First I should thank Mr.Ajith, he took care of us from starting to ending. He was such a friendly guy and he is taking care of this homestay with his parents. Very clean and neat rooms. Tasty home made food. Couples and family can choose this place without any hesitation. Believe me I am going to suggest this homestay to all my friends, who come to Kumarakom or Kottayam. Boating is also available and you have big place to walk during evenings.

Everything was perfect. Ajith is the most helpful host. He took care of every little thing that we required. We got a homely feeling staying here for 2 days. The food that Ajith's mom prepared was fingerlicking delicious. We also had chicken curry for dinner one day and it was delectable and more than enough for the two of us. We were also able to do our laundry here. Ajith prepared a good itinerary for our 2 day stay and suggested a good traditional ayurvedic massage place. He took care of every little thing for example one day we had to go out, he informed us that there could be a lot of sun's heat and no shade at that place and gave us his own umbrella to take with us. I completely recommend this place to anyone coming to the kumarakom allepy region. You will not be disappointed.

- Incredibly sweet host - the food we had (dosha, chapathi+matta rice sadhya+idiyappam and egg curry) was mindblowing - the host offered to drop and pick us up back from a venue we had to head to late at night where it would be hard to find transportation - kayaking experience in the brook, and cycling around, behind the homestay was one-of-a-kind. The amenities provided on premises were amazing. A must-try for folks looking to hang around kottayam and looking for a place to stay. Very good experience.

On our frequent journey to kottayam we took some good hotels to stay at Kottayam, But for a change I book this Kuttickattil Gardens Home Stay , the stay was amazing and they give Compliment Breakfast also. The room rent was affordable to everyone. If you are a group they offer   dormitory facilities at budget rate. The River View AC Rooms are excellent.  They give Kayaking tour and Canoe Boating to Kumarakom and Kudamaloor St.Alphonsa Bhavan , the birth place of St. Alphonsa. ( nominal charge only )  We all really enjoyed the stay in kottayam at Kuttickattil Gardens Home Stay near Kumarakom.

We had the most wonderful time at Kuttickattil Homestay this New Year , thanks to the wonderful hosts. This property is located in a pristine environment near a tributary of Meenachilaar. It's easily accessible . The food and accommodation was five star. It's the perfect place for backpackers looking for a getaway at an affordable price.

We took a 2.5 hour canoe tour with Ajith (Mob :9495188842 ) at Arpookara Meenachil River Backwaters . The tour started from a small canal, which often passes under many bridges. The canal is surrounded many lush green trees with variety of bird species you can see. The tour also takes you seen the unexplored backwater destinations of Kumarakom ( Arpookara ) where the view is breathtaking Rivers Very quite, peaceful and close to nature. Finally we had a coffee and some snacks from Kuttickattil homestay. A wonderful experience with “ Kottayam Kayaking ” offering Canoeing & Kayaking Tours.
