Although Cochin now is very busy and a container port, this hotel does not have sea views and, therefore,is not troubled by unsightly views of huge cranes and ships. It is just back from the front,is well fitted out and has a delightful garden where we dined most evenings.Staff very attentive but respectful and menu and food both excellent. All rooms are good. The only...

Understated elegance, comfortable, modern bathroom, beautiful wood flooring - the perfect oasis after our flight from London and me feeling decidedly unwell. Delicious food both for dinner & breakfast. 11 hours sleep and I felt much better & able to enjoy exploring the Fort Cochin area with a guide - so interesting which makes The Old Harbour Hotel perfectly situated.

Let me start by saying that this is not a paid review. We (party of four) recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Harbour for 5 nights. We stayed in a Garden View room and was pleasantly surprised. There are only 13 rooms so it's not crowded or too busy to get good service. The management and staff...

Old Harbour is not a luxury property. Do not expect rooms with bells and whistles, it is a classic medium grade hotel made special by its location, its restaurant and most importantly its wonderful staff. Review after review heaps praise on Old Harbour and everything nice written is true. If you are going to Kochi you will not do better,...

This is a lovely place. Beautiful gardens and fabulous food - up there with the best. Friendly and attentive staff. Atmospheric. A lovely room, serviced with care, attention and copious jasmine flowers. Nice touch! A quirky outside shower. Recommended

This is a beautiful old hotel. The rooms are stunning - simple luxury that is more than you need. The garden and pool area is an oasis with lovely big trees to provide shade and a home for birds. It's well located and the staff makes you feel very welcome. We also enjoyed dinner outside under the tree with lights...

The Old Harbour Inn is a lovely tranquil hotel in the middle of the old town of Kochi. The rooms were beautiful and the staff friendly and very helpful. We were impressed with the quality of the restaurant and they made very speedy breakfast when we were running late one morning. Overall a wonderful stay and one of the nicest...

Another visit to the Old Harbour hotel and being greeted with the lovely smiles of Vineetha and Metosh made it just like returning to stay with dear friends. Our room was in the main hotel this time and was large and spacious and I loved the sprinkling of jasmine flowers on the table and close to the pillows each evening....

I stayed at Old Harbour for 2 nights with my mom. The reviews don't lie - this place is amazing! It's a beautiful old fort house that's been renovated to be a modern hotel, they did a great job updating it while retaining the original character. The hotel is also beautifully decorated, it was quite inspiring as we set off...

We visited this hotel twice whilst in Fort Cochin. Its a real oasis in a busy dusty place! I was impressed with the courteous staff and the whole ambience of the place. A must if you need calm and serenity.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of ancient Fort Cochin, Kerala, a place that exudes history and culture, is the 'Old Harbour Hotel.' A 300 year-old building that has for long been a heritage monument of this town, now reopened as a boutique hotel. Built in the Dutch style of architecture with hints of Portuguese influences, it was the first hotel of old Cochin.
