Even just walking through the door here I felt completely welcomed and embraced by Linda and her family. Nice size rooms, good location to the ferry and main tourist attractions. Linda was always there to give as much help as possible, with anything. Highly recommend her cooking lessons in particular. Thanks Linda :)

We stayed at Fort Inn on the last leg off our India journey. Apart from the affordable prices, amazing breakfasts, clean room and convenient location the thing that makes this B&B an amazing place to stay is the hospitality of the caretaker, Linda. Linda and her family which live in the establishment accomodate your every need- from backwater tours, to...

The property is charming, it has a an old colonial vibe at an affordable price. Ideally located right in the center of the old town. Linda (the proprietor) and her staff were on hand throughout the duration of my stay to assist with anything I needed. Arranging transport, restaurant bookings and even waking me up at 3:30am on my day...

I stayed two nights at this extremely clean and well-located guesthouse, close to the centre and convenient for the ferry, the atmospheric Bazaar Road architecture and historic Jewtown but away from the tourist run. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Fort Inn Cochin- The room was clean with icy cold A/C, and furnished with care. Great location, close to restaurants, fish markets and waterfront. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, icy cold lemonade and cool hand towels, and were very happy with the service we received. The owner even invited us to his...

That was a place where we met very friendly family and very good value for money! We hope that one day they will have a restaurant with good homely liked food and than they will be complete! This is a good value place to stay in Cochi. The bigger question would be is it worth staying in Cochi. Watching the fishing nets in action and seeing the fish for sale was interesting. We saw little other reason to stay here. This is an old Dutch terrace house with a nive balcony overlooking a blank wall and the...

We stayed at Fort Inn in Dec + March. This hertiage homestay has been beautifully renovated and the rooms and the reception area were extremely clean. Manager, Rose + Thomson were very helpful and not at all pushy. In March we had a larger room, with TV, Air Con and a fridge which was a bliss..:) Fort Inn is also...

“The best looking room is the ground floor extreme left. Stayed there twice. Pic attached. Though this makes it noisy too since its bang on the road which sees a lot of traffic. Autos horns can get on your nerves if you are not a morning person.”

“They are all of the same high standard, but the room at the back is likely quieter as its not overlooking the road. The power can be intermittent, as with everywhere in India, but they have a back up generator that they start up soon enough.”

“The double bedroom with AC doesn't have a king/queen bed. It's 2 beds joined together. . So may not be comfortable, esp. for people with bad backs. Extra bed - 500 Rs”
