We assure your satisfaction and happiness. Green-Court Cottages are located at the banks of Periyar Tiger Reserve. Exact location is about 100 M away from town and 500 M away from the main entrance gate to the Reserve. We have very calm and quiet atmosphere surrounded by green grasslands.We do keep up our quality in all fields and certainly give you a good holiday experience with your family and friends. BE WITH US,Get rid of your busy life and spent time with your family & with nature. #travel a lot.. don't worry about the money,just make it work...experience is far more valuable than money will ever be!!
Stayed here overnight with family, this cottage is located very close to elephant camp and Ticket counter for Periyar boat safari which helped us in visiting places on time.
Rooms are okay, nothing much but necessary things are available. There were misquotes but that's due to green surroundings, so no complain. The corridor outside room is also relaxing.
We did not book breakfast as we wanted to go for early morning safari.
Mr Joseph was helpful in guiding us about the places.
Overall I would say the location so close to sight seeing places makes it perfect stay.

Rooms are spacious,well furnished and very clean.Great ambience.Reasonable rents.The cottages are suitable and safe for families. The owner,Mr.Joseph,was very kind and welcoming.His hospitality made us feel at home.He made sure that all our needs were taken care of.The cottages are situated very near to Kumily town and the boating facility.I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Thekkady.

This is a beautiful property with lots of greenery inside. I stayed with my family including kids. Homemade Breakfast was very tasty. Uncle is very nice person and helps with all your queries nicely and patiently. For lunch dinner there are many options near by. This is walking distance from periyar boaring bus ticket counter, kalari, elephant junction, massage centres and main market. Rooms were clean. There are many safari options nearby, but our driver told us that they are not certified, so we didn't do that. For elephant junction, we are animal lovers, so we didn't take the ride. We love seeing them free like us. Kalari is a must visit, kathakali was also very nice. Massage is very costly in thekedy. Overall, thekkedy stay here was memorable.

I stayed there 1 night with family group of 40. Ambience mad location was awesome, just besides thekkady bus boarding point. Cottage and Compound is kept very clean. Gardening gives you a nice peaceful Ambience mode. Hospitality was the best part, Joseph Stayed with us till 1 am night to ensure our comfort. Price was very much Reasonable.

Such a wonderful resort. Nice hospitality and had very tasty breakfast. Felt like home and such a beautiful views to see at resort. Worth for money. This resort will surely create lot of memories to cherish.

Stayed 01 - 03 Jan 15. A nicely laid out property consisting of 11 cottages, walking distance from Kumily. the cottages are adjacent to the owners residence. Rooms are spacious and BATHROOMS are CLEAN. HOT water is available 0600-0900h. the staff is courteous. the cottage provides only breakfast, but being home made the quality is Very Good (Better than most places outside). Overall a good stay.

We found this place just walking around the back of Kumily and were thrilled with our choice. The rooms are big and airy, the bathrooms are good and spotless too. At only 2000 rupees a night for a double room this represents great value. It was a pleasure to sit outside our rooms at night. The location is ideal. It is situated close to the entrance of the Tiger Reserve at PERIYER National Park and the back of Kumily town which is busy enjoying plenty of shops and enough restaurants to please. The staff were obliging and it was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay there again.
It is worth noting that lovers of a busy nightlife will find Kerela disappointing as most of Kerela go to bed and 10pm and do not welcome noisy tourists. It is also worth noting that in Kerela smoking and drinking is frowned upon. Alcohol is difficult to obtain and in Kumily you have to ask to find anywhere that sells it. Those that do sell it in teapots and cups.

I must say this is the best place to choose if you are ever planning to go to Thekkady, and the reason being excellent Service by Mr.Joseph and his wife not only that every individual who is there at Green Court for service is just so helpful, apart from that the rates are very economical- we booked the super deluxe rooms, they were very spacious, very clean and the rooms were very well furnished. Another point I would want to mention is that the must to see places or events at Thekkady is pretty close to Green Court adding to that Mr.Joseph was so helpful to arrange tickets for few cultural events and also arranged a Jeep Safari for us at a reasonable price. All together we enjoyed the stay at Green Court and the amazing Kerala Breakfast not to miss out.

We stayed here just for one night. Advantage of this cottage is its very close to town and periyar national park and easily accesible to everything. Owner is very helpful and serves you with a smile. But they dont serve food so u ll have to eat outside. Rooms are so spacious and clean & also economical.
