Great value rooms and hotel. Rooms were basically furnished but totally clean and a really good size. Double doors opened up onto a balcony that had great views over the garden and into the hills. Excellent to relax and watch monkeys leap through the canopy. Most rooms have a balcony or outdoor verandah, apart from a couple that are back...

This family run hotel is in a great location, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained and there was a good supply of hot water. The restaurant on the roof serves a good variety of Indian and non-Indian food and their fresh French press coffee was so good after days of milky nescafe, not...

The overall experience at Chrissie's was very good, and I highly recommend it. The staff is extremely accommodating, the rooms are nice, great hot water, great restaurant with healthy non-Indian food choices, internet worked well in the lobby. The location is very convenient to walk to town.

We arrived to a very warm welcome after a 5 hour taxi journey through rubber and tea plantations. This small and very friendly hotel is in a great location on the edge of the town and within easy walking distance or short tuk tuk ride from it's many attractions. The rooms are simple yet spotlessly clean with large balconies which...

We had the pleasure of staying with Chrissie and her husband (And wonderful staff) for two nights for Christmas and my birthday. I had the daunting task of organising a short trip away for myself and 8 other people and thankfully found Chrissies hotel. After I made initial contact Chrissie was very helpful in making bookings for all activities we...

We stayed at Chrissies during a family holiday in Kereka. The staff were most helpful and bent over backwards to be of service. The hotel location is ideal both for taking the short walk into town and accessing the the nearby Lake for the wonderful boat trip. On staff advice we took the early morning boat and were rewarded by...

lovely rooms, landscaping, service, cafe...can't say enough wonderful things. The managers were extremely helpful as well...would go again in a heartbeat. After some grisly experiences in India I was pleasantly surprised by excellent and congenial service.

I stayed at Chrissie's Hotel in January 2013.The description of hotel and service does not match what I found. Rooms are very basic, bathroom basic, The shower is not attached to the wall, so very difficult to wash holding the shower, and trying to clean yourself. how difficult would it be to add an attachment to the wall.???? No where...

We stayed at Chrissie's hotel for one night in late December at the height of peak season. The hotel is well-located on a quiet side street and is only a short walk to the centre of town. The rooms (we stayed on a third floor room) though somewhat basic, are spotlessly clean and well-maintained and have everything that you need...

It was Christmas and naively I hadn't booked well in advance, but Chrissie and Adel were so helpful even though they could only put me up for one night. Great people with a genuine interest in their guests and their well being. They went well beyond the call of duty to help me (and others). The rest of the staff...
