The minute you step into the river boat on your way to the island, you will be made to feel like you are visiting your family after an extended sabbatical. Aunty was waiting by the Jetty to welcome us with a smile and kind words - now, Ive been to a few places around the world - this was a...

This cooking class was offered by our travel agent, but I imageine you could contact directly the Farm. Professional cooking situation. Beautiful property. I did not see the cottages, but the main house was stunningly clean and I imagine the cottages are too.

I did not stay overnight , but attended a private cooking class while staying on a houseboat in the Keralan backwaters. My houseboat dropped me off at the farm, and I was warmly invited into Anu and Mummy's home. We then cooked a most delicious meal of chicken curry and other local delicacies, which was a highlight of my trip....

This was out second visit to Phillipkutt's Farm, we stayed one night two years ago and wished we had had more time. This year we stayed two nights, any longer and we would have had to go on a diet as soon as we left the farm! Anu, Mummy and the kitchen staff deliver wonderful Indian food to the table...

Annie, our host shared the story of the farm and made us very welcome. The meals we had were outstanding and very fresh, and the chalet was beautiful and spotless. I spent a happy...

I have never felt more welcomed or provided for at a home-stay anywhere in my travels. Anu and Mommy are the most thorough hosts and what an absolutely magic location to enjoy their hospitality. I spent three nights here at the end of two weeks or hiking and frenetic activity in Kerala and it was the perfect place to slow...

Upon arrival by boat, as you walk up to the door of the house, the smell of high quality butter and fried onions wafts through the air. This was one of the highlights of our trip. There isn't much to do on the farm but it's nice to walk around the property and take a backwater cruise at sunset. The...
