"When you are very hungry and mom serves your favourite dish..😋" That's the perfect example I can use while describing this property.
First thing you will experience is warm welcome by Nabeena (staff at reception) and her great hospitality and second thing is mesmerizing view from hotel room. There is absolutely no obstacle between you and forest as property and forest shares common boundery.
You may experience jungle safari from your hotel room. Do carry binocular to spot some wild animals by sitting in the room. There are very high chances to spot wild animals in early morning before sun rise. I was able to spot Gaur (Indian Bison) during my stay.
Rooms are very specious, neat and clean. Currently restaurant is closed due to covid measures however you can order tea coffee veg sandwich etc. and there are some good restaurants available nearby hotels. Breakfast is served in hotel and it was delicious.

Great hospitality, only requirement is that if space of Imerial Deluxe rooms can be increased and a balcony can be made. The hotel is also near to the Periyar Reserve which is convenient. only thing is if space of the room can be increased. Kudos

Checked into hotel in their royal deluxe room (as the receptionist told) to find out that AC is not working. Called them to that they said they will provide a fan in room. They can't do anything else. Nor they can refund. At 9:30pm they told they can shift me to a 2 star hotel (of they had only asked to shift to a higher rating hotel than theirs). Mini fridge missing in room .toilet flush not working. Thought view from room was good, these problems ruined my stay over here. -jayant Room 501 Date-04/02/2020

When we planed a trip to Thekkady last month, no other hotel name came to our mind. We have stayed in Hotel Tigers Roare many times. The main reason being value for money and its situated right at the entrance of the Periyar Tiger Reserver. The only disappointment we had this time was that the Restaurant was not in full swing. we got only breakfast from the hotel and the rest we had to mange from a restaurant across the road. The hotel manager arranged a full day Jeep safari, which was adventurous and enjoyable. Climate was good.

Hotel was nice and we had pleasant stay for a night during my visit to Thekkady. It had clean room with all basic amenities in deluxe room. For dinner they arranged buffet and al-a-carte and the food was delicious. We had complimentary breakfast included with my booking and it was good too. Everything was good and hotel staff were helpful and friendly in nature. Keep up the good work and I will recommend people to stay in this hotel.

We had a delightful holiday experience. We enjoyed a lot. They have taken every precautionary measure to ensure the safety and comfort of the guests. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with good amenities. Overall had an amazing experience here and definitely like to visit again.

They do have restro in the hotel itself which is pretty good. Beside the hotel there is another food joint(dont recall the name but its exactly beside the tiger roare)
Ideally you can go to Munnar then from that to trekkady. You can hire the personal cab for whole tour. Once you reach trekkady you can easily reach here

As per your concern about the hidden camera, we have not found any suspicious cameras till now, after this false review was posted in the trip advisor media people and department people have checked thoroughly and they did not find anything then they concluded it is a false review. We have told the whole story it is posted by a terminated old staff (for his misappropriation) and the management have already registered a complaint against the person in the local police station and in cyber crime.
As you known our hotel is a popular hotel in Thekkady and many people have visited and stayed in the hotel and we did not got any such complaints till now.
