Very comfortable and lovely place to stay. The family owners Shalini and Colebridge took great care of us and are the loveliest people. We didn't just get to see the lovely sights. We also got to know the community. I would strongly recommend staying here.
This was our most pleasant stay during whole India trip! Not only Kochi is interesting place but our host Colbridge made our trip unforgettable! We felt like at home. As soon as I made a reservation he sent me all information about literally everything I wanted and needed to know about Kochi and surrounding. His wife is cooking fantastic Indian dishes so I recommend you to try. They rent me scooter for a little bit underprice. Maybe this is not important for travelers general but we were fascinated with their ecological awareness, a loved the things Colbridge did for local community. All in all, these guys are fantastic and I highly recommend them as a hosts! If we go again there, we will stay at their house for sure!
It’s really a great place to stay! Lovely neighbourhood. Lovely home stay with nice atmosphere and good people. Good food too! It is nicely located into the best area of town. We had lots of fun walking around from there.
this is a wonderful place very centrally located near the Kochi sights, but in a quiet neighbourhood. The owners Colbridge and Shalini are super friendly and helpful and very generous, I even received breakfast on my arrival. Shalini is a marvelous cook. The room is very nice with everything you need. I stayed only one night, but I definitely want to come back for a longer visit.
I felt so lucky to have chosen this place to stay in Kochi. So carefree and convenient. Whatever problems you have, Nathan and his wife Shalini will help you out. It’s very quiet, private and close to Fort Kochi. Every morning Shalini made amazing Indian breakfast, different every day. I also did yoga and had cooking class with her as she is good at both. Highly recommended!
I spent 2 months in Nathan's homestay at the end of 2019 and truly cannot find anything bad to say about the place.Colbridge and Shalini were incredibly friendly and helpful and full of useful advice about Kochi . The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the lovely Shelby came regularly to clean and change the bed linen. A major plus is the fact that all the windows and doors have mosquito screens - mozzies are a serious nuisance in Fort Kochi! Would definitely recommend Nathan's to those visiting for a few days or staying longer.
We had a wonderful time here at this beautiful place. I realy liked all the plants and how the whole area is designed. Very clean and nice room, most comfortable bed :) Nice bathroom with rainfall shower, also very clean:) The homemade breakfast was amazing :)
Colbridge and Shalini are kind and generous hosts, ready with information and useful suggestions for making the most of your stay in Kochi and it's environs. I requested and enjoyed the traditional idlis, etc for a healthy gluten free breakfast. Highly recommended.
I stayed at Nathan Homestay for a month and Colbridge was just perfect with me helping out for everything. The homestay is confortable and there is really every thing you need. I highly recommend this place.
Quiet location with easy access to all the sites and main areas. Cleanliness maintained on a daily basis. We had a home cooked breakfast every day and enjoyed local dishes which changed each morning. Very knowledgeable and friendly hosts. We will definitely be returning next year!
