This was my first stay at a Club Mahindra property and it was a good one. The property is located at a prime location and the major sight seeing places are easily accessible. The staffs were quite informative and helpful and guided us through the entire process. The entire property has a lot of plants making the stay more scenic. Cottages were big, spacious and well maintained. Apart from a couple of plastic bottles, water was available in a kettle which is a very good move. Would recommend to completely eliminate the plastic bottles
Couple of suggestions 1) Toiletries available are very minimal and can be relooked 2) The staffs in the restaurant can be a bit more accommodating. We went there for snacks with an infant and had to wait for more than 30 minutes for a cup of tea and coffee. Apart from these, overall it was a very good stay!

We had spent three nights in December 2020 at CM Thekkady. Safety is taken care right from the time you enter the resort premises, your car, luggage is fully sanitized. Our rooms were ready by the time we arrived. Rooms were very comfortable. We opted for the fun dining package as dining out during Covid times is not advisable. The spread compared to other CM resorts is lacking. Found some bit of repetitiveness in the lunch and dinner buffet. We felt breakfast was far better than lunch and dinner. Restaurant services is pretty slow, probably under staffed too. Replenishment of the food takes a lot of time. Fantastic weather. Resort is full of greenery and you can spot many monkeys on the trees. Front desk and travel desk were very efficient. First time I found a CM resort who did not trouble you daily with their sales pitch. In short a great place to vacation.

Applause to the whole team for providing a safe stay at Thekkady. We had a peaceful stay at the resort, and our concerns of travelling with an infant vanished as soon as we reached the place. As soon as we entered, our vehicle was sanitized and temperatures were recorded, at the lobby we had an easy check-in, sanitized pens were provided at reception. All luggages were sanitized properly. The weather was excellent and had a memorable time at Thekkady. Activities were closed, and food was served to room, but the resort itself is so wonderful, that we had so much fun roaming inside property and clicking pictures with our infant. Would recommend Thekkady if you prefer to unwind in a the misty hills of Thekkady. Be assured, you feel safer here!!!!

(Highlights as per my daughters 13 & 8 yrs and scripted by me)
After a 3 month of pampered stay with my grandparents’ @Mavelikara, we left for Bangalore on Jan’20th only to stop off on the way to a much anticipated sojourn to Club Mahindra, Thekkady. The drive was non-stop in order to avoid any contact with the outside (the car) world. A the entrance we were greeted by the security for a temperature check and car sanitization – done with ease & care. At the lobby, we met two very bright front desk staff Ms. Sonia & Mr. Akash. Here we also me with the Mr. Girish Kulkarni, the manager who was very nice to us and made us feel very welcome.
The room we checked into was neat and tidily kept. We truly liked the setting of the room and they were very spacious.
Getting to the most important part – food! All & absolute praise to the culinary team for all the meals we had throughout our stay in the resort – it was lip smacking. Someone really had a vision while naming their restaurant and rightly so - “’Making magical”. Mr. Aneesh (we call him the smiling uncle) suggested some of their very special dishes and I’m not exaggerating, but for someone who is really picky when it comes to food... everything was really made to taste & as a family we thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. We also tried the room service and was wonderful both on quality & taste. We had a chance to relish the Thekkady style food cooked & served in earthen pots which is a new addition to the restaurant menu and a must try for the foodies.... so kudos to the whole culinary team, I honestly think they’re doing an absolutely fantastic job. Thanks to Mr. Harkesh, Mr. Jobin for taking care of our taste buds and the service for us at the restaurant.
We went in thinking of a lazy & relaxed stay but then Mr. Suresh from the Happy Hub team encouraged us to visit a few local attractions… thanks to him we went to the Rose Garden and watched the Kalari show. We missed the kathakali show & for those who are reading my post, please do not miss it (from what I hear). The rose garden was edifying… we learned names of a few new cacti plants, we saw how cardamom is grown, we saw a few pets all @the Rose Garden. The Kalari show was simply enthralling & we truly loved the show. The sound, the lights & fire, the sparks….wow was a true treat to watch.
The resort in itself has a nice little happy hub room, which both aduts & kids can spend time in.
Overall, our experience with the CM, Thekkady was nothing short of aMaZiNg. We thank all those who made our trip a memorable one. For those travelling to CM, Thekkady – make sure you contact Mr. Aneesh – the ever smiling man is a real treat to deal with & makes every attempt to make your requirements met (with quality & genuinely).

