The location of Tree Top is excellent . It's very close to Periyar National Park ,Thekkady boating and local market with lots of spice shops. The entire resort is beautiful , well planned and landscaped .They have lots of activities for family and kids. Staff are very friendly and attentive . All safety practices are in place if you plan to go during this Covid times. Staff members wore masks and everything was clean and sanitized. We travelled with family and kids during Covid 19 pandemic and felt really safe
We stayed 2 nights. Location was perfect could walk to could walk to lovely shops and restaurants. The pool was beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. What let this hotel down was the cleanliness and the food was very mediocre.
We were here at the end of December including New Year’s Eve. Initial impression wasn’t great as we arrived quite late in the afternoon at the tail end of lunch and even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, it took ages for the food to arrive which was not a good start to our stay especially with 3 very tired children. But this soon improved the next couple of days with the arrival of the restaurant manager who was very accommodating and helpful. We also had to be moved out of our cottage as there was issues with the shower but this was dealt with very quickly. Disappointed with new year celebrations as it was promised to be great but was a subdued affair and ended at 11pm.
We were 3 families with kids.Spent 3 days and never went out.We were not on leisure but was taking an off from regular work and we tried to enjoy the facilities inside the resort itself. We spent our most memorable time in the pool and kids really killed their time. There is a baby pool with the other pool and this has helped us to watch them. It's totally safe for family with kids.Restaurant was available throughout with a decent menu which had continental, north Indian and south Indian. Staff was extremely polite and extended their helping hands whenever asked to.Enough car parking was available at the front of the resort. They have a small gym with tread mill, multi etc which was a must for me.They also have a indoor games facility which offered chess, caroms, Foosball and table tennis. Rooms are like cottages.A cottage has one large room downstairs and two double bedrooms upstairs.Rates are quite alright and would like to visit again.…
Really handy location to the town. You could walk there and I did. Many stores including variety stores, greengrocers, gift and clothing shops. Of course you will be asked to go into them but that's okay, expected. We had two rooms, cottages 102 and 101, right in front. I would not recommend these as they are close to the road, not that the road is busy but it takes away from the lovely grounds the hotel is in. I did see a monkey around the cottages one day. The room itself was pretty old. It was quite spacious. The door wasn't a great seal with gaps allowing mosquitos in. The bathroom I had the biggest problem with. Not that it was old which it clearly is, but the fact that hot water only ran for about 2 minutes then ran out. Enough time to shampoo your hair but not enough time to rinse it out. So would I stay here again? Probably not. Dinner was okay (part of our package) and breakfast fine for the one morning. We were told we could have continental the second day as we had to leave by 7.30am but at 7 (the time we were told it would be ready), only a few things were out - like bread but no butter. No coffee at all. So we left without anything.…
Stayed in hotel treetop with family and friends in September 2019 and found it very good. The cottages they provide are spacious and tidy. Rooms are surrounded by lush greenery and you can spot monkeys in the premises. Swimming pool was clean and activity area and gym was available. The food and room service was also good. Breakfast in morning had variety of food. Overall pleasant stay.
Lots of greenery friendly staff, good food, prompt room service, close to Perriyar National Park. The swimming pool and the gymnasium next to pool are the added benefits. Look forward to visit it again.
This is a perfect place to stay in Thekkady, this resort has nice cottages there are spice plants like black peppers and many jackfruit trees. Location is very close to almost all interesting place like Ayurvedic massage centres, spice market, elephant safari etc. Food and service was good. One would consider visiting this place again.
I booked three rooms for my family & the overall experience is awesome, all the amenities are well maintained & internal area also beautiful, Staff is so much co-operative, Manager Mr Rahul Panicker personally attended us & shown all internal facilities. Rooms are big enough & well maintained, pool location is also superb & overall experience is excellent.
Stay is overall good for the value for money. Lots of greenery maintained in the hotel. Since it is near to forest area you can see monkeys, squirrels, lots of birds etc. There is only complementary water bottle which is in-sufficient if 3 people stay in the room. This is applicable for the accessories for tea / coffee making in the room. Hotel will arrange off road Jeep Safaris (on extra payment) where it is difficult to access places. One day trip to Gavi also available. So people visiting this place can plan that too. Staff at the reception is friendly and professional. Service time at cafeteria has to be improved. Dinner Ala-carte is excellent, but Breakfast is average. Restaurant is costly. There are are cheap alternatives in and around 1 km. If you wish to take food from Hotel, its better to book along with room as meal package. TV in the room has only free channels. it needs to be fixed. Room cleanliness is good, but I have seen cockroaches n the room at night. So pest control needs to be improved.…
