Excellent place with exceptional customer support. Very knowledgable staff. Always ready to go the extra mile. Would love to come back once every 3 months if possible. The Ayurveda treatments are very authentic. Food is briliant. Just go and stay at the Brunton and you will never regret

Hotel's Favourite
Brunton Boatyard, a CGH Hotel is a great property to stay. With its heritage feel, clean and natural surroundings facing the backwaters, it's a perfect place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms are maintained spic and span. The restaurant serves tasty food. The evening boat cruise and the morning heritage walk makes the stay more memorable. Our guide Eugene made the heritage walk interesting with the stories and witty remarks. Special thanks to the front office managers Ronald and Jennifer who took great care and made our stay comfortable.

Charming water-front property with tons of character and great staff. If you want to stay in a property that feels like a new well-made replica of the colonial times then this is the place to be. The finishing touches are all very premium. Location is also great, in the heart of fort kochi. Hotel has a number of free activities as well, including free guided walk of the city, and their own private boat for water-tours. One small heads up is that some of the facilities may be closed due to the city tourism industry still recovering - this was perfectly reasonable to us and did not impact our stay.

This was my first visit to CGH earth property and it was an amazing stay.Check in went on smooth refreshing cold towel and a welcome drink on arrival with a flower garland. Rooms were spacious and traditional, excellent design(hats off to the architect) Friendly staff at the reception who explained about the history of the hotel and its significance. I particularly enjoyed their green initiative towards every guest amenity they provided at the rooms. It was on of the authentic ECO - FRIENDLY hotel I have stayed.I enjoyed their French press coffee very innovative.Their eco friendly pen had a seed inside and I've planted it in my home town.Night cycling around fort kochi in their bikes was awesome and less crowded. Morning walk around fort kochi by a well trained guide who explained the places of significance. Breakfast was Ala- carte and made to order, but it had everything from pastries to South Indian and continental items. Ayurvedic massage was simply out of this world and so refreshing. Overall very friendly and courteous staff, who went out of the way to help their guest, there was this one staff who guided us to taking a short route through the ferry service , and came along with us and made sure we were on the right direction, a special Thanks to him. Just one suggestion if they can provided sound proof windows in their sea facing rooms, as the ship and boat sound is loud in the mornings. Will definitely visit all other CGH properties for their hospitality.

We were here for only a short time bit it was wonderful. We were made to feel like we belonged. The food was truly outstanding. I would say probably the best i have had in India. I so miss the ships gliding past my bedroom window. I will come back definitely, next time for one or two weeks. Thank you to everyone there. We so much enjoyed our stay.

This was our third CGH property during the trip and probably the least preferred hotel. Breakfast was the worst. Kitchen staff was not friendly at all. We would not recommend anyone to stay here in the future.

The staff was extremely accomadating. We arrived before check-in, and they had the room prepared for us within minutes. The grounds and room were clean. Even though the hotel sits on a busy street for the ferry and near a port where massive ships come and go consistently, the sight was beautiful, and the nights were restful. The hotel provided tea time in the late afternoon and a small cruise to see the islands from the rover boat, which was a nice activity to have before dinner. The meals were delcious, and they had plenty of options to choose from. My husband and I were very appreciative of the staff, especially front desk manager Ronald, and Sani*, who had a great deal of knowledge about Brunton and what to do locally. We were given a tour of the grounds and it's history. There was a morning historical walk provided by the hotel with a local freelance tour guide, Eugene, who has lived in Kochi his whole life. He knew his facts and knowledge of the local architecture and history. Eugene was very personable and kind. You won't regret booking your stay at Brunton!

This is a beautiful classic property with all essential trimmings. Love the historical yet minimalist decor. We didn’t stay however had several meals in the restaurant and treatments at the Ayurvedic spa during our five day stay in Kochi. Everything was of very high standard.

If you are planning to visit Kochi and not sure where to stay, my recommendation just close your eyes and select this. BBY is one of the finest hotel, I have ever been. Starting from the amazing sea view rooms, well maintained and clean property, tons of top quality amenities in room, such as best variety of complimentary tea option within the room, finest toiletry in bathroom. Wait still not over, they have complementary sunset boat ride in black water and guess what you can also might get a glimpse of Dolphin in the harbour! They will also take you in a morning walk to all the historical places in Fort Kochi. By the way Food is amazing too, I will specially mention sea food platter, which I tried, it was yumm! Now come to the main point how come all this wonderful things we can get in one place, simply because they have great hospitality. Every single stuff is very warm and well behaved. I will specifically mention Sony is the reception, she is just too good in her job and thanks to the duty manager too for being so welcoming. Thank you TeamBBY, for everything. Will come back soon and recommend others.