A great property inherited from Hotel Taj and then expanded. Tastefully constructed One Bedroom Apartments. The restaurant is also aesthetically design into three parts viz Buffet Section, A la Cart Section and the Bar. It has glass walls so you can enjoy a huge Swimming Pool amidst greenery. The food is ordinary in Buffet and I suggested A la Carte. The waiters are more than willing to serve your orders. Housekeeping staff is also very efficient. I am disappointed by the front office. They are very inhospitable and efficient. They betray the traditions of Club Mahindra hospitality. Travel Desk is very cooperative. Activity staff is also very indifferent. The outdoor activities are more advocated. The senior citizens may find it a little difficult to roam around the resort ( The terrain is undulated and even going to the restaurant or reception is a challenge.

Without doubt one of the best resorts i have stayed and also very nice experience we had during our beautiful 2N3D stay. Even amidst the Covid-19 scenario the staffs were so welcoming and they were serving us very religiously. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staffs with flowers and diya. Our car and bags were properly sanitized prior to our check in. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. T he room was well equipped with welcome drinks, mini kitchen and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the hills and forest and feel the cool breeze all the time. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Right after our check in we were served very delicious lunch. We must say that the food they are serving is simply outstanding. Kudos to Chief Chef Mr.Harkesh. Due to this unfortunate Covid-19 scenario almost all the activities were closed including the pool except cycling. As the only option left me and my better half went for a cycling. Cycles were in good condition provided with the proper cycling gears too. Good job activity manager Ms Kalyani. Meanwhile resort GM briefed us about the resort, history and nearby places. Last but not the least we must thank my friends(the mad travelers) for the great wedding gift. Once again we would like to thank each staffs of Club Mahindra Thekkady for the wonderful experience.

Entire experience right from Check in till check out was terrible. Rude staff, gloomy rooms, no toiletries. Refused to supply rudely. Bathroom small and badly planned., no exhaust. Problem with hot water. Room cleaning - rudely informed that they clean only after 2 pm. When do the guests rest? It was also let out to outsiders as there was a bus full of foreigners. Staff not bothered about members. Did not try food as no one approached us. Why has Mahindra stopped providing toiletries when you charge us handsome maintenance charges. You keep cheap hand wash as Body soap and your learned staff told us that us body soap as shampoo. Is that the concept of a5 star ++ resort which you claim while selling us membership. No drinking water. Two bottles were kept as Filtered Water which were refilled by house keeping with Tap Water. How cheap can you get. You want sell Packaged Water at exorbitant rates above MRP which is legal and needs to be reported.

Beautiful property, full of trees and plants and very close to the periyar Tiger reserve. The tiger reserve reception censer is at walking distance and so is the kumily market. The restaurant is good but the activity centre is small. The staff is courteous and willing to help. Swimming pool is another place to spend some quality time with family. Not too miss the periyar tiger reserve, you can opt for a walking tour inside the reserve which can be booked on the government website.

The room furniture is quite run down, which needs to be restored immediately. the Punjabi food in the restaurant is good but the South Indian food specially appams, idlis and dosa are served cold in the buffet with limited options for Vegetarian A La Carte . The waiters are untrained and needs a lot of brushing but are quite polite and very helpful. The reception staff is very courteous and helpful, and so is the bell boy. The spa is quite good and clean. The staff at the spa are very well trained. The room were well kept by the housekeeping staff and the quality of food and in room dining was much better. The travel arrangements made by Bala at the fun zone were exceptional and so was the quality of driving by Baiju. Thank you Bala and Baiju. But overall would love to visit again.

Not a Good Property as per standard of club mahindra. Start from Rooms, cleanliness to foods... not upto the mark. They have joined 2 single bed in most of the rooms. We don't understand how 4/5 star Resort keep bed arrangements like this...Staff was humble but there were some serious issue of Management what we feel. So much of spending money in this type of arrangements, feel worthless. Pls take serious note of it @cluh mahindra arrangements

Hi Vikas, the breakfast and dinner combo prices for an adult member is ₹1050 and ₹525 for the kids (excluding taxes). For any further help, you can call our team on 0469 222401, they will be happy to assist.
Hi Vikas - they will start quoting at 1400+taxes per person (not sure about kids). But they do negotiate a lot and eventually will come down to 900 per person for the combo.
U can call up the hotel and directly speak to the F&B head - quite approachable.
There are more places to choose from in the Thekkady area.
