had to manually inform reception on my way out. Phones went unanswered several times.

Even during these challenging COVID times, the staff is very courteous and they take care of smallest of your requirements. I had forgotten my charger, two of the front desk managers MR Dothan and Maitreya gave me their personal charger so that I don’t run out of my battery charge on phone. Being a pilot it’s very important to keep it on all the time except in flight. The food served to me on both days was absolutely suited to my needs, delicious and nutritious catering to my request, less on oil and calories. I personally thank Chef Saravanan for the same. The food services were promptly delivered by Ms Priyanga, with smile and before time. All in all a wonderful Taj Vivanta experience and assurance as always. Thanks Shivani Kulkarni Capt
